And So Romeo Forgot His Lines {2}

***Seamus’s POV***

I got off my bus and flung open my front door. I went up the stairs and kicked off my converse in the hallway before going into my room. A smirk spread on my face as I thought of Alex. Oh how I enjoyed torturing that stupid prep.

I heard a thud out in the hallway. “OW! Damn shoes! Seamus I am going to shoot you!” “Yea, yea, yea, you have fun with that,” I called as my door handle shook. I put on my music to Brokencyde “Booty Call”.

Laying down, I began to think of ways I could torture Alex in geometry. Throwing shit at her, poking her, kicking her, tripping her, making fun of her when she got answers wrong…oh yes this would be a fun year.

***Alex’s POV***

I was outside during recess playing with Paige. “Let’s swing!” she cried and we hurried over to the open swings.

“Want me to push you?”

We looked at the red head. “Sure,” I said with a smile. I had never talked to him before. The teacher always had him in time out. I sat on the swing and felt myself falling to the ground. “Ow!” I cried. “I said I’d push you,” he said with a mean smirk.

“Seamus Fitzpatrick! I saw that!” the teacher said and stormed over to us. “Alexandria, honey, are you okay?” I sniffed and pointed at the jerk. “He pushed me!” Our teacher helped me sit up before turning on Seamus. “That was very bad Seamus! I’m taking you to the principal and we will be calling your mommy.”

He stuck out his tongue at her. “I don’t care!” She led Seamus away towards the school.

And from that moment on, Seamus Fitzpatrick and I became enemies.

***Current Day***

I was sitting on my bed looking at the yearbook. Seamus had been adorable as a kid. He had had straight red hair that framed his face. It was nearly touching his shoulders and made his eyes stand out. But now he was just an ugly little emo fag.

Sighing, I spent about a half hour picking out my adorable outfit for tomorrow before showering and doing my hair. I went downstairs. “Hello darling,” mother said with a bright smile. “Hello mother!” I said and sat down with a glass of water.

“How was the first day of school?” “It was good. My teachers seem…well, fair I guess.” Daddy looked up from reading the paper.

He took a bite of toast. “What about that rude young man? Was his name Sean?” “Seamus. I only have one class with him daddy.” I sat down next to daddy. “Tell me if he gives you trouble,” he said and I smiled. “I can handle myself.”

The next day at school, however, showed me I might need some help.

Paige and I walked into gym in our short shorts and pink Nike shirts. “Well check out the sluts!” I glared as Seamus came over to us with Richie and his friend Jay.

“We are NOT sluts you stupid emo!” Paige snapped. Seamus was wearing black and blue Tripp shorts and a tight black tee with his usual wristbands. His friends were wearing similar clothing.

“Hey Shame, I hear we’re playing dodge ball today. I think we have our targets,” Jay said. He was an emo with brilliant aqua eyes, a slight tan, and brown and blond hair. “I think you’re right Jay,” Seamus agreed.

Coach called out attendance and had us line up. He paired us off into teams and told us we would indeed be playing dodge ball. I was on a team with Paige and stupid Richie.

Grinning, Seamus and Jay went to their side of the gym.

People grabbed dodge balls as coach blew his whistle to start the game. Paige and I, being cheerleaders, were able to dodge the balls Seamus and Jay whipped at us. I felt something hit me in the back of the head and glared at Richie as he threw more at me.

I almost screamed when a ball smacked me in the face. Mother of flipping French toast that hurt! Seamus was laughing his ass off.

Ignoring the fact that I was out, I picked up a ball and hurled it at the stupid idiot.

Seamus easily caught it in his hand and raised an eyebrow at me. “Really? Come on Barbie, you have to do better than that.” Ugh!

I whipped balls at him until Coach realized I had been out for about twenty minutes.

Class ended and I stormed off to the locker room to change. “What a jerk!” I cried in outrage as I pulled my jeans on. “I agree. I vote our school kicks out all emos!” Paige said. I could not agree with her more.

Our day passed until we were back in the hell known to teenagers as geometry. Mr. Capria was talking about the units as someone kicked me. “Seamus!” I hissed as he chuckled quietly. “Ms. Arnold! Do I have to give you detention on the second day of school?!” “No s- ouch!” Seamus had basically shoved his foot up my ass.

“Mr. Fitzpatrick and Ms. Arnold! Stay after class!” He shrugged. “Sure thing Mr. Pedophile.” The class giggled but shut up instantly once Mr. Capria’s face began to go red in anger.

Class ended and I had to stay after with Seamus. “Now then Mr. Fitzpatrick, I will be calling your home immediately. I do not want this type of behavior in my classroom. I will not tolerate it! Are you listening to me?!”

Seamus shook his head. “Huh? Oh sorry dude. I was staring at your bald spot. Try miracle grow or something. Anyways, I’m out. See ya later Alexandria.”

“I’m sorry sir,” I said once Seamus had strut out the door. “I’ll try to ignore him.” Mr. Capria put his hands on his waist. “You get distracted very easily.” “I’m working on it.” He sighed but allowed me to leave.
