The Girl who lived in a Cabin

✩✩✩

In a ship of blue outside this world,

Was a person locked up, a lonely little Girl

Her clothes were tattered, her face was white

Unfamiliar to the contrast of days and nights.

Invisible guards held her back

So she never jumped out of her barrack

And lay around all day , unknown to tears,

Unknown to love and unknown to fears.

One fine day a golden ray through cracks hit,

Lighting and warming her veiny feet

Up with something to be curious about;

It made her feel like she was finally found.

Looking from her window, out and beyond

She saw a shiny yellow orb smiling in front

"Hello, I'm The Sun," it's voice shook her spine,

"I'm you're friend now, and you'll be alright."

The Sun stayed with her for several of hours,

Suddenly disappearing after a shower

And not seen anymore from the window again,

But this time waiting was a new silver friend.

"Hello, I'm The Moon," it's voice hushed her down,

"I'm another friend like The Sun from now."

It played with the ocean to make her laugh,

And the little Girl felt free in her shaft.

Watching through the window she understood soon,

Her pristine friends, The Sun and The Moon

Visited her in cycles of love,

Smiling encouragement and joy from above.

Slowly, in the blue ship outside this world,

There resided now a merry little Girl,

With her heartstrings harmonizing in her room,

Happily lived The Girl, The Sun and The Moon.
