Surbhi's POV

I was in a peaceful lumber when alarm rang. Whose alarm is this. I didn't put any alarm yesterday.

"Surbhi wake up" came a voice

"Surbhii" came a voice a bit louder this time.

"God. Awake." I said finally opening my eyes.

That's when I realized I'm not in Indore.

"Morning Surbhi" said Neeti di

"Morning di..." I replied

"Okay so there's a message for you. " said di

"What" I asked

"Read it yourself " Said di and handed me a note.

A handwritten note and I know whose handwriting is this.

Morning Sweetheart. I know I'm making you wait for a long and you're not liking it. But No More wait Love!! You'll come to know where you are. It's just as you've waited so long so just an hour more. I hope you'll like the surprise waiting for you.

I smiled reading his note.

"He's mad" I said

"Yeah. Just for you. You know Surbhi. I'm sure you gonna love it"  di told

"I'll love it. I know. After all it's my love's choice" I bluffed

"Yeah yeah. Now take this and Open it." Said di

"Yeah. " I said and opened the box.

"Wow. It's beautiful " said di

"Yeah. Simple yet amazing. Just as I want my clothes to be" I replied and di nodded

"Okay fine now go. Bath and get ready soon" said di

I nodded and went inside bathroom.
I got ready with his gift and till then di was also ready.

"Beautiful!! Ready to go" Asked di

"Very much" I said and chuckled

Di called jiju and blindfolded me again

"God. Di...that's last time" I said

"It's last time...maybe" di told and chuckled

I was taken out of the hotel and was made to sit in the car. It was some 20-25 minutes after which car stopped.

"Are we there? " I asked

"Patience Surbhi. We're here but you know don't shout at all. Your all in laws are here" said jiju and laughed joined by di

"You're scaring me as if they're ghosts" I asked

"Okay fine. Your blindfold will be opened in two minutes. Step out the car first"  di told

I stepped out of the car and as soon as I stepped out drums and clarinet started playing.

"Di open it na. Please. I'm eager to see.." I whined

"Patience" Said Jiju

I was made to stand some where.

" They're treating me as if I'm the Queen who came to her palace. " I said and di chuckled

"Okay one...two...three..." came lots of voices together and my blindfold was finally opened.

I opened my eyes slowly and.....

"Oh my God.." I whispered as they were the only words which came out of my mouth.

Flowers were already being showered on me. I couldn't take my eyes off.

"Is this for real di.." I asked as I couldn't believe it.

I mean of course it's possible but when a dream come true.. you can't believe it in once right!!

"Yes Surbhi. This is for real. And right now You are The queen of this palace" said di.

The drums and clarinet were still being played.

And then suddenly it stopped. I looked up and there was...My Prince charming standing with his hands in his trousers and giving me his million dollar smile.

"Welcome to the palace Queen" He said and I chuckled.

One woman in her traditional attire came in front with a plate and put tilak on my forehead and made me wear a garland.

"Oberoi Udaivillas welcomes the Queen " she welcomed

"Thankyou so much" I said smiling.

Yes!!! That was it. Udaivillas, Udaipur.

One of the finest destination for a royal wedding.

 The picturesque mesmerized me completely.

God!!! Udaipur!!!

A DREAM COME TRUE !!!

OBEROI UDAIVILLAS, UDAIPUR (INDIA)

Everyone was standing there. Both the families. Around hundred plus people. Every face that I know was looking at me in awe. Our parents were standing there smiling....Anjali was looking at me smiling widely... Priya... Aanand..uncle.. aunty...Divya di...jiju everyone was looking at me.

"Oo drum man.... start the beat again bro. My lovely sister in law has come" said Meet coming forward and smiled.

The drums started beating again.

Everyone made me and Mahir stand in center and they danced around us on drum beats.

"Thankyou so much Mahir.You really made me feel like the queen." I said a bit loud so that he can listen in all the sound.

"How couldn't I when someone said me that she want to feel like the princess on her wedding day and she wants a place like some palace. Some old beautiful spot or a view just like a palace" He said in my ears.

That's when I remembered what I said him in Priya and Aanand's wedding.

"You remembered it" I asked smiling

"Each and every word baby" he said and I smiled

"Thankyou. Thankyou very much. It was worth waiting" I replied

"Nope.The worth waiting is still on the way" he said

"What do you mean" I asked confusingly

"Some more patience Surbhi. I can't take you away from all them right now otherwise they would think The bride and the groom ran away" He said and I chuckled

"One minute stop guys" stopped Meet

"What happened Meet" Asked mom

"Aunty. See them busy in themselves only. Lovey dovey love birds. Bro..spare her atleast for now. She would be coming home only" He said and everyone chuckled

"Surbhi.. Mahir...come on guys enjoy and dance with us" said Anjali and made us dance a little.

