Cibophobia
The next couple of days are a blur. Sun and Moon have made right to their promise and have not left you alone besides when you used the bathroom. The brighter half of the pair has since reprimanded you for your stunt but is now back to his happy, needy self.
Speaking of Sun. "Sunshine! I brought something!" Your eyes stare blankly up at the ceiling, being the only thing you can do besides sleep. Your binds have thankfully been reduced to one wrist and one ankle tied to the posts. "Lookie!" Sun bounces onto the end of your bed.
"Oomf," you rattle. The animatronic forcefully lifts you up and turns you around so you're up against his chest. You go to wiggle out, not wanting to be near him, but he loops an arm around your waist, holding you there.
"I found a hairbrush in lost and found! It's about time we fix your hair up and make it look pretty!" You didn't even think about your hair while being here. It's since been knotted and tangled up so badly it looks like a rat's nest. Though you can't really find it inside yourself to care what you look like, let alone your mop of hair.
"Do you want me to brush your hair for you? Oh please let me! I'll be so gentle!" Sun begs, almost beginning to do it anyway. You shrug. You really don't care anymore, your depressive state getting worse by the day. With a pleased whir, Sun starts to brush the ends.
You wince every time he hits a knot, cheeks flushing for the soft apologies and encouraging words for doing so well. While he does that, you tug and scratch at your rope. "..." you huff. You've been trying to tell them you won't jump but they won't take your word.
Not that you would take your word either.
And anytime you ask for them to be taken off, you get a stern talking to. It's eerie how quick Sun can go from being bubbly to downright dead serious. You zone out for while until the bot begins to braid your hair.
"Sosososo lovely, what a pretty Star you are for me...." You shiver at his words. "Oh!" The animatronic pulls his hands away, your braid falling apart when he does. "How spacey of me! It's lunch time! You must be hungry, Dewdrop!"
Your tummy rumbles as you groan. You absolutely do not want to eat. He boops your nose.
Your belly grumbled at the right time, then! Surely, you'll eat if your stomach demands it! He and Moon have been having troubles ever since they tied you up. You always turned your head away from the food they give you.
"I'll be right back!" Sun tells you before diving off the balcony. You glare at the spot he last was and then moan in pain from another ache that travels through your abdomen. It's been a day since you've eaten but you don't want to start now. You refuse to do what they say anymore.
If they won't let you go, jump, or hell, even move around freely, you'll go on your own terms. It's slow, and very painful, but you believe they won't know what's happening until it happens. You move your rope down a bit to scratch again, this time leaving a harsh red line, breaking skin.
"Hey, hey, hey! Stop that!" Sun catches the angry mark you put on yourself as he carries in your food. "What did we say about hurting yourself?" He grabs your wrist in his free hand. "Here, eat your food, I'll go grab the med-kit."
You stare at the meal he placed in front of you. You chug your bottle of water so it'll fill you up and won't make your stomach rumble...hopefully.
Then, you break the sandwich into little pieces before tossing them down into the ball pit. Hopefully, they won't be found for a bit and it'll be blamed on the children.
~~
"I forgot to clip her nails..." Moon growls in the headspace, mostly to himself. You got hurt again and they weren't able to prevent it.
"Just a small scratch, Moonie! I'll take care of it! Make sure you do so as soon as possible, though! Or I could if you'd like?"
"No...I want to do it..." Sun nods his head and pulls out what he was looking for.
When they return, your sandwich is gone! "Oh, Sunshine! I'm so glad you ate!" You nod at him. Moon metaphorically narrows his eyes. The look on your face screams guilt but he doesn't know why, so he tells Sunny about it. Sun acknowledges it but returns to the task at hand. "Here, sweet thing, lemme see your wrist.
You begrudgingly hand it over. The amount of gentleness he holds it with is nothing new, but it keeps making you feel things you wish you didn't. You feel cared for in a twisted way. Something you never really experienced.
You recoil at a sudden sting, "Ah!" You instinctively pull your arm away but Sunny holds on tight, continuing to dab alcohol onto your scratch.
"All, done! You did so well!" You look away. Since it's the weekend, the daycare is closed and that means Sun won't be leaving your side until tonight when Moon comes out. All day the Sun has been wanting to play games and all day you have been tiredly declining.
You sigh at his fifteenth attempt at asking you to play cards. "Don't you have anything else to do?"
"Not today, Sunshine! Besides, I lovelovelove spending time with you! Come on, choose something, Dewdrop! We gotta play something!" You glare at him. There's nothing to do besides children's games!
Another ache punishes your insides. You hold your tummy with both hands, making sure Sunny doesn't see. He's too busy in the other room looking for games anyhow. You hurt, but you refuse to eat. You should sleep. That way you don't feel the pain and you can make time go by faster.
You nod your head to yourself, plan made up, as Sun crawls back. "I found Monopoly!" He happily holds the game up to his face, blowing some dust off the top. You stare at him and the game disdainfully, clenching your fists. You make sure to push your nails into your palms to feel the pinch.
