Mahir's POV

Is it a dream or what ?

I expressed everything in front of her. I told her how much I love her..
 I told her that how she's ruling my heart.

. She has my heart and soul now.

 If it was in my hands I would've taken the largest megaphone and would've told the whole world that she said yes to Me.

Now I have the sole right to call her MY Surbhi. Mine.

 What more can I ask from you now God.

You gave me my life. We were encircled by Aanand.. Priya...Neeti Di and jiju. I made her wear the sign of my love. The ring.

" Together.. Forever " I said

"Together forever " she repeated and I smiled.

" Mahir. Take this " said Aanand &  handed me the guitar.

" I told you right. I'll play it when I'll propose someone then I'll play for my love forever. " I reminded and she smiled.

She nodded smiling as well as crying in joy.

I sat on the place where we were sitting before and began playing for her.

Dahleez pe mere dil ki...

I sang and looked at her.

She was standing there smiling and mouthed Love you to me.

"I LOVE YOU TOO " I shouted

" Slow Mahir. " she said

" Not now my love. Not now" I screamed  in joy and she blushed.

 She's blushing now much much more then before...

And I so love this.

We were coming back to beach house.

"So... This was all your plan" she asked

"Yes. Mine. And they all helped me" I said looking at everyone

"Thankyou guys. Without you all this wouldn't have been possible " I thanked all of them

" Oh no. NO.. Mahir.... What... What if everyone... Will come to know... media..Dad... He'll think "Surbhi panicked

" Surbhi no one will know. I knew this would be the problem that's why we came here. No pics will be spread, Because no phones. No rumors and nothing" I said

"Really. You sure " she asked

" believe me" I said

"Already believe you" she replied

"You are blushing till now " I said

" Emm... No.. Whe... Where " she mumbled looking down.

I went a inch more close to her and lifted her chin from my finger.

" Emm... Not much just from here... Here.. and here " I said pointing towards her cheeks...chin and that cute little nose.

" Eehhmm... Guys if you're done then shall we move ahead" teased Neeti di.

"Neeti di...I want to take her to the beach... If you don't mind" I asked 

"Mahir. She's all yours. No need for our permission... Just take her approval " said Aneer jiju

" Come" I said and she nodded.

"Bye surbhi enjoyyy "they all shouted and giggled and she looked away again blushing.

" Aren't you blushing too much. Is that the effect that I have on you " I asked walking towards the beach

" Hmm... You always used to have the same, its just now it's much more" she told

We came towards the beach. She walked slowly in the water.

I smiled looking at her. This girl has the power to make me smile by her little gestures.

I folded my jeans from the bottom and went towards her. She looked at me as I pulled out my hand from my pocket and held her wrist... And the moment was when she reciprocated the same and interlocked her fingers with mine.

I got the peace!

It felt as if I've got everything what I wanted.
We came out of water and sat there on the sand.

"So Mahir. Was this the reason you went away from India to London, Because you were afraid that you'll loose me" she asked

"Can't bear losing you at any cost" I said

"But Mahir leaving away like this. What if now something like this happens and you'll again leave. Now I can't bear loosing you and I swear I can't live in that condition" she sniffled as tears pooled in her eyes

"Hey..love..I'll not" I said looking at her

"Please don't leave me ever Mahir. And don't go away , I can't bear that now " she sobbed.

I put my palms on her cheeks and made her look at me.

"Listen. I know I was coward to leave but after today , I promise I'll never leave. I know I'm an hopeless idiot but you know now I can't run away because I'm addicted, to your smile. I thought running away I'll be able to forget you , but that time I couldn't forget you and now I never want to do such stupidness. You know those times I got speechless when You looked at me but now I know how to express my love to you. So say how can I leave you. I don't know how to love you because I never loved anyone, so I'm developing my own ways to love you and In that I'm firstly promising you to never ever leave and go away from you, because" I was saying and she looked at me

"You have my heart now and You're a doctor so you know that living without heart is impossible right" I professed smiling towards her.

And I got what I needed.

Her smile.

" You're crazy and mad" she chuckled slapping me lightly on my shoulder.

"Yes. Crazy and mad, Just for you " I replied hugging her tightly .

"I love you Mahir." She said

"I love you too my love" I replied kissing her forehead.

Isn't that the real intimacy.

For me indeed it is. When my love is close to my heart even a tight hug is intimate for me. 

"Mahir.  When did you planned all this " she asked

" This was in my mind since we came back from London. And then even di and jiju gave me courage to do so. " I said

" Did they tell you that I.. I mean I love.. " she asked

" Not at all. They even didn't give me a hint that you feel the same for me. They just told me that take the risk and propose you " I said

" Because they didn't want to spoil the moment. They knew that getting the feelings known by ourselves will be more right. That's why they never said me also " she told.

