21. A Guest
"August... I am your Ani bhaiya calling you... Won't you open the door for your bhaiya?"
A loud sob escaped from Agasthya and that sound pierced Anirudh's heart. It was enough for him to understand how much worried his little brother was.
Without any lag Agasthya pulled open the door. How can he deny his Ani bhaiya?
"What happened to you August?"
Asked Aaryan while taking a deep breath of relief.
"Nothing bhaiya... I am ok..." Murmured Agasthya avoiding an eye contact. But his brothers easly sensed that it was nothing but a huge lie.
"No need of acting in front of us, Agasthya..."
Anirudh said. His frustration was clear in his words. He couldn't even think about his own state a few seconds ago.
Agasthya's sobs slowly transformed into a heartbreaking cry. He desperately wanted a hug from any of his brothers. He couldn't find a better place to relay on other than his brother's shoulder.
Both Anirudh and Aaryan understood that and Anirudh started to extend his hands for his August.
But Agasthya's vision was completely blurred with tears. He moved more forward and embraced Aaryan tightly.
Aaryan was shocked to the hell that he first forgot to hug him back. It was unbelievable... Agasthya chose him, leaving his Ani bhaiya...
Anirudh slowly patted on Agasthya's back. His eyes were already filled that Aaryan failed to see the fresh tears forming.
Never in his life Anirudh felt this much sorrow. It simply torn him into pieces. He remembered the initial days of Agasthya, when he was afraid of him. Each and everytime Agasthya moved more close to Aaryan, Anirudh's heart pained like anything. May be others call Anirudh possessive and selfish in this case, but as a brother he really felt jealous. But he believed that he could change it by loving Agasthya but now it again proved that he is not comfortable for his baby brother... At least not comfortable as much Aaryan is...
Aaryan silently watched Anirudh. His expression didn't change even a little and from that Aaryan guessed what is in his mind. It was Anirudh's habit to be more silent and calm when ever something touch his heart badly.
But before solving it he had to deal with Agasthya.
Aaryan pushed Agasthya more and more close towards himself and continuously kissed on his hair and forehead. He felt his left shoulder being wet with Agasthya's tears but he didn't ask him to stop crying.
"Cry as much you want, August... Let it all flow out with your tears... I don't want anything to be left in your mind about it to hurt you again..."
He slowly whispered on Agasthya's ears and just like his expectation those words gave his brother some peace. Slowly Agasthya got a control over his grief and stopped crying but didn't break the hug. He rested his head on Aaryan's shoulder and closed his eyes.
"Is he having a panic attack?"
Asked Anirudh. He couldn't see Agasthya's face and that gave him more worry. Anirudh was never like Aaryan. It was impossible for him to say his brother to cry, even though it was better than suppressing everything.
He can't see his loved ones in tears. And now it is happening to Agasthya. No matter he prefers Aaryan more than him but Anirudh can't suffer his tears.
"No... His heartbeats are normal... I can feel it..."
Said Aaryan while gently separating Agasthya from him. If not it will make Anirudh more and more tensed because Agasthya wasn't speaking anything.
"Please don't cry anymore..." Anirudh wiped Agasthya's tears immediately and the latter nodded.
"Why are you allowing those stupid news reports to hurt you Agasthya? Do you think that we will let them to touch you?" Asked Aaryan.
"No Aary bhaiya... I know you both won't let them to arrest me... But..."
"But? What 'but' August?"
"I... But... " Agasthya stammered. He couldn't connect words properly.
Being alone was Agasthya's biggest fear throughout his life. He was actually relaxed for some days because of the presence of his brothers in his life but now that fear again started to grab his mind.
"I can't bear another separation from you two... I won't go with them... I don't know anything about the murderer... How can I help them to kill my papa? I don't know anything... Believe me please... Don't hate me..."
Agasthya again started to hiccup.
"What are you saying Agasthya? How can we believe them and hate you? "
Exclaimed Aaryan and slightly slapped on Agasthya's cheeks.
"I will kill you if you repeat anything like this... Promise..."
Anirudh sighed. The damage formed in Agasthya's mind by the news was permanent. It will remain there, forever...
*********************
That night was the most terrible one for Anirudh. Despite of all their pleads Agasthya refused to sleep. He had some nightmares whenever he tried to sleep so he decided to stay awake but ended up with increasing his headache. He vomited once so Aaryan strictly made him eat painkiller. Atlast somehow he slept cuddling to Anirudh.
"It's being really hard for him to suffer... Actually for me, also..."
Aaryan sighed.
"I know..."
"Why should we keep silence anymore? Just kill her... End this. As soon as possible..."
"It's not easy as you think Aaryan..."
"But will be easier than watching our August's breakdown..."
Uttered Aaryan over his breath. He behaved as cool in front of Agasthya but he wasn't.
"I don't think money is the real reason behind her actions... There is something more serious... A reason we should find."
Aaryan was fed up with Anirudh's reasoning and guessing.
"If you can't, I will go to her."
Anirudh smiled.
"I am not afraid Aaryan... But we should be well prepared... We have Agasthya with us...Don't forget that..."
****next morning****
Anirudh couldn't get up from the bed because Agasthya's head was resting on his chest. To avoid breaking his sleep, he decided to spent more time on the bed.
"Did you read the newspaper?"
He asked to Aaryan.
"I read it twice before throwing to the waste bin. Nothing more. Same senselessness."
Suddenly they heard the rang of the calling bell. Aaryan moved towards the door holding a gun behind him.
He stared her for a moment. She was their most unexpected guest.
The person who he hates the most, the one made their life a hell.
It was Simran Malhotra standing there.
Aaryan pointed the gun towards her face. Only thing he wished was her death. Now God gave him a chance to do it by his own hands.
But she smirked making him numb. Her next movement was that much swift that Aaryan couldn't do anything. She forcefully slapped on his hand by her upper arm making the gun fly from his hold and fell on the floor, two or three meters away from them.
"You can't defeat me by a gun, Mr.Aaryan Thakur... It may be a weapon for you but just a toy for me..."
