Surbhi's POV

I woke up when my alarm rang.

Shit!!  Why I didn't switch it off yesterday when my exams are over now. It didn't let me sleep... And it's now when I realized that I slept last night in the hope of his message. He didn't message me.

I'm not going to talk with him now.

 I frowned but as soon as I saw his messages, I couldn't resist but just typed him It's okay and A Good Morning text.

 What have happened to me. How much I try to be angry with him but I can't.

Day was passing like this and that busy businessman had no time for even seeing his phone.

Phewww!! In the evening I got a conference call from di and Priya. They were saying me to come on a vacation with them.

"Come on Surbhi Come. We will have a lot of fun. " Priya said

" But Priya you all go and enjoy na. I'll join you some other time. "I told 

" Surbhi. I'm saying you'll come means you'll come" di stated

"But di. I came London when you said so now I don't think.. " I tried to say

" Surbhi. Come on girl don't spoil the excitement. It will be after a so long that we'll be together " Priya whined 

" Yeah and Surbhi. It will be only us close friends. Priya. Aanand.. Aneer me.. You and Mahir " said di.

" What. He's also coming " I blurted

" Yeah. See. Only we people " Priya told

" But Priya.. " I tried to say

" No if and buts Surbhi. I'll talk to Uncle and Aunty" said Priya

"That's not the problem.. They'll be happy if I'll spend my vacation with you people " I told and laughed

" Surbhi one minute. Hold on" said di.

I waited for seconds when I listened my favorite voice.

Ehhh... Di knew that I couldn't deny him.

She played the Mastercard. But I don't know what's the need of a vacations and that too Hamilton.

"Surbhi. Come on. It will be fun with everyone together. " said Mahir

" But Mahir... " I tried to say when a new familiar voice came

" Come on Surbhi. I'm asking first time that you for anything. Don't deny " Aanand pleaded

" God. Did you all have a plan of blackmailing me emotionally " I whined

" yess" they all shouted in unison 

"Okay fine" I said and there they all cheered f they have won a battle.

After talking to them di called me personally and said me that I will of course come...after all Mahir is coming.

Di talked to dad and mom for me and as I said they didn't deny. Tomorrow we were to leave for the vacation.

Di and Aneer jiju would join us there only. Priya and  Aanand would pick me up from here...and Mahir would come directly to airport.

 I did my packing.  The day passed very fast and next day I bid bye to everyone and Priya picked me up from home.

"Hey both of you" I wished

"Hello Surbhi. Come fast we're getting late. That super excited Mahir is already there and will shout at us if we'll be late" said Priya

"Super exicted.. why" I asked and they both looked at each other.

" Of course it's vacation time. That's why " Aanand laughed 

Strange !!

We went to Airport and checked in. There he was waiting for us.

"Hey" he said

"Hello. " I replied

"Mahir. Since when you started wearing casuals" asked Priya

"Emm...before sometime " he said looking at me.

"Shall me move. Our flight have been announced" I told 

We all sat at our respected seats.

"Priya. Just two days vacations...why..we would've extended it" I asked

I mean come on! If vacations were needed, it must be at least 4-5 days!

"No actually we wanted to spend some time to gather with you all...and two days are enough at Hamilton island " she said looking at Aanand and Mahir.

Why are they passing glares to each other since they came.

"Okay" I replied

We all talked and shared many childhood memories with each other.
Soon we were at our destination. Hamilton Islands.

"Wow. This is really beautiful " I exclaimed

"You liked it" asked Mahir

"Loved it. So lovely  " I said

"Yes. " he replied looking at me.

"Hey guys." Came Aneer jiju's voice

"Heyyee" I said and hugged them.

" Didn't think to meet you so soon" said di

"Even I didn't " I grinned

"Guys. Cars are waiting outside. Shall we" asked Aanand and we nodded at went.

We went to Beach club and took our room's keys.

Aanand and Priya had their room. Di and jiju also. I had a different room and Mahir too. Of course here only we two were the singles and we didn't want to disturb their privacies.

"Okay. See you Surbhi . At night we all will meet outside at beach okay. Call me if need anything " Said Mahir

"Yeah." I replied smiling.

Soon at night we all met.

We talked about random things to gather... and London dairies. How we celebrated di's bday.  Aanand and Priya's wedding etc... 

