Simran shook her head in disbelief.
"Don't judge anything now."

Aaryan glared at her and opened the file which he got from Anirudh's room.

"I am not a fool, Simran..."

"What are you saying?"

"He knows far better than us... He is playing a double game..."

"What is this?"
Asked Simran turning the pages of a book that was present in that file. They were shocked because of the photos, that's why she didn't notice it the first time.

"Seems like some kind of molecular structures... Maybe the chemical outlines of medicines that were produced in F4 MEDICARE."

"Of course, they were produced in their company... but..."

"But, what?"

"I am a chemist, Simran..." said Aaryan. "And now I can understand why everyone tells that my father had an extraordinary talent in his field... Honestly, now I hate my self for having an interest in this field, I hate his genes..."

"I am not getting you Aaryan..." Whispered Simran. She couldn't understand anything other than the depth of Aaryan's rage.

Aaryan took a deep breath to control himself. He was righteous till that moment and has a decision to be in his future too.

"THEY ARE NOT ANY BLOODY MEDICINES..."

Agasthya was immersed in some deep thoughts when Aaryan entered and sat near to him. It was very hard to see him sitting quietly and it was a cute scene, but Aaryan didn't have a mind to enjoy it at that time.

"I hope your shopping was pretty good..."

"Yes bhaiya..." Replied Agasthya and began to grab all he bought from the bag to show his brother.

"Wait, Agasthya..." Aaryan stopped him.
"I have a question for you..."

Aaryan saw Agasthya gulping and he knew the reason.

"Whom did you meet after your shopping?"

"No one... No one bhaiya..." Agasthya replied avoiding eye contact. He couldn't understand why Anirudh strictly warn him to keep everything a secret, but he decided to obey his eldest brother.

Aaryan expected the same, but it still hurts him. Agasthya knew that he doesn't like lies.

"Who was it, Agasthya?"

Agasthya tried his best to behave normally but he felt sweat forming on his face. It was really hard to lie to Aaryan, really really hard...

"Look into my eyes..." Hissed Aaryan. He was angry but still believed that Agasthya will open up to him.

"Bhaiya... I didn't lie..."

Aaryan didn't reply but stared at him, and his sharp eyes were worse than any warning.

"Who taught you to act like this? Your brother?"

Agasthya didn't get what to say. He was caught.

"What kind of person is Akash Malhotra? Is he sweet?" Asked Aaryan with a sarcastic smirk making Agasthya numb.

"You lied to me, Agasthya..." He said in a low voice.

"Bhaiya I am sorry... I didn't mean to hurt you..."

"BUT YOU DID..." Aaryan shouted losing all his control.
"Don't dare to say sorry now... I don't like fake people..."

Agasthya sighed being helpless. He never saw Aaryan angrier than this, he was always kind and patient around his little brother.

Agasthya's silence lightened up Aaryan's fury. It was painful for him, he is the one who always taught Agasthya to be honest. At least to his dear ones.

"I expected better from you... My fault..."

Agasthya bowed his head, while tears made their way through his face. He couldn't find words to prove himself, Aaryan was hurt to the core.

"I thought you love me as much you love Anirudh..."

Agasthya glared at Aaryan with shock. He felt things running out of their hands.
"What do you mean, bhaiya?"

Aaryan didn't wish to give any explanation. He didn't wish to hurt Agasthya more. He was waiting for Anirudh.

But Agasthya wasn't ready to leave that topic there. He was broken, Aaryan's words killed his soul.

"What do you mean?" He cried holding Aaryan's hand.

"Nothing..." Said Aaryan. He cursed himself for letting his innermost thoughts be out.

"Bhaiya... Please... I am sorry for that... But it is nothing like you think... I swear..."

"Don't irritate me Agasthya..." Screamed Aaryan. He was enough with everything.

"Why are you shouting at him, Aaryan?"
Asked Anirudh in surprise. He couldn't understand what was going on between the two.

"I was waiting for you, Anirudh..." Aaryan replied in a cold voice.

Anirudh shook his head in disbelief but shocked when he saw Agasthya crying.

"What happened August? Did he scold you?"

"Why did you tell me to lie to him, Ani bhaiya..." Whispered Agasthya's moving away from Anirudh's hold.

"What?" Anirudh felt his heartbeats getting faster. Something went wrong, terribly wrong...