"I wanna go to sleep..." you say through clenched teeth. You don't want to cause an outburst, but you also don't want to sugarcoat anything to spare his feelings. Sun's arms droop and he pouts. You stare him down, daring him to try to make you.
"No matter!" He smiles again, hopping over to you. You crawl backwards, wondering what he thinks he's doing. He dives under the covers, making you scooch all the way to the wall.
"Hey!" You try pushing him out but he doesn't budge. You freeze as his arms wrap around your waist, pulling you close to him and becoming the little spoon. "Sun!" You wiggle, embarrassed at the position.
"If you don't want to play with me, then we cuddle!" he explains, nuzzling his face in your neck. You struggle in his grasp again until you feel a pinch on your neck. You stop. What was that? You do it again. Nip. You go rigid. He's-he's nibbling on your neck!
"Sun!" you let out a long whine, cheeks darkened.
He hums, then chuckles lowly, "You're so cute, Dewdrop..." He feels you shiver, drinking up the reactions he pulls from you. You whine again and push your face against the bed, trying to ignore him. He doesn't stop his onslaught of nuzzling though.
~~~
You wake up to the strange sound of clipping. Groggily, you roll over and only now notice one of your hands being held hostage. You almost shriek at the sight. Moon, sitting in the darkness of your room, holding up your hand as he clips your nails one by one.
You go to rip your hand away but his grip on you is too tight. His eyes flicker to you for a moment before going back. "Almost done, Starlight..." You huff and let him finish, looking down at your other hand and noticing it already being done. How did you not wake up to the first hand? "There we go...nice, shortened nails. No longer sharp enough to puncture your palms..."
He gives you a pointed look. Oh, he saw your palms. Great. "Just...something I do when I'm upset..." you mumble with a frown.
"Something you did, Star. You need to stop. You won't like it if I catch you hurting yourself again, okay?"
Feeling ornery, you bite back. "Yeah? What'll you do if I just keep doing it? Patch me up? Tell me to stop again?" You get cut off by the body of a large animatronic towering over you. You gulp at the sight. His hands and legs are on either side of you, caging you in.
"We'll bind you until you cannot move..." He grins, "We'll have to do everything for you. Feed you, take you to the bathroom. You won't be able to do anything...Hmmm, I quite like the idea of you being so vulnerable, unable to do anything for yourself. Like a little doll we can take care of..." You can only stare up at him in horror. He giggles. "Yes, even Sunny enjoys the idea..."
"No, no, no!" you plead, shaking your head frantically.
He ignores you and continues. "I'll force a Moondrop into your mouth and make you sleep the day away as we work. No distractions until we can come back. No ideas to plan in your head...Yes you'll be such a good girl for us while tied up..."
"Okay! Okay!" you cry, "I get it, okay! I'll stop! I'll stop hurting myself!" You don't really have anything to do so with, but just the thought of going through what Moon is saying is making you scared enough to not do it anymore.
"Mmmm," he leans forward, startling you. "I'm glad, Starling... Though I'm not opposed to taking care of you in such ways..." he coos, rubbing your face with his. You almost scream at the feeling of something wet trailing up your cheek. You stare in horror as he lifts his face enough for you to see a long tongue hanging from his opened smile.
"Wh-what the f-" His hand covers your lips before you can curse.
"Language, Starlight..." he giggles and your eyes follow the appendage as it slithers back into his mouth. He runs a finger down your cheek. "You're speechless, Dear...See something you like?" You turn away in embarrassment.
He cackles at your reaction. So cute. He pushes your body over so he can lie beside you. He feels you stiffen up but continues to grab hold of your waist with one arm. With his other, it roams around, up and down your sides in a gentle tickle.
Though uncomfortable by the motion, the feeling helps you fall asleep faster than ever.
~~~
A week. It's been a week since you've started tossing out your sandwiches and downing bottles of water and boy is your body feeling it. You're constantly cold, causing you to always bundle up in a blanket or two to stop the shivers that wrack your body.
You're dizzy a lot, something Sun and Moon seem to be keenly aware of, and you want to do nothing but sleep the days away.
"I don't understand, Moonie!" Sun speaks to his brother. "She's lost a concerning amount of weight but she's been eating and drinking!"
Moon growls within. He researches and wracks his mind for what could be ailing you and causing your dizziness and lethargy. "Maybe she needs more vitamins..."
Sun wrings his hands nervously but stops when a kid looks at him doing it. "But-but I don't think we have access to any of those!"
While Sun rambles, Moon thinks back from before. Your look of guilt when Sun praised you for eating. It's been something that has been bugging him. "Sun, shut up for a second." His sunny counterpart does what he says, waiting for him to continue curiously. "You've been finding bread in the ball pit, correct?"
Sun groans at the memory. "Yes! Some rulebreaker must not be liking their lunch for lunchtime! I'm unsure who's doing it, though..."