"Guys with you all time is passing so soon.  Thankyou that you all forced me otherwise I would have missed so much fun and such a beautiful place" I said

"We told you that you'll enjoy. Now guys let's play truth and dare" Priya told

"Emm... No. I'm tired. I want to sleep. Please " I said

" Okay. You go and rest" Mahir replied.

"Mahir. Tomorrow I want to spend some time with Priya.. So you four enjoy. I'll be back till evening " said Aanand

" Of course. Spend Quality time with your wife" I giggled 

"Emm... If you don't mind Surbhi , can I also go with Aneer. He has arranged an early morning breakfast date " di asked.

Is everyone going somewhere or other.Then why did we even come here!!

" okay. " I replied smiling.

We all stood up and went towards our room. Both couples had their rooms somewhat away from us. So I and Mahir bid bye to them and came towards our room. I was really feeling a little low because everyone was going somewhere.

" Surbhi listen" Mahir called.

Now what. Is he also going somewhere.

"What.  You are also going somewhere. Fine. You also Go. "I snapped while he smiled looking at me.

" Everyone is going somewhere. I have no company and you too.. So why don't we roam around the island as in London. " he asked

" Really. " I exclaimed and he nodded!

"  Want to see a real scenic beauty.. " he asked and I nodded 

" Then be ready at sharp morning 5:30 " he told 

" What. You kidding. Morning 5:30. It's freaking early. I've to loose my sleep" I whined 

" Sometimes to experience something good you've to loose something too!  " he told and smiled.

His expressions are different today. I mean his eyes are shining !!

" Sharp 5:30 AM  Surbhi. Outside the beach house" he reminded going away.

I smiled an went inside my room.

Come on Surbhi sleep and wake up at sharp 5:00. 

MAHIR'S POV

Everything was going according to the plan.  I never knew that Priya.. Aanand.. Di and Jiju act so well.

How nicely they acted in front of her that they've to spend time with themselves and we all know Surbhi's nature, She'll not say no to anyone.

Obviously they were not going anywhere but if I wouldn't have done that then she won't be coming alone with me.

I have to propose you Surbhi , not everyone.

I know she loves seeing sunrise &sunsets... And with that rising sun from the sea I will go down on my knees to propose my love.

Mahir Maheshwari aren't you too filmy now.

No he's too much in love now...

See Surbhi. That's your effect. My heart is overpowering my mind now.

I'm sure Sleep will not come so I called Aanand.

"Aanand. I'm too nervous bro. I don't know what will happen. Will.. Will She say yes.. What will I do if she will deny. I can't... Aanand. I don't know... Why are you not saying something.. Say something... " I rambled

" If you'll stop Rambling then I'll say something. " he shouted 

" I'm just.... " I tried to say

" Mahir. Just keep one thing in mind. If not now then never. One chance... Okay. Just go and do it " came Priya's voice.

" Yeah. Okay. You all come there somewhat around 6:00" I told

I didn't want them... But they all like kids started saying , we want to see the epic moment.

"Okay. All the very best" they said before keeping the phone.

I kept the ring that I chose for her in the pocket of my bottoms which I'll be wearing tomorrow.

Tomorrow I hope, to make the most memorable day of your life Surbhi. I hope You'll love the place and me too.

 Whole night went so fast and I didn't sleep.I was thinking what to say her.. But nothing came in my mind and I'm damn sure I'll forget everything whatever I'll think just by seeing her.

SURBHI'S POV

It was 5:00 pm.

 I woke up and freshened up and saw my phone. There was a message from Mahir.

"Wear something comfortable. You've to climb steps"   it read

"but where are we going "  I typed

" have some patience Surbhi.  Waiting for you outside the beach house " he replied.

I wore the same dress that Mahir chose from the dresses that I picked up at London. It was comfortable.. Elegant and  beautiful.

I don't know why but Today I'm feeling different . My heart is racing unknowingly...

As if something is going to happen.

 I've never felt like this. There was this excitement and a smile constant on my face.

I moved out to see him looking at his watch !

"Hey. Morning " he said with enthusiasm when he saw me.

" Morning. I yawned.

It was dark outside. Of course it's just 5:30. I didn't know where he was taking me so early. But I have full trust on him.

"I knew you'll be in this state of half sleep that's why I made it" he said handing me a cup of tea and poured tea from thermos.

Amazing!!!

" My god. I thought I'll not get Chai here in Australia. Thankyou Mahir" I exclaimed happily.