"Okay. Enough children. Now let's have breakfast . The rituals have to be started in noon so just go and have breakfast there. Surbhi, Mahir you both also come" Stated dad and we nodded

"Sir this way towards Surya Mahal. The breakfast is arranged there" guided the event manager.

We nodded at went there.

Surya Mahal was really amazing. This spot was made for lunch and breakfast specially. Soothing place.

"You're looking beautiful in this" He said and I smiled locking my hair strand behind the ear

"Are we going to be surrounded by everyone like this only" asked Mahir
taking his seat and I chuckled

"of course Mr. Groom" I said

"Fine. Let's have breakfast. " He told and I nodded.

" Mahir tell me na.. Please..is there any other Surprise. I'm dying out of curiosity" I said frowning.

"Actually.... Yes. One more surprise. That's it..may be" He told

"Again may be. Ugh, Tell me na please " I whined and he chuckled

" Divya di. Come here na please " Called Mahir

" Yes what happened. Do you want anything" asked di

"She wants to know other surprise" He said

"Patience Surbhi. " She told and chuckled

" That's not fair. Everyone knows everything except me" I whined and they both chuckled

"Mahir. Do one thing. Now after rituals will be started you both won't be allowed to go anywhere together till wedding day. So do one thing after breakfast get ready in your attire and take her to another Surprise. " Told di winking

" Take her means. Isn't it here only " I asked.

What's Happening here. I was not able to think anything.

" Let's dig in our breakfast first Surbhi " Mahir said and I nodded.

Well!! Keeping all this beside I think I'm the luckiest one to have him.

 After all he's making me smile every other moment. And I'm sure the surprise waiting for me will be containing another smiles in it.

MAHIR' POV

After Surbhi messaged me last night we were also all ready to go. Me.. Mom.. Dad.. Meet and Anjali flew in our private jet. Anjali was not ready to come first. She said that she would accompany us there only but I insisted her to come... And Meet too!!

Anjali's parents will be coming on the sangeet night!

Neeti di and Aneer jiju did as I said.

All our relatives and close friends would be staying here only... But our parents, Divya di-Raj Jiju, Neeti di-Aneer Jiju Deepak bhaiya-Keerti bhabhi and Meet, Anjali and of course Me and Surbhi... Aren't staying there.

Well that's the another Surprise for her. I chose Udaipur as Rajasthan is a great historical place and full of royality. The number of palaces and forts that Rajasthan have is splendid.

 And of course my Queen wanted to feel royal on her wedding day then how would I not do so. I know I made her wait very long.

But I want her to live every moment of it such that she wouldn't be able to forget even a second of all this ever. Her face showed that how much she loved the first surprise.

God!! She was so happy here only so how much happy she'll be when she'll see another Surprise.

We were having our breakfast surrounded by our relatives and friends.

" Mahir... Thankyou so much" said Surbhi

"for what " I asked

" For... Everything that you've done and you're going to do for me" she told

"Phew... Okay so now you'll not say me thankyou again. It looks as if I'm doing any favor on you which I'm not. I'm doing it for us. Because when you smile... I smile. So now no thankyou and well you know me and your dad both rested upon the same place" I said and she smiled

" Okay fine" she told

"well.. Instead for every thankyou you can say I love You" I said winking.

"Mahir.  " She told whispering

" So what. I don't have any problem. " I smirked

" Idiot " She said and I laughed

" Sir.. Mam..you've been called by your parents " Said one of the member of event management

" Yeah coming" I told and we both went to them after completing breakfast.

"Surbhi, Mahir.. Ganesh Pooja and Geet have already been performed in Indore.

Now today it's your Haldi " said mom

{Haldi is an ritual in Which Turmeric and sandalwood paste is applied to the bride and groom. An important part of the wedding after which they are not allowed to leave the house or their respective place till the wedding day.}

" We'll be starting it sharp at the auspicious time that is 4 pm. Till then get ready and enjoy but we want you both at the respective place at sharp 4.Not a single minute here and there " warned Surbhi's dad and we nodded.

" Papa. May we both go at that place right now. After all we all have to go there only" I said

"Where "Surbhi asked

" You'll come to know Surbhi. Yes Mahir. You both go there only. We'll meet you there now."  mom replied and I nodded

" Come. " I said and she nodded

" Will you tell me where " she asked

" Sush..no questions. Neeti diii!!" I called

"Yes Mahir " she said coming towards us.

