Surbhi's POV

I blinked my eyes when light came on my face. I opened my eyes and turned to my side.

Pheww!! How much I love to see this face in the morning!! Don't know how but he's able to look so ravishingly hot even in his simple white kurta and payjamas.

Yes!! This man wears his white or black chikankari kurta as nightwear. His love for them is amazing!!!

Well,honestly I adore him a lot in this.

I smiled and kissed his cheek.

One minute, did he smile?

No idiot!! He's sleeping!!!

I woke up from the bed and as soon as I was about to move I was pulled back and I fell on a hard chest!!

"Ouch, mummaa!!" I shrieked while he looked at me smirking.

"Whaat.. You were again awake right"I asked and he smirked more

" What do you think baaaby" He said and kissed my cheeks.

"Whaaatt" I whined

"Returning a favor. You know, you were taking my advantage while I was sleeping." he faked and smirked

"First thing..you weren't slept okay and secondly.. I didn't take any advantage. I've all the rights to kiss my husband" I smirked back

"Great...then I too have the same" he said and was just going to pull me into kiss when I stopped him and he groaned in irritation.

"Whaaattt" he said frowning

"Morning breath Mahir..I don't want bacteria to enter my mouth. Go and brush your teeth" I told

"Seriously! Like seriously. Here I was in a so damn good mood and you're doing this" he said and frowned while I laughed.

"Shut up and leave me. Let me go." I said and was about to stand up when he again pulled me.

"Maahirr..what" I shrieked

"What..I'm in a good mood of romance" He whispered and I put my hand on forehead at his behavior.

"Oh God..what should I do of you" I said

"I'm all yours. You can do whatever you like" He replied looking into my eyes and I blushed looking down.

"Ehmm.. thinking something...of doing with me" He asked and I looked at him.

"Nothing....now if you are done with your cheesiness can I go and have bath. That's our last day in Venice" I said frowning and he smiled leaving me.

"We'll be here for two more days" he told and I looked at me.

"We're leaving tomorrow. Our flight is booked right" I asked

"Yes..but we'll cancel them and will go afterwards" he replied

"No..no..no everyone will be waiting for us" I said

"No one's. I don't know why but I already cancelled tickets and informed at home" He told and I looked at him shocked

"Whaatt..whyy" I shouted

"I don't know. I just felt to spend a day more here" He whined and I looked at him

"You surely have some plan right" I asked and he looked at me

"Why Should I Tell You" He replied

"It means you have" I said and he smirked

"Yes I have but I'll not tell what" he said and I frowned

"Please" I pleaded

"Don't ask Surbhi. I won't" He said

"Ple"

"No"

"Please"

"No"

"Pleaaaseeee" I said

"Noooooooo" he replied and I frowned

"Fine don't." I said and he grinned with a victory smile.

"That's like my baby. But now please Surbhi stop thinking about it and let's get ready. We'll visit both Murano and Burano today" he told and I nodded.

We both came out getting ready and I looked at him.

Pheww!! As always hot and cute.

"Wow..you look hot and sexy babe" He complimented pecking my lips and I looked at him

"Feelings mutual sweetheart" I said and winked at him

We did our breakfast and went to our water taxi and were all sat to go to Murano. We reached Murano in 10 minutes.

Mahir stepped out and gave me his hand for help.

We hopped out from there and I saw my surroundings.

"Whoa...it's so peace and amazing here" I exclaimed

"Yeah. It is and it looks good. You know Surbhi Murano is famous for it's glass making" Mahir told and I nodded.

"Yes of course. World's best glass from Murano and what I'm seeing till my sight is ,shops of glass items only" I said and he nodded.

"So come on let's start visiting Muraaanoo" He grinned and I chuckled.

We went to Mazzega Glass factory. Indeed for which this island is famous for!!!

"Wow Mahir..it's so amazing...see how amazingly they're working on glasses and they're making masterpieces" I chirped

"Indeed. But it's really a tough job..." Mahir said and I agree.

"Yes...Mahir...let's buy some of them these are so much amazing" I told excited and he nodded

We saw how perfectly they made a chandelier in front of us.