" Yeah. Surbhi where's the ring" I asked

" I threw it in ocean" she said

"What " I  asked shocked and she laughed

" Mahir. I can't wear it in front of everyone. If anyone will know this.. They'll " she tried to say

" I know. It's Okay. You don't need to say anyone and no one will know this till I'll myself come to your home and ask your hand for marriage . I promise " I said

" Thankyou " she replied and rested her head on my shoulder.

We were sitting there for some time.

"Shall we. Every one must be waiting for us" she said

"Yes. Come "I told and gave her my hand. She held it and stood up.

" Hold me like this forever Mahir " she said

" Forever. Promise " I replied smiling

We went to the beach house. It looked as if they were waiting for us only.

" So... How was the quality time " asked Priya

" Don't tease her. See her. She's all red. " I told

"Ehmm... someone is getting so much affected now" Teased Aneer jiju

"Yes. And now with all the rights" I smiled

"Fine. Now guys take some rest and then see you all at night. Tomorrow we have to leave" said Priya

"Yeah. Let's do bonfire in night at the beach " Surbhi suggested

"Yeah. Good idea." Aanand favored

"Okay. See you all at night. Bye" I said and I and Surbhi came towards our rooms.

"Emm... okay...See you Then" she told

"Surbhi You..know..you can...shift.." I tried to say

" I'll come with my luggage " she chuckled and completed what I wanted to say.

"I'll take it. Come" I grinned and she packed her luggage and we came to our room.

She closed the gate and I hugged her from back.

"Mahir.  What are you doing " she whispered

" What are you seeing " I asked

" Mahir. Leave me. Idiot" She said.

"Emm... On one condition " I told 

" Wha... What " she asked frightened.

I know what she's thinking.

" Just Dance with me " I said and she looked at me startled

" dance " she asked confused

" Yes. What did you thought " I asked and I know what she thought.

" I.. No.. No.. Nothing " she said.

" Surbhi. I'll not force you for anything without your permission. Mark my words. If you say No. That'll mean No. " I said.

She didn't say anything.. Just looked at me.

" I would've really done some good deeds in my last birth that I've got you. I love you Mahir.. But It's.. It's Just that.. " she tried to say

" Love. Listen. You don't need to explain this. I love you in this way. I've loved you in this way.. And I can forever.. So I promise nothing without your consent." I assured and she hugged me immediately.

"But I can do this Without consent " she told biting her lower lip.

" Yaarr!!... Just don't do this. Don't bite your lips!  That makes me crazy and loose my gentlemanliness" I groaned  and she laughed

" Now Leave me "she said

" Dance " I asked and she smiled.

We danced like idiots for sometime. The dance started with love and ended with madness.

SURBHI'S POV

Everything is so good. It looks as if it's a dream but it's reality.

Lucky I'm that I've got Mahir. Who knows what I'm thinking even before I tell. How he understood my uneasiness and made promise in front of me.

We danced together. The dance started with couple dance and ended with dance full of madness and pillow fights. I so Love Himmm...

It was night. We went to beach. Everyone was there.

"Hey.. " I said

" Hey.. Come. We were waiting for you both " Neeti di told 

" Bonfire is ready. Can we get something vegetarian to eat" I asked

"You're crazy. " Di chuckled

" We can. Just wait" said Mahir

Soon he came with... some sweet potatoes and some barbecue sticks.

"Here you go. " he said and put those Sweet potatoes wrapped in foil on barbeque sticks and put them in fire.

" Woaah.. Man. From where did you get these" asked Aanand

" From the kitchen of beach house " he replied and looked at me

" Thankyou Mahir " I said

" Thaaankyyoouu Maaahiiir " they all mimicked me and laughed.

I couldn't do anything just laugh with them.

" Okay. Now let's play something " said Priya

" Emm... Not truth and dare. Let's just talk "  Di told

"Okay. Some good memories and answers " I suggested

" Okay. So let's start. " said Aneer Jiju

"Start from Di you. Share your love story with everyone" Mahir asked

"Emm...so I met Aneer in a social event. He was with his family. We just saw each other and were introduced by a common friend. He then sent me request on social media. We talked and after six months we realized that we...feel for each other...and Here we are in front of you togather " Told di and I looked towards her smiling.

"So what was Everyone's reaction at home when you told all about your relationship" asked Aanand

" They didn't give any reaction firstly...but when they met Aneer they loved him very much and they were ready for getting us married. Dad was a bit angry firstly but then when he met Aneer and saw him well settled in all ways, his anger vanished away" she told remembering the times.

