His voice broke my thoughts only to smile at the radio. The beautiful songs of Sonu Nigam began to play and the weather had as well become different.

I was a bit relaxed now, with that statement I have let him know that I am his, now I just hope that he would remember that.

The childhood's most wonderful memories!

Mine were all with Anika, and the rest of our gang it was so hilarious how we all had become friends time after time.

Flashback.

"will you be my friend?" Arjun asked me.

This was one of the epic questions a person could ask that other person whom you met about two days ago and in the very first meet you would kill him or her with your looks and then finally ask that same person "will you be my friend?"

I moved my hand to his forehead and checked his temperature. It was fine yet I felt something was wrong.

"are you alright?" I asked him.

He took a deep breath and said "I know I behaved like a jerk these few days, but the thing was till now Anika and me we were friends then being brother and sisters, and then one evening she calls me and tells me that she has got a best friend. I was a bit jealous and worried. This world isn't as good as it seems we never trusted anyone with Anika and mom and dad were too frank with you and that didn't seem well with me. But then these days I saw how you were with her and then I realized that you are truly a great person. Don't take me wrong as I have been befriended mostly because of what our name is and not the for who we are-"

I knew what he was trying to say. These media, people and even the so called friends of ours would only be with us till we are in news and as soon as we are off screen we won't be even recognized by anyone, there are quite a few of them who would really do that, and Anika's family was one of them.

"but when I saw the way behaved with her, the way you cared for her; changed my p[inion about you. I am really sorry if I did have hurt you in any way. But can we please keep these things aside and be friends?"

There was a pregnant pause. He looked quite scared, and what I was feeling was – happiness. For Anika her twin was important and it was as well quite important for us to be in good terms and now that I had an opportunity I wouldn't let it go.

"friends!" I said and extended my hand for a handshake.

There was this big smile on his face. Arjun quickly took hold of my hand, and then from then on, I was sure no matter what I had got stuck with two biggest idiots.

"Ohh god! Arohi wake up we have to go." I was pushed again and again vigorously. My blanket was snatched from me way before and now I can as well feel someone dancing on my bed.

"go away Arjun let me sleep," I said and snuggled into the pillow, which was a bit ago under my head.

"this girl!... Arjun get aside to let me wake her up." I heard Nitya's voice and then after a few shifting, first I felt light breath on my ear and then finally came to her voice.

"Arohi, Vivek is about to come with us, if you don't want me to tell Arjun about your crush you will wake up right this instant or else the new-"

"I am up!" I declared and looked around only for my eyes to go wide.

Arjun and Anika were sitting on my bean bag, or shall I say trying to fit in it. Dev kabeer and raghav were dancing on my bed, rehea and misha were taking a tour of my room and Abha and Vihaan were busy having this idiotic look on their faces.

"vohh what did you do that She got up in just a second?" Arjun asked still fighting with his sister.

I just ignored their question and walked to my wardrobe and took out my clothes. I was about to enter the washroom when I saw Arjun almost kicking my best friend down the bean bag.

"Arjun singh get up from there or I would-" I took out my phone and was about to show everyone the video when he stood up from there and went to sit on the bed his head sulking.

He looked so cute.

I walked up to him and pinched his cheeks and smiled at him. The one he would always ask me to give and then hugged him.

He hugged me back tightly and then finally I walked in the washroom to freshen up.

It had been 6 months since we all have become friends. At first it was weird to adjust, welcoming boys in our group and then tolerating their stupid things but then during our summer vacations we became so close that now we are just inseparable.

"Arohi come soon don't take too long there, we are as it is late!" Rehea screamed from my room .

"that's not my mistake its Sunday and who then hell plans to go to marine drive early in the morning?" I asked back making sure that the water is of good temperature and got in the shower.

I couldn't hear what she said next due to the running water.

Being a Sunday everyone would expect to sleep in their bed till 10 or 11 but my friends are cracks they expect me to get up at 6 am and then we would all go to marine drive for walk and from there to Kailash parbat to have samosas.

I mean seriously???

After fifteen minutes finally I was out of the shower and god ready in my leggings which I paired with a tank top and check shirt.

I tied my hair in a high pony and applied a bit of khol and lipgloss and wore my converse and finally I was ready.

I walked down to see everyone sitting there talking with my brothers and having fun. As soon as they saw me, without wasting even a single minute they walked out of the house.

"what was your dad talking about ?" Arjun asked as he walked beside me and put his hand around my shoulders.

"nothing, just that I have to be back home soon. We are going out for a few days." I said and smiled at him.

The smile which was there on his face immediately wore off and a deep scowl came on his face. I didn't bother to ask him what happened as I knew if he want then he would come and tell me about it.

The sun and the cold wind was awesome at marine drive, it cooled off all the stress of the whole week and once it was about 9 we finally walked off to Kailash parbat.