We went to Mazaaga Glass Shop which had wonderful pieces to exhibit and some rare pieces too.

I've to say Mahir's choice is amazing but this man's hand never goes in something less costly. So we ended up buying Ruby red glass chandelier which costed plenty because it had real gold in it!!!

But I swear, it was breathtakingly beautiful. We also bought some beautiful glass showpieces.

We also saw canals of Murano.
Definitely some of the best things that I've seen. The canals were lined by shops and restaurants.

"Mahir..you know when I made Venice my bucket list,I had this picture saved in my gallery. The same scene..that I'll visit this place which has restaurants and shops lined on canal." I told remembering and he smiled

"You liked it" He asked

"I loved it Mahir..if someone's wishes are coming true then why won't someone love it" I replied and he smiled kissing my cheek.

We went to Campo Santo Stefano.

"Wow Mahir...what's this" I asked

"Mam,this is comet glass star. Its a blue glass starburst sculpture." the guide told and I nodded.

It was so beautiful. Looked as if something from fairy tales!!

Next to it was another bell tower. We saw it and  went to the church Basilica di Santa Maria e San donato.

"God. Is it a name or what" exclaimed Mahir and I chuckled

"It's name.Now let's see inside. There are many people here" I told and he nodded.

"Hey,is there any function inside" Mahir enquired our guide.

"Let me check sir" he said and talked to someone

"Yes sir,someone's marriage is taking place inside the church. We'll come afterwards here" he told

"No..." I spoke

"What,why" Mahir asked

"See Mahir..we can see the architecture inside right now also and let's see the marriage na please." I said and he looked at me.

"Like seriously. You want to see a marriage, and as if you'll understand the language" Mahir told and I frowned

"Why? Can't you tell me what they're saying" I pouted and he smiled

"But baby....okay Fine come" He replied and I excitedly hugged him.

"Yayeee..I love you" I grinned and he chuckled

We saw the church from inside first. It had amazing architecture; Mosaics covering the floor and a beautiful ceiling. We went inside the hall and there were many people. Off course to attend wedding!!!

"Hey Mahir.. The groom's there" I said excitedly pointing to the man standing in his black tuxedo on the aisle.

"Yeah..I saw him but you turn your head there" he told and turned me around. I was amazed to see the one coming towards the aisle.

"The Bride. She's beautiful " I whispered smiling and Mahir nodded.

She was looking gorgeous in her white linen wedding gown with red roses in her hand and her face covered by a long veil. She was in center with her two bridesmaids.

"You know this veil and white dress is the sign of  her purity towards her husband"  Mahir told 

"How do you know" I asked

"I had a business client of US and I attended his wedding, so I know " he said and I nodded.

"I never got a chance. That's the first time I'm witnessing this in my life" I chirped excitedly.

"Heyy....one minute...aren't you..Maaahir Maheshwari" shouted someone that too in English.

"Shit!!!" Whispered Mahir.

"Ohh God..it's Mahir Maheshwari with his newly wedded wife" said the person again and I saw the person was one of the bridesmaid only.

Soon everyone surrounded us.

I didn't know that my husband is this famous without being an actor or singer!

"Hey. Please firstly wedding then anything else. See the groom is waiting on the aisle" I told smiling and they nodded.

"It's so amazing that Mahir Maheshwari and his wife are in our wedding" said the bride smiling and I smiled.

She went to the aisle and Mahir looked at me.

"I didn't know this too can happen in an unknown wedding" he told and I laughed

"Honestly..this time I too didn't. You saw the girl shouted as if she's getting a cardiac arrest " I admitted and we both chuckled.

"Hey..Surbhi.. See it started" said Mahir and we both looked forward.

We saw the Bride and the groom taking wows and Mahir told me what bishop was saying.

We saw the wedding.. Congratulated them and gifted them one of the beautiful glass heart showpiece that we purchased!!

"Wow..it was amazing...you know I just loved it" I said

"You loved it..." He asked and I nodded.

"Why..didn't you?" I asked

"Why I'll not. It was great. But Surbhi in our culture we don't wear white and black on weddings right" Mahir asked.