" Aanand!! Priya was your childhood friend right.. so she knew that you like her from starting" asked Di

"Nope. I liked her company since We were kids.When we came in high school our departments were different but we used to catch up frequently. I was a playboy type of person and she was different. I didn't think we will ever have a match but suddenly one day when I saw her with a boy of her class, I realized that when I can't see her with someone else then how can I be away from her. So I proposed her the another day only" Aanand told 

"What ! And you said Yes at the same instant Priya" asked Aneer jiju

"Nope. I was his secret admirer since childhood and soon I realized that I like him but seeing his playboy nature , I thought he can never stand in one relationship so better be best friends as we were so when he proposed me my first words were..." she looked at all of us...and Mahir laughed.

Of course he must be knowing everything.

" Stop joking Aanand" Priya replied and we all burst out laughing.

"Yes. She said this but I told that what I've  seen and I've realized my feelings but she asked what if I'll leave her..." said Aanand

"Thenn..what did you say" I asked

"Since we were family friends , he came my home and in front of his and mine family he asked me for marriage. Now how could I not believe it when he had guts to propose me in front of our families. His love was clearly visible in his eyes " Priya smiled hugging Aanand.

"We can see that" said Mahir.

"But..you were just 20. And wait. Idiot. Your married just month and some back. So what was that  " Di asked

" I did so to make her trust me and these words were my promise in front of her family and since that day we were in relationship. Then now we got Married" Aanand told

" Wow. So Cute. It looked as if a filmy love story" I said and we chuckled

"Okay. So, I and Priya both  know about When Mahir realized he liked you .But when did you realized Surbhi , that you like him" asked Aanand

"One minute. We know about Surbhi but we don't know about Mahir. When did you realize that you like her Mahir " asked Di.

"Even I don't know Surbhi, when you started liking me" asked Mahir

"Same here " I said and everyone laughed

"You both are crazy. So what can be the best time then now. Share it." jiju told

" Your wedding" we both said in unison pointing towards Aanand and Priya

Everyone looked at us and.. we both....We both looked at each other.

"Again a beautiful coincidence in your life " Di chuckled

" I always got some good vibes from her. With her I felt good but I didn't give those feelings any name. But then at your wedding my eyes searched for one person and when I saw her at the entrance I couldn't see anything else. For me everything vanished from there. What I could see was just Surbhi. That time I realized I like her. The feelings which I have for her are liking but very very soon I realized liking is a very small word for what I felt for her..." he said looking at me.

"I realized how I've fallen head over heels for her .How much I love her" he completed looking at me.

" Surbhi. You say" asked Aanand.

I was thinking what to say...I looked at him finding him curious to know.

" Mine condition was same. That day when at your wedding I saw him.. My heart skipped a beat. My heart was racing very fast. And that time I realized I like him. But I thought it's just a sort of liking...May be which will vanish...But then he went London without saying anything and then not talking to him,  I realized that It was not liking...it was something much pure then that. My nights were sleepless and I now know the condition was same there. Those were the days when I realized that I Love him..." I told looking at him.

"You know you both are just Made for each other " said Di

"Okay. Girl. So how you fell in love with him.  What you liked the most in Mahir" asked Priya

"I didn't like anything in Mahir. I love everything in him. I love him the way he is. And if you ask that how I fell in love with him then, He never tried to flirt with me as every other boy would've done. He never said those cheesy pickup lines. Well I would've loved if he said those and made it a Bollywood story" I said and everyone chuckled

" But, he never ever crossed his limits. He was just Himself whenever he was with me. He never hurried things up. If he would've wanted he would've said this all early but he gave me time. I know he chose this time because he knew that may be if he would've done this earlier it would've affected my exams. He understands me. I came to know him.. I got to understand him. We talked ..we spent a beautiful time together..I loved his company... I loved the concern he showed.. I was myself when I was with him and that's how slowly I fell for him. And now everyday I am falling for him more and more." I told looking at him.

"I love you." He said

"Love you much more " I replied and he hugged me.

"Hmm, so Mahir. Now tell me Mr.Maheshwari that the person who didn't believe in love, is in love. So what according to you is love " asked Aanand
Mahir looked at me.

"Love..it may not have the prettiest face, a perfectly figured body. It may not even listen to the same songs. It may be a north and south pole...Love wouldn't even seem to be love at the first site. But that's the best part. One day..suddenly in a moment when you realize that you love someone. You would look at their eyes and then you wouldn't want to look at something else. You won't even know why. But that's the best thing. I feel very much about love... So much that this night will end but not my definition of love will end..but to complete it in just one word. For me Love isn't anything much more.... For Me Love Is ...Surbhi " He professed looking at me.

I looked at him with glistening eyes. Can I wish for anything else...

 Actually I don't want to...

Because My Destiny is sitting right beside me now, holding my hand tightly and assuring me every second that how much I mean For him.

And I'm holding that hand tightly in return , reassuring him that how much He mean to me.