If Moon had blood, he feels as if it could boil at the rising anger he's feeling. "Give Dewdrop her lunch, now."
"Huh? Well, okay. It's not time, but I'm sure she'll appreciate it! She says she's been loving the sandwiches I make for her!" Sun happily gets up to deliver your food, mumbling, "So sweetsweetsweet..."
"No, give her her reward for being so good for us."
If Moon's suspicious are correct. You're in big trouble.
~~
You lie in bed, just like every other day, and stare blankly at the ceiling. Your body is in so much pain that even rolling over aches your hips and groin. Your eyes droop even though you're not exactly tired.
"Good afternoon, my Sunlight!" You flinch at the Sun's loud greeting. Shoot, you didn't think it was lunch time yet. "Oh, Honey, you look awful. How do you feel?" You lean into his warm hand against your clammy forehead.
"M'fine, Sun. It's probably just a cold..." You're thankful the water you've been religiously drinking help keeps you alert and 'alive' for as long as this'll take. If not, you probably would've been found out a while ago.
"Yes, yes, you wouldn't purposely hurt yourself just like you said, right, Lovely?" The way he says this makes you freeze. He doesn't know, does he?
You let out a weak chuckle. "R-right. I said I wouldn't..." He pats your head and places your lunch in front of you. It's...a slice of pizza? and a Fizzy Faz. "Um...Don't I usually get sandwiches and water?"
"Mhm! But since you've been doing so well and not feeling so good, Moon thought you should eat something different!"
Oh no.
Oh nonononononono.
Moon knows.
He knows.
"Th-thanks..." you hope your voice didn't tremble too much.
"I have to get back down there. Be good, okay? Enjoy your lunch!" With that, he leaves you to your greasy meal. You know for a fact if you drink this soda you'll get sick from the sugar. Not to mention the pizza you know you won't be able to stomach.
But the children don't get pizza for lunch. There's no way you could dispose of it into the ball pit. With no other option, you take a nibble from the tip of the slice. You continue to do this all the while clenching your stomach until the whole thing is gone.
You feel like you're going to throw up. But you can't just call out for Sun. You'd get in huge trouble if the kids heard you. You just have to hang on until the day is over.
~~
Just like he thought. Today, after lunch, there were no crumpled up bread pieces in the ball pit.
Moon comes up at nap time to find you curled up on your side while groaning in pain. He tsks, eyeing the empty plate before sitting next to you. He rubs your back and grabs the untouched can of Fizzy Faz. "Starlight, you need to drink something."
You turn and ask, "Could I get some water?"
The smile he gives you is only something you can describe as sinister. "No, no, this is your reward, Dear. You should drink it. It'll give you some energy. Help you move around more." He becomes more stern. "You don't want to refuse a reward, do you?"
You don't answer, earning a growl and a hiss of the can opening. He puts it up to your lips, but you hold them together tight. "Come now, Starlight. Let me help you drink..." He squishes your cheeks together until he has an opening, pouring in the sugary, and citrus-y concoction.
You splutter and gasp, swallowing it down as he continues to fill your cheeks up. He doesn't let up until you're coughing for air. The effects are immediate and you quickly scramble out of bed to throw up the contents from your stomach.
Moon watches you with lidded eyes. Sun whines in his head to get him to comfort you but he stays apathetic, knowing you need to learn. "You think I don't know what you're doing, Star?"
You heave, eyes not leaving his red ones as they bore into you.
"You think starving yourself is the way to go about this? Do you know how much it hurts us to see you waste away like this? You promised you wouldn't hurt yourself yet look what you're doing."
"I didn't promise," you spit, wiping your mouth. In one quick move, a hand is tightened around your neck and you're pushed against the floor.
"Well, now you will." Moon grins, his grip hardening just enough to make you light-headed. "You've made yourself so weak that I could do anything to you and you wouldn't be able to stop me. But what should your punishment be? Hmm?"
You try to take deep breaths to no avail as long as his fingers squeeze your neck. You begin wheezing as he makes a show of thinking to himself. He looks back down at you. The rapid beat of your heart fuels him.
"Hmm...I guess Sunny and I will just have to force feed you from now on, yes? You'll regain your weight in no time. Don't worry, my precious Star, we'll take care of you, just like we promised..."
Those were the last words you hear before passing out.
~~
You feel grossly bloated constantly. Sun, but mostly Moon, continues to hand feed you until your skin becomes healthy and the bags under your eyes are gone. After you're feeling and looking better, you attempt to ask if they would stop babying and feeding you.
"Why would we do that, Sweetness? You're so adorable when we feed you. Plus, we wouldn't want you to starve yourself again. No, no, no! We will continue to feed you! Be a good girl and open up!"
The last time you refused to open your mouth to eat, Sun had forced the food into your mouth and pinched your nose so you would swallow. Not wanting to endure that again, you do as he says. Out of the two, Moon has the sick satisfaction from watching you squirm in his lap as he forces you to eat and drink.
They have removed all sense of independence from you and you only have yourself to blame.