"Hey.. Shh.. Slow slow... People are yet sleeping. " he told and I mouthed a sorry.

SURBHI'S OUTFIT

MAHIR'S OUTFIT

"Hey. That's the same dress right...You.. you look beautiful in this" he complimented

"Thankyou and You too look good in this" I told

"I was born good" he bluffed

"Oh hello. I chose these casuals for you okay. So you must say me thankyou.. otherwise you would have been wearing tuxedos here" I said grumpily 

"Okay okay. Thankyou Ms.jumpsuit for making me look good" he thanked

"Your welcome" I replied

" Okay. Let's go. " he said.

" But where. You tell me first " I asked 

" Surbhi just come. Don't ask questions. " he said

Finishing the tea we went to a site.

It was Passage Peak.

Highest point of Hamilton island.

" OMG.. Mahir. Passage peak.  You know I wanted to come here... Sunrise from here is just fabulous. Thankyou " I grinned.

There were very few people here. Maybe the most of the tourists from beach house have seen that yesterday itself.

" So ready. Shall we start climbing the stairs. There are 140 steps. Will you be able to" he asked

"Of course... For such a beautiful sunrise I can climb even 14000 steps "I said

" 14000 like seriously " he asked making a face

" Emm... They are really much. 2000 is fine" I said and laughed.

He didn't say anything just smiled and held my hand.

Chills ran down the spine with Butterflies in stomach.

 Mahir.. You're giving me the sensations that I've read only in novels.

We started climbing and after 100 steps....I was... Tired.

"Mahir. Wait for sometime please. I can't walk more " I told

" But it's already 5:40. We will miss the sunrise. " he said

" But.. I can't walk now" I announced

He looked at me and came close to me. Next what I know was he picked me up.

"Maaahir. What are you doing. Put me down " I shouted

" I can't. I've been waiting for this from so long. And you're saying you can't walk so don't walk. But we have to reach there anyhow till 5:50." he said and started walking.

"Mahir. You're waiting for what from so long" I asked and he looked down.

Is he hiding something ?

"I mean for This Sunrise. I'm waiting for it since we started to travel from Indore " he said.

" Fine. Walk then. But you'll get tired Mahir. " I warned 

" You weight like feather idiot. " he said and I smiled

Aren't you experiencing a romantic scene of a movie Surbhi.

Ugh!!! Shake it off Surbhi.  

" Finally we are here" he announced happily

[ ACTUAL VIEW OF SUNRISE FROM PEAK POINT,  HAMILTON ISLAND ]

The view was so beautifully breathtaking !!

Mahir was still holding me like that and seeing the heights we were at.

"Mahir... " I said and then he realized the state and left me protectively.

" It's beautiful Mahir. " I told

 "You liked it" he asked

"Loved it. Now just waiting for the sun to rise " I said

" Come. Let's go and sit there " he said pointing  towards the place near the edge of the peak.

" But..it's too high. What if I fall "I chuckled

"You won't! You've me! We'll not sit on edge. Just a bit away from there "he said and I nodded.

Of course no fear when you are here because I know you'll not let me happen anything.

We sat there.

Cold breezes were giving a sensation of little chill.. waving my open hairs lightly in air. The serenity of the morning was amazing.

 Neither I spoke anything nor he.

Slowly I was able to see the sun rays. The black sky was changing its color from dark red to orange.

It looked as if it was a black canvas on which red and orange colors have been spread. I've never ever seen so much beautiful sunrise. It was a very very outstanding scene.

"It's beautiful.. It's really the most beautiful scene I've ever seen" I admitted

"And that's the most beautiful scene I've ever witnessed " Mahir said looking at me.

He's referring to the nature right?

But he was looking constantly at me with the emotions that I've never seen in his eyes.

" Mahir... " I tried to say

" Surbhi. Will you do a favor to me today. I want to tell you something , but please don't say anything before I complete. Please" he said. 

What was he trying to say?

I just nodded because I'm not understanding anything right now. He just looked everywhere other then me.

What has happened to him!!

MAHIR'S  POV

" Surbhi. I.. I..." I tried to say but couldn't.

Come on Mahir you've to do it.

I just closed my eyes and then slowly opening them looked at her.

I just looked into her eyes.

