Mahir's POV

She tried lightning my mood. But it was of no use.
She even apologized for spoiling my mood but least she knew that she didn't have to be sorry. She was not at all the reason behind my spoiled mood.

I...I wanted to tell her the reason...

No mahir. Never.

You are not that weak to express your emotions in front of anyone. It's just inside you and it has to be within you forever. 

Yes I'll not tell anyone anything. I don't want sympathy from anyone. I don't want anyone to think anything about it.

I saw her turning towards window and closing her eyes.

See Mahir Maheshwari. This is you!! 

You spoil everything.Every damn thing. You just can make people upset nothing else.

"I'm sorry surbhi" these were the first words that came out of my mouth.

"Huh..what happened? Why are you being sorry. It was me who spoiled your mood. You were in so good mood. I don't know why. I'm like this only.I'm Stupid girl. I can't have a proper convers..." she rambled and I applied breaks to the car.

Ohh how much she speaks.

"Sush... Surbhi. Stop talking. It's not your fault and here you are blaming yourself without reasons. "I huffed.

Her eyes grew bigger and she was looking at me constantly.

Now what have I done.

Her eyes landed from my face to my hand and I followed her gaze.

And then I realized what she wanted to say.
My forefinger was on her lips and I was an inch away from her. Her lips were so soft and delicate.

  Shutup Mahir!!!!

I immediately removed my finger from her lips.

"I'm sorry." I mumbled starting the car again.

"It...its okay" she replied

"But this doesn't mean that you'll say anything. It was not your fault. It was just that... I've only three friends that includes you and I don't want to make other friends. If I've made you my friend then you can understand that I trust you. It's just don't break my trust otherwise I'll never be able to trust anyone else again in my life" I said looking in front.

"Do you think I'll ever break your trust" she asked looking at me.

"No. But you know when your closest..." I stopped saying when I realized what I was going to say.

"You know you can trust me" she assured

"That's what I'm doing " I replied and she smiled.

A smile automatically appeared on my face too.

Suddenly my phone rang. Trisha. Why the hell is she calling now.

I clicked on my Bluetooth.

" What the hell Trisha. I told you not to call me. Is office going to crash that you are calling me" I said frustrated

"Sir... But.. A file" she stammered

"I think I need to fire you and find a new PA who'll not stammer and stop this nonsense " I growled

" Now will you speak Trisha" I snapped

"Sir a file needs some urgent signs from you and it has been sent to your home. Please sign it and forward it to our manager " she said monotonously

" Fine" I told and cut the call

I looked at my side seat to see someone looking at me with wide eyes.

O shit!!! I was shouting in front of her.

"You are always like this" she asked frowning

"What " I asked

" Yeah.. I mean shouting at your staff" she said

"Emm.... Actually " I tried to say

" You know what... Sorry but Being very straight forward it was really very rude. I mean they work under you it doesn't mean that you'll shout at them like this. They are also human beings. They too deserve a little respect from their boss" she said

"You know, I'm on top position right now because my staff is frightened and because of which they work properly " I replied

" You know, stop shouting on people without any reason and stop giving them firing warnings without their mistakes. You don't listen to people " she shouted

She's shouting at me. Really. And here I am listening to her. Why. Why am I not stopping her from shouting at me as I stop everyone.

" I told Trisha to call me only if it was urgent" I said while she narrowed her eyes folding her hands.

"So did she called you for time pass" she asked.

She's right. She called me for important work only as she was asked to do.

"That...actually.. " I don't know what to say.

Yeah I was wrong !!

" Mahir Maheshwari I hope you don't have any excuse for this " she asked

" Fine. You win. And as I said earlier.. No one can win from you in debates" I said and she laughed.

God !!Her smile!!

" Mahir. Once try being gentle with people. Try not to be that Hitler boss. I am sure your company will touch the heights of sky with a lot and lot smiling faces" she said

" Emm...I'll try" I replied

"Good. So call Trisha "she said.

" What. Why. No need" I told

"Call and talk to her gently " she ordered and I sighed dialing her number.

Wow! One who orders whole world is listening to someone's orders!!

Is this you Mahir Maheshwari?

" I don't know why I'm listening to you " I muttered

" Thank you. Now on speaker " she said

" Hello Sir..I didn't do anything. Don't fire me. " Trisha frightened and Surbhi looked at me with a frown.

" No. No.. Trisha I didn't call you for that. I was saying that...." I tried to say but words weren't coming out of my mouth when I looked towards Surbhi.

"Say sorry for rudeness " Surbhi mouthed me.

WHAT!!!No ways!!

I said no in gestures.

"Yes" she again mouthed.

"Sir are you there" Trisha asked

"Yes..yes...I was just saying that... actually..that..I shouldn't have... shouted on you! That's it " I said

"Sir. Are you ill. What are you saying "she mumbled and Surbhi suppressed her laughter.

"What you heard Trisha" I gritted

"I said, I shouldn't have shouted on you without reason" I repeated

"Oh my god sir. I can't believe it. You are saying this..Sir you don't have to...You are my boss and you have right to scold me. So no need for apologies ! This doesn't suit you" she said.

I've been so arrogant to shout at my employees for no reason and Trisha.. there she is. Talking to me so politely.

I cut the call and look towards Surbhi. This girl is making me realize everything.

My good and my bad both. She's influencing me. It looks as if.... everything in my life is going to be best till she's a part of my life.

Mahir...what are you thinking. No..she is just my friend. But never in my life I felt this good till now....Because no one tried to comfort you...stop thinking whatever you are...She's just your friend.

"Oh hello...in which world" she snapped her fingers at me.

"No no nothing" I said

"So did it feel good after talking to someone nicely" she asked

"Yeah. Of course. Thankyou again for making me realize that I can speak to people politely " I said.

"I don't know how many thankyou I've to say you every time I meet you" I added and we both chuckled.

"We're here" I announced

"Yep." She said and moved out of the car.

"Okay bye" I told
"What bye. Come inside. Dad will be very happy to see you" she chirped

"No..not today. Getting late" I said

"Mahir. Please come. You know dad will scold me that I didn't take you inside home" she told making puppy eyes.

Now how could I deny that.

"Fine come" I replied

"Yaayy.. Good boy" she laughed

"I'm a man" I corrected and she nodded not paying much attentiont though.

Soon we were at her home.

Her home was in one of the best posh colonies of Indore like mine..but mine was in opposite direction of hers.

Her home was indeed amazing. I've seen it before also.

"Surbhi. Where were you" came a voice...