"Emm...yeah..I mean mom and mummy said me in our marriage  also that my clothes shouldn't be purely white and black." I told and he nodded

"Okay now come. We're getting late" he said and I nodded

Well I love my husband! He's modern yet believes firmly in our culture and ethics!
That's Something I always wanted in my husband!!

"Surbhi...I'm hungry. Let's grab our lunch here only and then we'll leave for Burano" suggested Mahir

"Yeah best idea. Even I was hungry" I told and Mahir smiled.

"Come let's go. The monster inside my stomach is rising" Mahir said and I laughed at this.

We went to Versus Meridianem.

Mahir ordered Vegan bruschetta & vegetarian lasagna.

We had our lunch and moved out of there.

"Maaaahirrr" I called and he looked at me.

"What happened baby" he asked

"Something sweet" I whined and he smirked

"I've the sweetest thing in this world..wanna enjoy here" he said and I hit him playfully.

"Such a jerk you're" I replied and he laughed.

"Well,I was taking you there only. Come" he said and grabbed my hand.

We went to Murano Gelataria which surprisingly had vegan friendly desserts too!! We had our ice creams and went ahead.

We did roam around the island before bidding it a goodbye. It was really a sweet and happy island and the marriage made our visit more amazing!!

We came back to our water taxi and headed towards Burano.

"Whoaa...I'm so excited. It looks much like Murano" I told

"Yeah but it's different" Mahir said

"Yeah..so ready Mr.hubby" I asked and he chuckled.

"Yes Mrs.Wifey!! After you" Mahir said bowing his head dramatically and I laughed.

We went to it Podestà of Torcello
It was the palace of Burano.

"Wow...it's so much beautiful." I exclaimed.

We went inside and went to Museo del Merletto

It was the museum of Burano.

"Mam,Burano Lace is a world-wide famous handmade art and this is Lace Museum of Burano." told the tour guide and I nodded.

We went inside and found all old laces which has made in 15th century in the museum. 

"Mam,There is also a lace school located near the museum" told the Guide

"Wow..really..we can see lace making" I asked excited and he nodded

"What like seriously..that's useless. Will you go India and start your own classes" mocked Mahir and I looked at him

"Whaatt..I want to see it" I whined 

"What Surbhi.. you always do like this" He said frowning and I laughed and kissed his cheek.

"So that was a bait right" He asked and I smirked

"Yess..Mr.husband " I winked and he sighed

"Take us to the lace school"  Mahir told to the guide and I laughed.

We saw the lace school and honestly I was amazed to see all that. I've never seen so beautiful lace dresses and items.

We then went to Tagliapietra Alessandro. 

It was a very famous shop in Burano Island. It was a shop of handmade neckpieces and rings that were made from precious Murano glass.

Mahir chose a ring for me which was of the rare Murano glass embellished with rose cut diamonds.

"It's beautiful" I exclaimed

"Let me make you wear this" He said and I nodded

He slid the ring in one of my fingers and I smiled. Looking at both the ring and Mahir. 

 He's soo sweet!!!

"Mahir Burano is so colorful island" I chirped and he nodded smiling at me.

"Yeah, just like you. Colorful and beautiful " he said pecking my lips and I smiled.

"Surbhiii.. let's hop in there.  The best place" Mahir told pointing to Panificio Costantini

"Yayy...the most famous cakes here. Let's go Maahir" I squeaked and we literally ran into that shop.

People were chuckling at us.

"buona serata signore e signora" said the woman there and I looked at Mahir for help. 

 Till now I only know signore means sir and signora means ma'am. Nothing else!!!!

"She's wishing us good evening. We've to reply with same words " Mahir told and I nodded

"Buona serta" I and Mahir replied.

"Let me ask them what's their best dessert" said Mahir and I nodded

" cosa c'è di meglio vegana qui " asked Mahir

"Signore, provare vegana pasticceria mista " the lady told and Mahir nodded.

Soon she came with something. 

"I really have no idea what's it"  Mahir told and I chuckled

"I know but let's just taste it" I said and he nodded.

We ate it and honestly it was not that bad like the faces we were making looking at it.

We also saw one more bell tower and church and then moved ahead.

