"What happened?"Cried Agasthya.

Aaryan gulped in terror. He felt himself being utterly helpless.
His Anirudh was fighting for his life...

"Aary bhaiya say something..."

Aaryan glanced at him. Agasthya's face was being more and more red. His lips were shivering and he was gasping...

That made Aaryan remember about that cursed night. He found Agasthya in his room almost in the same state.

With a great effort Aaryan controlled his tears and cupped Agasthya's face.
'He can't bear another shock now'

"Agasthya... Actually Anirudh is in the hospital... He... He had an accident..."

Agasthya startled. But before he could break down Aaryan hugged him tightly.

"But he is safe... He is safe..."

Agasthya rested his face on Aaryan shoulder. He tried his best to believe his brother's words.

"Are you sure... " he asked in between sobs.

Aaryan closed his eyes. He lied.

"Yes... He is safe..."

"Can I see him once... Please..."

Begged Aaryan to Meghna. She sighed. Tears made their way through her face.

"We can do nothing until his operation is done. You can meet him after that. And have faith Aaryan... He will survive..."

Aaryan slowly shook his head in agreement.
"He won't leave me alone... He will survive... I know..."

Meghna remembered the words Anirudh told to her for Aaryan, before being unconscious...

"I promised Aaryan that I will be back... Say him to be brave... I won't leave him alone..."

A smile unknowingly lightened up her face. Sometimes love and belief can be helpful than any medicines.

"He will survive " she repeated. "He has to keep a word for his brothers..."

They both were speaking in a very low voice so that Agasthya couldn't hear their conversation. They both decided to keep Agasthya away from the truth. Meghna made him believe that Anirudh had only few scratches and was isolated to avoid infection.

Aaryan slowly walked towards Agasthya who was standing at a distance holding the frame of a window.

"Why are you standing here Agasthya... Come, sit with us..."

"Were you lying Aary bhaiya?" Asked Agasthya avoiding an eye contact.

"Why... Why did you ask so?"

Agasthya didn't reply. He continued staring out through the window. Aaryan's gaze also followed that of Agasthya's.

Anirudh's car was lying outside of the hospital. It was collapsed. There were a lot of blood stains on it...

"Agasthya... I... I am sorry... But you are unable to bear another shock... That's why I lied... But he is fine now... We can meet him after few hours... Don't get panic..."

Agasthya didn't utter a word. Aaryan dragged him from there to avoid that terrible sight of Anirudh's car.

It was a sleepless night for all of them...

****next morning ****

"He is conscious... You can see him now..."

Meghna said to Aaryan who was waiting outside Anirudh's room. With out wasting a moment Aaryan rushed in but Agasthya didn't follow him.

"Don't you wish to meet your Ani bhaiya?"

Agasthya sighed. "I can't see him in this state didi..."

Meghna sighed. "Be strong Agasthya..."

Agasthya blinked his eyes to stop his tears.

"I need some time didi..."

....... In side the room.......

"Ani..." Aaryan whispered.

Anirudh was lying on the bed. There were bandages on his head and hand.

Anirudh smiled at Aaryan while the latter broke out in tears.

"Please don't cry Aary... I am ok..."

Aaryan took a deep breath and smiled at his brother. Nothing can make Anirudh weak, but his tears can... Aaryan knew that.

"Where is Agasthya?" Anirudh asked with a shock.

Aaryan turned back. He didn't realise Agasthya's absence yet.

"I think he is standing outside... I will call him..."

"No..." Anirudh said. "If he doesn't want, then it's ok..."

Aaryan sighed. He felt hurt in Anirudh's voice. He wished to make him understand about Agasthya's feelings but before that he had a question for his brother.

"Ani... You have to tell everything to me... Right now..."

Anirudh tried to deny but Aaryan was adamant.

"Ok... I will tell you... First forgive me Aaryan... I have lied to you, several times..."

Aaryan was really shocked and sad inside but behaved normally.

"It's ok Ani... It's ok..."

"I resigned my job..." Anirudh said.