"Surbhi just listen to me patiently. You know Whatever happened in my life. I never blamed anyone for anything. I never, even now. There was a time when I was Mahir. Not Mahir Maheshwari, Just Mahir.  A normal boy just like everyone who used to Sing, Smile, Laugh, Tease and do everything that others did. I considered myself very lucky to have friends like Like I had.
But then you never know about future. Everything changed.Everything vanished in seconds. My Happiness,My Smile,My laughter... And the one who was lost was Mahir. The real Mahir.

 I thought that whatever happened with me was due to me only. Why didn't I behave like those rich brats used to behave ? But even then , my ethics didn't let me do anything wrong. But things which are close to heart affect, Right?? " I asked and she nodded

"But Mahir I kn..." she was saying when I put my finger her my lips!

"Sush! Just listen till I complete! " I whispered and she nodded.

"They affected me. Affected in a very bad way. That Mahir was crushed somewhere and Mahir Maheshwari rose. It's right. Destiny decided it for me.. If destiny wouldn't have done this then I think I wouldn't be the one who I'm today. My business might not have raised so high.. Well it's a different thing. But What came in front was Mahir Maheshwari.  A very rude, Arrogant Angry man. Who never talked with anyone properly. Who blamed people for what they've not done, who had a hatred towards everyone and especially girls. Who never respected any women other then his mother and sister. For whom the word Respect, Care, Concern, Smile, Love never existed. Who thought that people who are in love or even friendship are just looking at a mirage. Who always treated girls like...damn ! Nothing was good in Life Surbhi. My life was a living hell. I lost hopes in everything, In everyone. I didn't have any expectations from anyone. You know like a lifeless body. I was like that. Without a soul. A man who had no life of his own.  Who worked 18 hours, Attended social events for the happiness of family, Who worked for happiness of family. Who Didn't have his own life. May be a living corpse " I sighed and she frowned denying while I smiled.

" But suddenly everything changed." I added and she looked at me while I was already looking at her.

" Everything changed. AND THEN YOU HAPPENED." I whispered and she looked at me shocked.

" I think that day was the best day of my life. I everyday remember the day. A girl who shouted on mefor being nonsense. You know Surbhi, That moment something different happened. But I denied it. Then you met me at the hospital. I don't know why but I felt good. But you know that I thought, you're also like everyone. Who will come in my life and will go away smashing me and I even thought that I meet hundreds of people in a day and never meet them again ever so you're like one of them, but as you say destiny have always decided something for you. May be it decided you for me.
A broken soul was healed. I never lied to you Surbhi. I'll never even think so. I told you everything about me. And today I'm telling you the biggest truth of my life." I said and she just stared me.

"The truth is that when I first met you, you were just a one other person, one other face for me but now you are the only one, only face I find at any place. You know you are the person to whom I can tell all my secrets to. I've actually told all my secrets to. The first person I want to talk in the morning and the last person to talk in nights. When something good happens I tell you first & when something bad happens you are the first to whom I tell. You know you are the best person I've ever met. People fall for smiles but on the first day, I fell for your frown. Your red angry face then I fell for the child inside you then I fell for the smile that you gave everyone, I fell for everything in you Surbhi. And here I'm saying you that I've fallen for you.

I don't know when did this happen. But yes you happened and love happened.  The word which I thought was never made for me is my feeling for you.

I LOVE YOU.

 And I don't have any reason for this. It's just that the vibes you give me, the smiles that you put on my face, the laughter which I share with you and the thought that I am with you, all this is enough for me to realize that I love you.
I love you Surbhi Birla. I love you with everything I have. I love you with my whole heart and soul. I am yours Surbhi. 
You know, once you said me that one day I'll find someone who'll choose me and continue to choose me forever. I want you to choose me forever for your life. You've given me a new life Surbhi and I want to dedicate my life to you. I want to love you in every second of your life. I want to coo you, pamper you, adore you. You happened in my life and I want this happening to be the best happening in my life" I confessed and went on my knees and took out the ring from my pocket.

"Surbhi Birla will you give me the honours to enter your heart ? Will you be with me forever from today?  Will you be mine forever, as I am yours ? Will you give me the honours to be loved by the best soul in this world ? I love you Surbhi. I'll love you forever like this.
Will you sit on this see saw of my life ? Will you be my partner in every small crime ? Will you give me the right to call you mine?

Surbhi... WILL YOU MARRY ME " I proposed and she looked at me with her mouth open which depicted utter shock!!