We saw Three Bridges Of Burano.
Three Bridges (Tre Ponti)  was a wooden bridge, connecting three canals and three of the most colorful streets of Burano (Giudecca Via, Via San Mauro and Via San Martino Sinistro). It was full of craft shops, small restaurants and many brightly colored houses.

"I'm in love with these colorful houses" I exclaimed and Mahir nodded.

"Really..it looks like what we people are doing..these guys are the one having real fun" said Mahir.

"Mahir, this place is so romantic. Let's click pictures here" I told and he nodded

Honestly firstly we clicked pictures very decently like a couple and then we made all the faces that we could. I was having fun making two horns on Mahir and when he saw it he was running behind me chasing me

We also saw Bepi's house.
It was the most colorful house of the island and honestly looked beautiful!!

"Surbhi, I've one place for you, come let's go there" told Mahir grabbing my hand

"Mahir...I'm tired" I replied and he smiled

"You can rest there baby and right now I'll pick you up" said Mahir ready to pick me up when I denied

"I can walk that much" I chuckled.

We came to a place, I don't know what's this but it was beautiful and solitude was all that I know.

"It's Centro Studi Torcellani. Not much famous but it's good to be away from everyone for sometime" Said Mahir and I nodded

We sat on a bench there and I rested my head on Mahir's shoulder. Some of these addictions are becoming my favorite things to do. Mahir encircled his hand around my waist and pulled me more closer to him.

"I like this way. Stay like this only " he told looking at front only and I smiled looking at him

"And I love this way. Keep me like this only" I replied and he looked at me smiling showing his bright smile and the next I know was I was pulled in a passionate kiss.

We parted away when were out of breath and I looked at him.

"I love you" I admitted

"I know " he replied

"Whaatt...you've to reply" I whined like a child and he chuckled

"I love you much more Sweet heart " he professed kissing my nose and I blushed.

Strange right !! I blush more when he kisses my nose!!

We sat there for sometime. Sun was about to set when the guide came.

"Sir, mam..there's a spot where you can have the best photographs. Let's go there" he told and we nodded following him.

"Mam, sir this is Pescaria Vecia, as is called by the Burano's local people" guide told

"It is perhaps the most loved place" Mahir told looking at the view and people.

"Yeah. Just look at the stunning sunset over the lagoon. It looks so breathtaking " I added and Mahir nodded.

"It's seriously very romantic. Looks like a photoshoot perfect place" said Mahir and I just remembered our pre wedding photo shoot.

 It was a great time!!

We clicked many pics there and hopefully decent pics and then came towards shops.

We went to Atelier Martina Vidal. from where we purchased the most fine quality linen lace dresses for me, Neeti di, Divya di, Priya, Keerti bhabhi and Anjali.

"They would love this. You know we'll wear this on some same day. They're all same. Our squad" I said and Mahir nodded

"I don't know about others but you surely gonna rock in this floor length one piece" told Mahir and I smiled.

It was dark till now and our visit to Burano was also completed.

"Let's go back. Tomorrow morning we've to wake up early because we've to go to Lido beach."  Mahir told and I nodded

"I really enjoyed today Mahir. Thankyou for all these" I admitted and pecked his lips.

We went back to our suite and ate dinner and soon drifted into sleep.

"Surbhi..." said Mahir and I blinked my eyes.

"What.." I asked sleepy

"You know tomorrow you're going to have a really good day" Mahir told and I smiled.

"I always have a very good day when you're beside me. Everyday is a good day for me" I said looking at him but he smiled at me.

"Tomorrow we'll be having a very good day. Good night love" he repeated again and kissing my cheek went to sleep.

I confusingly looked at his face which held a sweet smile like he's really excited for tomorrow.

As I say..no one ever knows what Mahir Mahehwari is upto..but I'm happy because something is making him really happy and I'm happy seeing him happy.
I looked at the time. It was only ten and we were sleeping...

Pheww!! As Mahir said we'll leave early for Lido beach.

Come on Surbhi.  Stop talking to yourself and sleep !!

I hugged my bear who smiled more and drifed into sweet lumber.

Who wants other treasure of life when I've my biggest treasure with me!!!!
