Surbhi's POV

I never thought that Mahir will like my poems so much. I mean I never thought that he'll like them so much.

Don't deny Surbhi. Somewhere you wanted him to like your poem. 

Yeah. It's true but he didn't like it. He loved it... Yeah he loved it.

I smiled to myself.

I told him about my friends. 
Honestly with him time flies so fast. We talked for so much time but it seemed like it's we have started talking just now.

I don't know why he always excuses the topic when it come to his friends.. Relations... Trust..faith and all. When I said him about his friends he said me that it's too late so I must sleep. Honestly somewhere I felt bad by this but I shrugged this thought off from my mind.

It's been 5 - 10 days since we were friends... Or I must really say very good friends.

He's different. He's different from other people. I have male friends and colleagues... But he's different from everyone. I talk with people easily but I don't get comfortable with people easily. He made me feel comfortable.. It didn't happen these days but I felt comfortable with him since we met. I always want people to be happy but I want Mahir to smile....

I want him to Smile constantly.

My college was over and internship was also completed. Finally just final exams after two months and then I'll be finally A Gynecologist.

Today's Priya and Aanand's wedding.

Mahir will be there. But I know I've to act as if I don't know him. I don't know why he had not told Priya and Aanand about me being his friend. I didn't ask him the reason. He might have his reasons and I have no problem with it.

Soon it was 4pm. Phew..come on Surbhi get ready for Priya's wedding. Now what to wear.

Biggest problem for me. And I know I have my savior.

"Keertii Bhaabhiii" I sang her name.

"Coming Surbhi di.. Wait" she said from downstairs.

"Yes Madam" she asked as she came.

"Be my savior " I said joining my hands and laughed

" yeah drama queen " she replied.

" So see. I've bought these two recently and I've not worn any of these.Which do you think should I wear for today? " I asked

". These both are fabulous so do one thing try both of them.. See in mirror and you'll get to know which one to wear " she said

" Yup. Okay wait " I replied and soon came in first look. I saw in mirror.

No.. I don't think this one and I went inside and soon came out with my second look.. And looking at the mirror I smiled.

 Yes. Perfect.

I looked towards bhabhi and saw her giving me thumbs up.I went and hugged her.

"Thank you savior " I thanked

"Okay now help me my savior" she told and I laughed.

"Okay wait. Let me change first " I said and came out in my clothes and went with bhabhi to her room and we chose a wine color saree for her.

Soon I came to my room and changed in my Indian outfit.

" Bhabhi you are looking amazing " I complimented seeing her.

" Thank you now come I'll do your hair" she said and I nodded

Soon bhabhi did my hair in simple loose curls and some makeup.

I wore simple bangles with it and earrings. Finally after everything was done I looked at mirror.

Yeah!! I'm satisfied with my look.

"You look gorgeous Surbhi. I think marriage is of Priya but you'll find someone for you too today" Winked bhabhi

"Bhabhi. You're taking place of mummy now" I frowned

"Okay okay now come. Your brother is waiting downstairs for us" she said and we went downstairs.

Soon we were at the venue and we went inside. Somewhere I was searching for someone.

Yeah Yeah Mahir!!

He must be present here since two days. Of course its his both best friends wedding. Dad and mom were also here since yesterday.

I went inside and saw mom and dad.

"Surbhi... Keerti You both look beautiful "said mom

" Thank you mummy " we both said in unison

" Surbhi, Priya is waiting for you since so long. Go meet her firstly. " mom told

" yeah mom" I replied

"Hey surbhiiiii" I heard someone.

"Heyee Divya didi" I said hugging her

"Glad to see you here.. And first of all you look gorgeous " di exclaimed

" Thank you di. And you look more beautiful. Right jivya baby " I said looking at baby.

My mother and Mahir's mother soon started chatting and were joined by Divya di and bhabhi.

I went towards stage. Towards bride and groom.

When I lifted my eyes my eyes fell on him. Mahir.

For the first time my heart skipped a beat.

I turned myself. What was this!!

What's this feeling.

My heart was beating at a very high rate so fast that someone near me could hear it though thanks to the music.

I composed myself and again turned towards him.

He was standing there looking straight.

Who was he looking at.

I looked at my back but his eyes didn't shifted.

Was he looking at me... No.. Why he'll look at me...

He was standing near Aanand.

No doubt he was looking breathtaking. And One minute. The same color. He was wearing the same color as me.

We were in color combination.

Wowww!!!! What a coincidence. He was in his formals but, Simple yet elegant and no deny very handsome.

Handsome!!! Yes. He was looking very handsome . I can't deny this.

I smiled at him. But today I didn't received his smile again. I frowned from inside. What has happened to him. I went at the stage.

"Congratulations Mrs. Singhania" I wished Priya.

"Surbhi... Finally you got time to come" she grumbled

I said sorry holding my ear. She smiled and hugged me.

"Congratulations Aanand " I wished him too.

" Thank you...err. " he said. He didn't heard my name I guess .

"Surbhi " I introduced raising my hand for shake.

" Thank you so much Surbhi " he thanked and shook his hand.

" Priya you are looking gorgeous and Aanand you are looking handsome. May your love cherish more and more. "I wished smiling.

They both were looking really so great to gather.

" Thank you so much Surbhi." they replied

"Surbhi I want you to meet someone." said Priya and I nodded.

Actually I know whom she want me to meet.

He was looking at me till now. What has happened to him .Why is he behaving weird today.

"Mahir. Meet Surbhi Birla. My very good friend and family relative and Surbhi I don't have to give his introduction I think but yeah Mahir is my best friend as you know" said Priya

I wanted to shout and say I know this man... But I didn't say this.

" Hello Mr. Maheshwari " I said in a causal tone

"Surbhi.. how many times should I tell you not to call me this Mr.Maheshwari. It sounds old" he whined like a small kid.

Shit...shit.. shit... what he has done.

Priya and Aanand were looking at us with wide open mouths.

See this man. He told me not to tell anything about me being his friend to anyone and here he said it himself by saying this thing.

"You both know each other. Right? " asked Priya raising her eyebrow.

I looked at Mahir who was looking at me with 'I don't know anything '  expressions.

 This man is... Ugghhhh.

But inwardly today his every small gestures seemed to be cute and sweet to me.

What was happening with me!!

This was a new feeling for me....

A feeling...A feeling of maybe an attraction.

Shake it off Surbhi. You are thinking anything.

"Surbhi Mahir. What's going on" Priya asked.

"Ask him. I don't know " I said and looked at him.

Now what excuse will he make. I thought..but at the same time I smiled.

I think I will be happy if this smile on my face is due to him....He's affecting me. Yes!!

Now no deny that he's affecting me....

Till now I thought it's just a thought but today when my heart skipped a beat seeing him.. I realized that he's Affecting Me a lot.

What are you doing to me Mahir!!