"Why did you fool all of us, Anirudh?"
Asked Aaryan making Anirudh turn towards him.

"What is wrong with you Aaryan?"

"Stop this drama, right now..." Roared Aaryan throwing the file infront of Anirudh. "You have to answer..."

"How did you get this?" Asked Anirudh.

"Doesn't matter... But this is the best proof to trap Akash Malhotra... I am going to inform the police about this..."

"No... Aaryan please... Don't do that..."

Aaryan smirked, his doubts were being stronger.
"Why?"

Anirudh exhaled to cool himself.
"I beg you... Please don't do that... At least think about our father..."

"Father... Really? When did you begin to call him 'father'? He is a criminal... He did a crime..."

Anirudh looked at Agasthya who was standing there like a statue. He couldn't even think about uncovering something about their father infront of him. It can affect Agasthya more than anything.

"Aaryan let's discuss it later... Please..."

Aaryan never felt this much hatred towards Anirudh before. How can he be this much low? How can he choose family pride over truth? More than it, how can he address a person like Rajeev Thakur as 'father'...

"Drug bussiness is a crime, Anirudh... They were producing most costly drugs in their factory... Not medicine... F4 MEDICARE was a well planned illegal drug production company."

"I know... I know, Aaryan... But please don't include August in this all..."

"Why not? Let him know the real face of his 'loving' father and his 'Superman' brother..."

Anirudh lost all his control.
"Shut up Aaryan..." He shouted.

Aaryan smiled back.
"I am not a child to get afraid of you, Anirudh... What is your deal with Akash Malhotra?"

"Deal? Are you out of your mind?"

"I already told you to stop this drama... I was shocked and confused when I saw this file in your shelf. You told me that you don't know anything about Prathap Deshmukh and Karan Chowdary... Then what about these photos? I was trying to justify your acts because I had a belief that you won't do anything illegal but... I lost my last hope when I came to know that you were with Akash Malhotra today... And if you can take Agasthya with you, why are you trying to keep everything away from him..."

Anirudh was about to intervene but Aaryan stopped him.

"Let me complete... This one paper can make Akash Malhotra surrender infront of the law... We can escape from him, forever... I know it will cost the good image of Rajeev Thakur, but he deserves it... He is no one to be called as a great scientist. He misused his knowledge for the worst... He became the part of drug mafia... I am ashamed of him..."

"Enough... Aaryan..."

"I won't be silent anymore, my dear brother... Covering a crime is also disgusting as committing it... And you did that... But I won't... It will be the last day of Akash's happiness. He has to answer the law..."

"You won't say anything to anyone..." Anirudh whispered. He was prepared himself for the worst, nothing can break him.

Aaryan moved close to him.
"Why are you trying to save Akash Malhotra? What is your secret deal? Why are you playing this double game?"

"I am not saving anyone..."

"I know that you can be cruel and smart... But I never expect you to make Agasthya the same..."

Anirudh caught Aaryan's collar with firing eyes.
"How dare you? How dare you to use these kind of words for August..."

"Stop it bhaiya..." Agasthya cried while trying to separate his brothers. He had seen them fighting, many times... But this was the worst... They were like enemies... More than it, they fought for him. He was the reason.

"Why did I lie to Aary bhaiya..." Whispered Agasthya covering his face and sitting on the floor.

"Agasthya lied to me... I know he loves you more... I know it's you, who say yes for everything he wants... I am the one who control him, scold him when he do anything wrong and..." Aaryan took a break to wipe his tears and turned to Agasthya.
"I also love you more than anyone, August. But I can't allow you to risk your health. I wanted you to grow up as a person with morals, that's why I did so...  There is a difference between caring and spoiling, Agasthya... And I hope one day you will realise that I wasn't wrong..."

Anirudh sighed. He felt sad for Aaryan, but he couldn't do anything.

Aaryan somehow composed himself. He wasn't ready to be weak for anyone.

"I am not ready to obey you, Anirudh... I don't trust you... If I believe you now, it will be like embracing danger and crime at the same time... I will try my best, let the world witness the truth... I will make Akash Malhotra confess about everything he did."
He said before leaving.

"You can't even meet him, Aaryan..." Murmured Anirudh.
"And remember one thing...Half truth can be toxic than lies..."

Aaryan turned back with tears in his eyes.
"But can't be more toxic than you..."