" Blindfold" I told and smirked

"what... No di. Mahir please. Not again" Surbhi whined

"One last time please " said Di & Surbhi sighed.

" Fine. Do" she replied and I smiled widely.

"I think for seeing this smile a blindfold is very small thing" Surbhi said and I smiled again

"Thankyou love" I replied

"okay di. See you there" I said and di smiled

"Enjoy Surbhi "  di exclaimed and she smiled

" Surbhi stay here only. I'm coming in two minutes" I said and went to event manager

"I'm going there. So send your makeup and dressing team there only and see before 4 we both have to be ready" I told

"Don't worry sir. You proceed. Dressing team is already there and decorations have been also done there" she said. I nodded and went to Surbhi.

I took her to the car and made her sit comfortably.

The driver drove us to our destination. I smiled looking the surrounding. When she'll see it.. She'll be the happiest one.

The car stopped near the place.

"We reached. Shall I open my blindfold " asked Surbhi

" Patience Surbhi " I said and made her come out the car.

" Okay. I'm opening it" I announced and opened her blindfold. She slowly opened her eyes too...And As soon as she turned towards my side she was shocked.

Yes!!! That was the reaction which I thought of.

She covered her mouth by her hands in excitement and her eyes grew bigger.

" Is this where our functions are taking place" she gasped and I nodded and next thing I know was she hugged me tightly in excitement.

"Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god.!!!!! MAHIR..... I LOVE YOUUU so much... " She shouted so loudly and I chuckled.

Some visitors were seeing us and smiling.

" You liked it" I asked

"I loved it Mahir. What more can Anyone else want then their marriage in City Palace Udaipur " she said excited like a child.

CITY PALACE, UDAIPUR (INDIA)

I kissed her forehead and smiled.

" Well. We'll takes vows anywhere else" I said.

"Where." She asked

"Come I'll show you " I told and took her to the back side of the city palace.
Her excitement was all over her face which glowed bright.

" One minute. That's Taj Fateh Palace. Why you took me here" she asked and I smiled

"Our all the pre-wedding functions are going to take place here only. " I said and she looked at me shocked

" You mean we're going to live in city palace complex for next days" she asked and I nodded

"You know what. I really feel like the Queen of World " She said clapping her hands

" Oh hello!!! You're my queen okay " I told and she closed her eyes in excitement

" Oops. Sorry. I just became over excited " she chuckled and I smiled

TAJ FATEH PALACE (Inside city palace complex)

" Let's go inside" I chirped and she nodded but as we were to move inside she stopped me.

"Mahir. One minute " She stopped

"What happened Surbhi" I asked

"You just now said.. Our pre-wedding rituals will take place here. Are we going to take vows in Oberoi Udaivillas only " she asked and I smiled

" Actually.. And honestly that's my planned Surprise " I said looking at her.

" God!!! Mahir. Will you please explain it all at once. I'm going maaaaad" She freaked and this time loud.

Thank God this area has been restricted till our wedding otherwise people would've given us looks.

"See what happened was I chose a very beautiful place for our wedding. Well Udaipur itself is the most beautiful place but I wanted best in Udaipur. We have 200-250 guests right now including both our dad's and ours very very close family and close friends. But the place which I chose had only sixty rooms so it wasn't possible. So I had to choose one place. So both dad and I chose Udaivillas for all the guests." I said and she was listening to me as if I'm telling her any crime scene.

My idiot girl!!!

"So why we came here " she asked

" Because I wanted to take a place near the main destination" I said

"So city palace is the main destination that's why we booked Taj Fateh palace " She asked

" No... It's near the destination and the only nearest way to reach the destination. Then I thought if we're here then why not to perform all the pre-wedding functions here in city palace complex only. And everyone at home loved this idea. And honestly your dad loved this idea so much" I said and she smiled

"So... Mahir... Will you please tell me where we're going to take our vows. " She asked controlling to strangle me for creating so much suspense.

"I'll not tell you... I'll show you" I said and she looked at me confusingly.

"Baby.. Turn around and see what you see" I asked and she turned to her back.

"What... It's just Pichola Lake " she said.

" You Don't see anything else" I asked lifting my eyebrows.

"What. It's just Lake inside which there's Jag Mandir palace and Taj Lake Palace" She said casually and looked to me.

" One minute.... Taj Lake Palace...Are We Taking Vows There" she asked  focusing on every word she said and I nodded.

