A couple days after invading the new world....

After a bit of fighting with the remaining imperial forces that were camping near the GATE NATO forces now occupy and hold the ground that surrounds the GATE. After securing the ground around the GATE dug in defensive positions were made incase of any future attack should happen. Ethan, Manfred, Alex and Rex were in a fox-hole chatting about the current events  that happened recently.   

"Manfred, I am actually glad the Philippine Army and Marines are here with us."  Ethan said. "Too bad I wasn't there to help liberate there country."

"I wonder what it was like for them when they saw your forces coming to help." Manfred said. "From what I heard I hear they were really good at guerilla tactics against the Japanese."  

"You are right there Manfred." Alex replied. "We were really good at confusing them and making them afraid of us." 

"By the way why do some of your guys carry big knifes with you?" Manfred asked curious.

"We carry them for close quarter combat, just in case." Rex answered. "And they can scare our enemies a lot when we use them." 

"I see, well that's cool." Manfred replied. "Must be nice to have a knife like that."

"Don't you have one Manfred?" Alex asked.

"Yeah,  but its no where near as cool as the one Rex has." Manfred said as he looked at his own knife. 

Meanwhile on the other side of the battle field...  

King Duran and the other allied commanders were currently discussing battle plans of how to defeat the forces on Alnus hill.

Then an Imperial Messenger came to the king with a message to tell Duran and the others there.

"Our Imperial army is facing the enemy at Alnus as we speak, the commander can not leave." He said as everyone in the tent groaned. 

"That does not make sense I did not see any enemies on the hill." Duran argued. Then another king named Duke Ligu spoke.

"Duran sir the imperial army is holding the enemy at bay (A/N: Not really..) in our place." Duke said as the Kings then got into a small argued over whose army should lead into battle first. After a little while of arguing they final chose one. 

"This will be too easy." said one king. "My army will crush them." (A/N: Are you sure about that?)

"No worry's then, there are fewer then 15,000 on that hill and we have 300,000 altogether." Duran said. "This is our road to glory."

Time skip to much later...

"Well, I'm bored." Ethan Groaned as he sat back against the wall of the fox hole. "Lord give us something to do."

"Oh calm down Ethan." Manfred said. "And be careful what you wish for."

"Mind if I joined you lads?" A voice said. Guys looked back and saw Timothy walking up to there fox hole.

"Not at all, come on in." Ethan said as Timothy jumped down into the Fox hole joining the others.

"Thanks." Timothy said as he set up his Bren gun. "We always have to be prepared for anything." 

"Yeah no kidding." Alex said as he looked through his binoculars and saw an army marching forward. "We got contact in front!"

"You just had to say it didn't you?" Manfred asked sarcastically. 

"Oh shut up Manfred." Ethan replied. "Its better than doing nothing." 

"Time to called artillery on them." Rex said as he radioed the artillery crews. Meanwhile back with the advancing army they didn't know that both 105mm and 155mm shells would be coming down on their heads. Then they all hear a very faint whistle coming from upwards and soon enough they were all engulfed in a big ball of fire and were killed. Then the attack stopped very quickly after a few shells were fired. 

Allied kingdom losses: 10,000 

The next day Ethan and the others are in the same position and are keeping look at for anything that would be coming there way. However as Ethan was looking through his Binoculars and sees thousands more of enemy soldiers marching up the hill towards them.

"Guys lock and load!" Ethan shouted. "Their coming again!"

Soon artillery guns were heard firing at the enemy and when they were in range the dug in infantry positions opened up with everything they had.

"Die you Bastards!" Ethan yelled as he fired his Thompson killing a enemy.

"Come and get some!" Manfred yelled as he fired his BAR M1918 at a group of enemy soldiers mowing them down. "This is Pay back for what you did to my homeland!!*Fires on full auto*"

"Reloading!" Alex yelled and duck back into cover and reloaded a fresh magazine and was ready to fire again.

"Nice easy burst, don't waste too much." Timothy said as he was firing burst of his Bren gun in order to conserve ammo but had plenty of it. Soon wyverns tried to get close to the ground forces but were shot down by Bofors 40mm AA guns on trucks.

The wyverns could try but they couldn't even get close as they were shot down one by one until there were no more to shoot at. Soon both M48 Patton's and Centurion Mk3's in dug in positions were also firing at the advancing enemy and destroying them. They fired both their main cannons and machine guns at them killing many. 

Allied kingdom losses: 40,000 dead 

Time skip to night time....

Ethan was currently on watch as he volunteered for it and it was very dark and no moon out which made it hard to see. Ethan was trying his best not to fall asleep but that soon went away when he heard clunking and clacketing in the distance which gave him the idea that the enemy was attempting a night raid. He soon woke the others form their sleep and they when to their positions as Ethan shot a flare into the sky. 

The flare soon showed the enemy in full lights and the NATO forces wasted no time opening fire on them. But soon they charged on towards Alnus without the intent of giving up but were cut down by machine gun or rifle fire or blown up from artillery shells or mortars. But a man in red armor tried to get pass the barbed wire and shot an arrow at the NATO position almost hitting someone in the foot. But the red armor guy was soon blown up from a 105mm shell.

Time skip to morning....

Ethan, Manfred, Alex, and Timothy were looking around the battlefield checking to see how many had died and survived. 

"So how many were killed this time?" Ethan asked as he picked up a broken bow and threw it.

"It was estimated that around 60,000 were killed." Timothy replied. "Add that to the amount that died already and that makes a total of 110,000 died."

"This isn't a war its a massacre." Alex said. "Who sends their own troops to just die?"

"Whatever the reason, they deserve it." Manfred said as he took a drink from his flask. "I still hate them for what they did."

Meanwhile at the Imperial Palace....

"Your saying to use Scorch earth on the villages between here and Alnus?" Marquess asked the Emperor.

"Yes that will the enemy vulnerable to attack." Emperor Molt said. "Besides our Neighbor isn't a threat anymore and leave the city Italica alone."

"I see." Marquess said.

"Your highness." A voice said.

Princess Pina Co Lada

"My Daughter, what do you need?" Emperor Molt asked.

"Its about Alnus of course and I have learn that the allied army faced terrible defeat." Pina started. "And the Empire Holy ground Alnus hill is occupied by the enemy, what are you doing at this time?"

"Well use this opportunity to take back the hill." Marquess said.

"That will not help us to stop the enemy invasion." Pina stated.

"Pina you are very correct but if we be are ignorant to the enemies at Alnus who occupy the hill." Molt said as he thought for a second. "This is perfect, would you mind I asked you and your order to scout their position?"

"Me?" Pina asked very shocked. "With my order?"

"Of course!" Molt said. "You wanted to prove yourself, now is the time to do it."

"I understand your Majesty." Pina said and walked away.