"aree vah bacha's you all are finally here, come I have made fresh samosas and jalebees and Raghu is making rabdi as well you all sit I will serve you." Kailash uncle the owner of the small restraint said.

Over here the samosas and jalebees were best and rabdi was the plus point.

We all finally got settled in one of the biggest table and started to devour on the samosas which were served to us.

"lets play truth and dare!" dev exclaimed and took the almost empty bottle of sprite.

Truth to be told I was bored of this game, same old questions and tasks would be told and it would be a total waste of time.

"no yaar I don't want to waste my time in this stupid game lets go home or play something else." I tried to wriggle out of the game but none of them were ready I guess, as they game me one of the nastiest looks.

Not wanting to be killed on this fine day I reluctantly agreed to play the game.

The process was done very well everyone got their equal chance and I was happy that till now the bottle hadn't pointed out to me, but that little happiness was soon killed.

"okay Arohi truth or dare? " nitya asked with a devilish look on her face. I knew if I would have asked her dare then it would be something related to Vivek hence taking a safe side I choose truth.

"alright, so now we all know that there is that some person about whom you keep on writing in that diary of yours all you have to do is say the name and what do you write about?" the smile on her face was the answer to my unasked question.

She read my diary.

I dint had any escape and finally I let out the thing which she knew and about which most of them had doubts.

"I like vivek and I have write about him in that diary .... Happy?"

I was blushing furiously and what not and these idiots were laughing their ass out.

I just wanted to strangle them to death but finally my best friend came to my rescue.

"hey let her be. Arohi you come with me and Arjun we have to show you something." That was the clue for us all to scramble out of the seat and move our asses to our home.

I stood up and finally one by one everyone walked off to their home.

"what is it?" I asked as we decided to just stroll around a bit and then finally to go home.

"umm we want to tell you something." Anika said

"no we want to show you actually." Arjun corrected while scratching his head .

He finally dug into his long pocket and took out a diary which so looked like mine.

"that's my diary!!" I screamed gaining a lot of attention from the passer by.

"yeah, and Arohi seriously you like that idiot ewww" Anika made a face and started to walk to a garden just a few blocks away from her place.

"shut up he isn't that bad."

"yep just that he looks like a monkey." Arjun said and sat down on the grass followed by both of us.

"you don't need speak about this matter Arjun. At least he is better than that stupid Katherine of yours." I replied and showed him my tongue and hit him on his shoulder.

"but still yaar that guy is way too good for you. You know what I feel your story is like those average girl and famous bad boy of the school type. If you ask me, he is stupid and not at all for you. But yeah if you already have planned your honeymoon with him then I don't mind at all ." anika winked at me and looking at they I was gaping at the two siblings they started to guffaw as if they hadn't laughed since eternity.

"shut up. God Anika, are you the same girl who was a few months back planning my wedding with this stupid brother of yours?" I asked.

Is she really gone mad?

"listen I know my brother is a crack –"

"hey you cant just say like that on my face have some decency yaar." Arjun cried but only to receive a shrug from both of us .

"okay my brother is a brat and what all beautiful words you used to say but I value your feelings if you are happy with that monkey I don't mind." Anika said.

What she said really warmed my heart. I quickly hugged her and showed my tongue to Arjun who was sulking there and muttering something like

"you girls left me all alone again."

Showing some mercy on him we two jumped on him and hugged him as well and then just to irritate him I pulled his hair and messed them up.

Once Arjun was out of his shock he stood up only to find me already running far away from him.

After that almost stupid and animal behavior of ours we came back home. I packed my bags to go for a two day wedding whereas Arjun and Anika were onto something like always.

Flash back ends.

I opened my eyes, and looked around the sleep which I was aiming for was not at all anywhere near me. The thoughts of the two singh's and how we had become so close to each other had always been coming in my mind.

It was so surreal the way we had come together, and became friends.

In fact till such an extent that none of us would imagine our life without each other.

That time was best we were friends, one who didn't have to worry about anything other than ou-r crushes, sleep and food.

But now things have changed with every step that I take it might only take us far away or quite near to each other.

"beta we have reached." Kaka said. I looked out at the name of the hospital and took a deep breath and got out of the car.

This was it!

"Anika everything would be fine ... I hope so ... soon." I thought and walked inside only to meet my team standing there with the reports of the patient.

"I need to discuss the case with Dr. neel first you all do the arrangements and please keep on monitoring the blood pressure of the patient." I instructed them and walked to neels cabin.

"Neel!"

"Arohi, he responded to the treatment his ecg is as well good, I am sorry but I had to perform that operation and he is fine now... it's your turn the surgery needs to be done, and by god's grace ithat would be successful than you and me with both will get answers to our questions." Neel said he was so tensed yet there was this happiness evident in his eyes which none could answer -+why.*

"Neel don't worry everything will be alright... he has to be fine for us and for her sake as well."

I took the reports and walked out of the cabin. It was time and if things would go as they are going and we are expecting then I promise you Arjun you would be the happiest person in this world.