"What? Then where were you going in these days?"

Anirudh stared at his brother.

"I was in search of our past Aaryan... The past which is hunting us now..."

Anirudh was serious. Aaryan gulped.

"What do you mean?"

"Mr. Rajeev Thakur always leave us in the middle of sufferings... But this time there is a change... We are almost in the middle of a danger Aaryan... A danger which is not far from death..."

Anirudh took a pause. He has to share everything with Aaryan now. They have to be together. There is no other option.

"I think you remember nothing about F4 MEDICARE, but I do..."

Aaryan moved close to Anirudh.
'How many lies he had told to me...' That thought left him in dismay.

"F4 MEDICARE was Mr.Rajeev Thakur's dream project. He was planning about the largest pharmaceutical company of India. Their prime goal was to provide medicines in low price to support the patients who are financially weak... They also planned about a biochemical laboratory and research centre, where they can make advanced medicines..."

"Then?"

"But F4 MEDICARE stopped it's service just after two months of it's inauguration..."

Aaryan couldn't connect it with their life.
"But we have no relations with that Ani... And who is your enemy?"

"We have Aaryan. Not only us but she also have a relation with it..."

"Who is she?"

"Simran Malhotra... The most successful business woman in Mumbai... CEO of Malhotra industries... Only daughter of Akash Malhotra... Akash Malhotra was our father's former friend and business partner..."

"Ani... You mean..."

"Yes... F4 MEDICARE was their project!"

Aaryan sighed. He always hates business matters. In that world money is everything... It is totally unfamiliar for him...

"But why does she torture us now? After this much years..."

"She wants money... She can be a demon for that...She neither aim me nor you Aary... Her aim is Agasthya... Now he is the only heir of Mr.Rajeev Thakur's properties..."

"But how could we decide it without any proofs?"

Anirudh smiled bitterly. "She is the only one who knows about Agasthya's arrival..."

That striked directly on Aaryan's heart.
"Do you think that she is the one behind Prakash uncle's murder?"

"May be Aary... He had known about Agasthya..."

"Oh God..." Aaryan murmured. "What can we do now?"

"I tried my best to gather informations about F4 MEDICARE but I failed...She is faster than me..."

Aaryan felt his soul being burned in rage... First she tried to kill Agasthya and now Anirudh...

"I won't leave her... She touched my brothers... She will pay for that..."

Anirudh exhaled. A single unplanned step can cost their life.

"She will regret..." Repeated Aaryan.

"Aaryan don't react on your temper..."

"What do you mean Ani? Why should I wait... She will kill Agasthya..." Shouted Aaryan.

"NO ONE WILL TOUCH HIM IF I AM ALIVE..."

Aaryan glared at Anirudh. He was yelling.

A sob escaped from Agasthya's mouth. He was standing at the door but none of his brothers saw him yet.
He couldn't hear any of their words other than Anirudh's last shout...

Agasthya's eyes became filled with tears and pain... Anirudh's wounded body made Agasthya more weak...

"I am the reason... I am the reason..."

Anirudh heard his cry but before he could react Agasthya ran from there.

Anirudh tried to get up but Aaryan stopped him and followed Agasthya.

"Agasthya... Why are you crying..." Asked Aaryan while embracing him tightly.

"I shouldn't entered into your life Aary bhaiya... I am the reason..."

Aaryan patted on Agasthya's back. "Don't repeat this stupidness..."

Agasthya was continuously murmuring something...
Each and everything he locked deep in his mind tried to flow out simultaneously...

For a moment Agasthya lost his control...

"They tried to kill Ani bhaiya... Like Papa's murder... they..."

With a jerk Aaryan broke the hug. He pulled back Agasthya forcefully to see his face...

"What did you say? Papa was murdered..."

Only after that question Agasthya realized that what he had said.

"Agasthya... Answer me..." Screamed Aaryan shaking his brother.

Agasthya covered his face by both of his hands. He felt his heart bursting into thousand pieces...

He broke another promise...