"You serious Mahir. " She asked again

" Damn serious." I replied and she immediately hugged me.

"You know you're making my dreams come true Mahir" She screamed out of happiness and I smiled and hugged her back.

"Your dreams are mine now Surbhi !! " I said and looked at her.

" Hey. What's this. Why are you crying " I asked

" Tears of happiness. When anything unexpected happens. When someone makes you feel so  blessed" She said and I wiped her tear.

"Idiot.I love you." I admitted 

"I love you to the moon and back and much much much more" She said

"Want to come there" I asked

"Right now. Won't we be late . You remember what dad said " She reminded

" Yeah one minute " I said and called the event Manger.

" Connect call to your dressing team. I want to talk" I said on the call and she connected the call.

"How much time will it take to Dress up Surbhi today. " I asked

" Sir it won't take much time. Hardly one hour" she replied

"Okay. It's twelve. She'll meet you at 2:30 in her suite here only" I said and cut the call

"What happened " Surbhi asked

" We've much time. Come let's see" I said

"I've already seen it. I've visited here with family. " She told

" I know but today it's with me" I said and she smiled.

She held my hand and gestured me to proceed.
We went to the boat and they took us there.

TAJ LAKE PALACE, Udaipur

"Wow... It's spellbound. It's amazing Mahir" She said looking at the palace while stepping inside

"Yeah amazing and spellbound as always" I told looking at her.

Her face glowed like gold with this brightening sunlight falling on her face.

The best thing is.. today I don't have to shift my eyes anywhere else because she know what I mean.

"I said about the Palace Mahir" she said and looked down shyly

"And I said To the Queen of My Palace" I replied and this time she looked away smiling.

The boatman also smiled looking at us.

"Welcome Mr. Maheshwari and Ms. Surbhi. " welcomed the manager and I nodded.

" Let's have lunch Surbhi. Dad told to have lunch too. We'll not get time afterwards" I told and she nodded

"Sir, mam!  come with me. I'll show you the place " guided the manager and we followed him.

" It's beautiful Mahir. Much more beautiful then last time. You know when we came last time I was teenager and we did our lunch there" she told pointing to a place.

"Sir.. Mam.. You sit comfortably and order whatever you like " said The Manager and sent a waiter.

 We took a seat at corner from where Lake was easily visible.

" What you'll have Sir and madam" asked waiter

"Rajasthani thali " I said and Waiter went nodding

" We ordered same last time" Surbhi told and I smiled

Soon our food came and we ate it. Surbhi loves nature and that I've noticed every time.

 As now also she has forget everything around. Just she.. her food and nature.

"Sir your skimmed buttermilk " said waiter and I nodded

"Surbhi take this" I said and she nodded

She picked her glass and started gulping it.

When she put her glass down I saw her and I laughed.

"What" she asked and I showed her phone's screen.

"Oops..." She said and I smiled

I took out a tissue paper from stand and wiped her mouth.

"Sixties Surbhi" I mumbled and she smiled.

"I thought you might have forget that too" she told

"Never. " I said and smiled

"Okay let's go back. It's two" she said and I nodded

"You liked it? " I Asked

"I Loved it Mahir and I can't dream of anything better. " She replied.

We reached city palace complex back.

"Hmm...okay now come let's move inside. Go to your suite. Get ready and let's rock " I said and she laughed.

I held her hand and We went inside.

"Welcome Mr.Maheshwari and Ms.Birla . " Wished the manager of Taj Palace.

"Keys of mine and Surbhi's suite." I asked and he handed me two keys

"Mam. Shall we. Your luggage have already been placed in your suite. " asked the girl of dressing team.
Surbhi nodded and I left her hand.

"See you soon " I said and smiled

"Soon at Haldi" she replied and we both headed towards our room.

I too got ready in my haldi outfit and was all set to go.

How Surbhi might be looking. She must be looking so gorgeous.

Come on Mahir. She always looks beautiful.

"Mahir. Are your ready. Everyone is here " came Aanand's voice.

"Yeah coming. " I told and went outside.

"Wow. Handsome dude" He complimented and I smiled

We went to the roof top where Haldi function would take place.

"See our groom came" said one of the relative

"Whoaaa...handsome man. Where's your to be bride " Asked Divya di

"She's here " came Anjali's voice

I looked at the entrance.

"Beautiful " I exclaimed

"We know" came voices from my back and they started laughing.

"Come. It's 4:00 pm. Let's start the ceremony." Said mummy

"You look so good Mahir" said Surbhi and I smiled

"And you look very beautiful " I complimented she blushed.