She was frozen at her place.

 God!!!!!!! Please...say yes!!! say yes!!!!

This next minute will decide my whole life!!!

SURBHI'S POV

He did it...He did it right now....He proposed me..

HE PROPOSED ME.

His each and every word have been caught in my heart forever. He opened his heart in front of me.
He Loves me.

Mahir loves me.

 Tears were flowing from the eyes. Happiness has no bounds today.

"I...I..." I tried to say

"Surbhi. Please don't cry. You can say what you feel. No pressure on you. Your denial is also okay for me" he said sounding low and I cried more!!!

This idiot.

"Idiot. Idiot...idiot...Just assume things...
I LOVE YOU TOO Mahir .
 I love you too. You're the person for whom I've fallen for the first time in my life and will be the last time. I don't care for what you did..How you behaved. Nothing. I love the way you are.
You literally mean the world to me Mahir. You know you're the reason I'm smiling and I smile like idiots just by  thinking of you. I felt so lucky Mahir to have you in my life even as a friend and now knowing that I'm being loved by you, all I feel is that I'm the luckiest girl in universe to have you forever just for me.
You make me smile.. you make me laugh..I trust you with my heart and soul and I...I was waiting for this day to come...I never thought that, God.. . I.. I love you Mahir...I love you to the moon and back and much more then that." I confessed bending down and hugged him as tears of happiness were already flowing.

"I Love you Mr.Mahir Maheshwari" I whispered and he looked at me!

"What. Really...You..God!! Surbhi lovesss meeee" he shouted excitedly and picked me up and twirled me around

"Mahir I'll fall..." I chuckled

"I'll never let you fall my love never ever. I love you soo much Surbhi..." he screamed with joy and a tear escaped his own eye.

Tears of happiness.

I wiped that from my thumb and hugged him tightly.

"I Love you too Mahir. Love you too" I whispered as he hugged me back tightly

"You know this have been my favorite place since you hugged me like this for the first time in the church" he told and I laughed!!

"And that's my home , since you hugged me for the first time." I replied and he hugged me even more tightly.

"I promise....to make this place only yours forever." He whispered

Soon I heard loud cheers and claps.

"Whhoooooo" came some voices.

I broke the hug and saw my surroundings.

Now that's when it came in my mind that where I was and this all was pre planned. Those four people were standing there with big smiles on their faces. And there were some more tourists who were looking at us in awe.

" How romantic. The boy chose the best place and made it most memorable day of the girl" said someone.

"See. Look at them. How much love" exclaimed anyone else

"Whhoooo.....Surbhii and Mahirr congratulations " shouted Priya, Aanand.. Di and jiju togather.

"This was all your plan" I asked and he smiled.

I was red till now.

"I...I'll just be." I tried to say and move away but they all four came and pushed me into Mahir and Mahir hugged me chuckling.

"Whhooooo... congratulations and celebrations....." they all said moving in a circle centering us.

I looked at Mahir..who was looking only and only at me. I buried my face in his chest in the shyness.

"Mahir...ring" said Priya

"Oh..yeah...I just forgot that in the whole excitement " Mahir told and once again went down on his knees.

"I love you Surbhi and I promise in front of this Sun.. these people and The universe to love you like this forever. To care for you, protect you and to be yours till death do us part and even till eternity. I want to live with you, spend my all the time with you. I want to grow old with you!  Be mine forever" he proposed opening the ring box.

"Comeon Surbhi.  That's the time.." di exclaimed

I smiled...and I too went on my knees.

"This relation will always be equal. I too promise you On this rising sun with these people, this sea and this universe that I will love you till my last breath...I'll love you till eternity. I promise to make you smile like this forever. I promise to make you my happiness. I too want to live my whole life with you, cherish every moment with you... Smile with you.. laugh with you.. cry with you... Be mad with you... frown in front of you so that you can make that frown turn into smile. I too want to grow old with you and want to tease you with the same name 60s Mahir.  I love you Mahir... and I write my whole life in your name." I admitted 

He smiled and slid the ring in my finger.  Everyone cheered and clapped.

" I Love You Ms.Jumpsuit " said Mahir and hugged me again.

"Love you much much much More Mr.Tuxedo " I replied and hugged him back.

That's the best day of life.

 I've got the love of my life.

I've got my everything.

I've got Mahir.

Everything is so good today. 

 Thankyou God.
