Thirty minutes later, the doctors got out of the ward, the turquoise-eyed doctor last.

"Doctor," said Ubercorn, "how's she? Will she be okay? Is she live?"

"Calm down, Ubercorn, she's in critical condition, but she'll live." She answered.

Ubercorn sighed in relief, and so did the others.

"Why isn't she awake now?" Kyan wanted to know.

"She might stay unconscious for a few hours-" the doctor began.

"Attention! Dr Abigail to O.R. 3! Dr Abigail to O.R. 3!" Blurted the speaker.

"Oh! That's my que! Gotta go." Said the doctor.

"Aren't you going to look after her?" Asked Lars.

"I'm afraid not. But I know someone who can. Tim!! Lily!!" She yelled.

Two kids hopped in. They were the boy and girl from the Space Rescue Team. Only this time they were in nurse's outfits.

"You two, can you look after Xuli for me? I have to get to surgery right away." Said the doctor.

"You got it, Ab. We'll look after her, you get to surgery." Smiled the girl.

"I knew I could count on you, guys. Bye!" Said the doctor as she ran to the O.R.

"C'mon Tim," said the girl, "let's see how's she doing." They went into the ward.

Just then a nurse came to Ubercorn, Kyan, Lars and Foz.

"Hi," she said, "just so you know, visiting hours will be over soon, so I think you'd better leave, please."

Ubercorn sighed, "Okay, come on, guys, let's go."

Reluctantly, the boys joined in and left the Hospital. Kyan was terribly upset that he didn't get to see Xuli. He really hoped everything will be okay with her.

As soon as they got back to the Academy, Xuli's family surrounded them, and withan addition of some questions blurting out all in one go:

"How is she?"

"Is she alive?"

"Can I go see her?"

"Is she okay?"

"Are they treating her?"

"Will she die?"

Ubercorn was baffled, he wasn't accustomed to this commotion.

"Woah, there! Calm down, guys! One at a time!"

Laura: "How is she?"

Ubercorn:"The doctors say she's in really critical condition, but she'll live."

Greg: "Did they treat her?"

Ubercorn:"Yes, with defiblerators, it was hard, especially when Kyan ran in and paused the process."

Jack: "Can we see her?"

Ubercorn:"I'm afraid not. Visiting hours have ended, but I'll see if I can check on her later."

Audrey: "Is she hurt?"

Ubercorn:"A lot, really. But she'll recover soon, I hope."

*Time skip*

The boys were fast asleep, snoring quietly. The cadets (except for Tim and Lily) were asleep. It seemed like the entire island had gone to sleep. You could easily tell it was nearly midnight.

Ubercorn went to the Hospital to tend on Xuli. The receptionist pondered why was he here at such a late time. He said he needed to check on Xuli. The receptionist said that she was in ward 26, she were still unconscious.

Ubercorn crept past the halls to ward 26. He knocked on the door.

"Who is it?" Whispered Lily's voice. Tim had gone out to check on other patients.

"Lily, it's me, Ubercorn," he replied. 

"Come in," said Lily. He walked into the ward and on the bed, he saw a pale figure, hair surrounding her head like a halo, and breathing in shallow pants.

"Is she okay?" Said Ubercorn.

"She still hasn't woken up, and we don't know what will happen, but she'll live." Said Lily.

"Well, as long as she's safe, it's all okay."

Lily smiled again when she saw Ubercorn looking upset. "Don't fret," she said, "I'm sure she's okay. Xuli's a strong girl, I'm sure she'll survive this peril."