MAHIR'S HALDI OUTFIT

We both were made to sit on our places and one by one everyone applied that turmeric-Sandalwood paste to us.

"Glow like this forever Surbhi " said mom and smiled while applying turmeric paste to Surbhi

"And what about me mom" I asked and she smiled.

She applied it to me and looked at Surbhi

"The glow of her face should never lessen due to you. It's your duty to make her glow from inside" Said mom and I smiled

"I promise. Her glow will never be affected in any bad way due to me...and if anytime it happens by mistake ever , you scold me and teach me " I replied and mom ruffled my hairs.

Surbhi's mom came and applied her the paste. She already had tears in her eyes.
Surbhi smiled and wiped her tears.

"Be happy and fill everyone's life with happiness and prosperity" said her mother in heavy voice.

Surbhi looked at her teary eyed and nodded. I held her hand and gestured her not to cry. She smiled and nodded.

A tear was going to fall from her right eye when I slid my hand and It fell on my hand. I wiped her tear and mummy looked at me smiling.

She then applied the paste to my face.

"Be happy and never let this smile go off your face son." She said and I smiled.

Surbhi is really the exact copy of her mother.

"I'll not let this smile go off mummy....and you don't let this smile go off your face because your smile is everyone's happiness. Thankyou for giving me Surbhi. You know She's your copy" I thanked her and she smiled.

"Okay okay. No more senty talks, otherwise We will cry before vidai guys" said Deepak bhaiya and we chuckled

"That's my turn now" said Aanand and dipped his hands into paste

"No..idiot...its not Holi( festival of colors) " I Shouted and everyone laughed.

"You did the same bro. And I said you that your day will also come and It's the day!!!" He shouted in joy and applied that wildly on my face.

And same happened with Surbhi. We all were soon with yellow faces.

Anjali applied it on her whole face and we both laughed looking at each other's faces.

I removed some paste from my face and applied it to her nose.

"Happy Haldi love. I promise to fill your life with colors, Happiness, smiles, laughter, hopes and love just like this."I said.

She smiled and removed some paste from her cheek and applied it to my cheek.

"I wish the same and I too promise to fill your life with colors of happiness love, prosperity and good fortune " She told

"You've already filled my life with love and happiness and all these" I replied and she smiled.

Photographers already took our candid pics in whole function and then more pics were clicked with props and families!

Soon the songs started and everyone started dancing on beats.

Meet and Anjali took us too and made us dance. It was damn fun!!! We all were thrown into pool also and it was damn fun!!

It was 7 pm when function got over.

"Now you both go and have bath and come for dinner. Okay " said our parents.

All the relatives went back to Oberoi Udaivillas and we came back to our suite.

"Pheeww!! Now I come to know why marriages are so hectic " I told and Surbhi chuckled

"That's just starting " she replied

"Surbhi lets run away and marry" I suggested and she laughed

"Idiot" She chuckled

"Okay now , Go. Have bath. We all will meet for dinner okay" I said and she nodded

We all met for dinner and after dinner we bid goodnight and came back to our suites. 

I was a little tired but honestly more excited. Excited for tomorrow. I pulled out my phone from charging and called Surbhi.

"Hey!" I said

"Hmm" she replied

"Were you sleeping" I asked

"No just changed into night wear." She told

"Hmm..How was today " I asked

"One of the most memorable day of my life. Thanks a ton for making everything so special " she said

"Anything for you. Okay now take rest. Tomorrow's going to be a more hectic day" I replied

"Yeah. Two functions in a day" She said

"Yes. You'll stay alone in room or should I come there" I asked chuckling

"Shutup. I'm not a two year old kid" she said and I laughed

"You are Surbhi " I told

"Fine. But why will I call you. I'll call Neeti di or Keerti bhabhi " she said

"Fine. But seriously if you aren't able to sleep , call anyone. Okay" I told

"Yeah. Don't worry. I think you don't remember that I've Anjali with me. " she replied

"Oh yeah!! I Just forget. Okay.Good night. Take care" I said

"Yeah. Good night. I love you " She replied

"I love you two..three..four.. hundred... Infinite times baby" I said she laughed and cut the call.

Life has been so good.

That life which I never wanted to live has today become the life which I want to live forever with Her.

And I'm going to live it with her...for her.

 After all rebirth of Mahir is a gift from her.

That debt which I can't ever pay back.

Thankyou Surbhi for coming in my life.

Thankyou for making this life alive .

Thankyou for making me believe, trust, smile .

 And thankyou for making me able to love.

I love you till eternity Surbhi!!
