Let's Go Get Him

"No, he's not! He's not dead! He can't be!," Dean shouts. Sam looks over concerns, "What are you looking at? Keep reading,"

"Ab insidis diaboli, libera nos, domine. Ut ecclesiam tuam secura tibi facias, libertate servire, te rogamus, audi nos. (the chair starts to slide around the circle) Ut inimicos sanctae ecclesiae humiliare digneris, to rogamus audi,"

"He will be," Meg screams out. I walk out of room. I head was starting to pound hard against my skull. I sit down at the table and place my head into my hands. I must have closed my eyes because the next moment I'm being woken up by Sam as he tells me that we need to go to

Jefferson City, Missouri. And something about a Sunset. I follow him into the room where Meg lays dead on the floor blood pouring from her pale lips.

"You better hurry up and beat it. Before the paramedics get here," Bobby tells us.

"What are you gonna tell them," Sam asks.

"You think you guys invented lying to the cops? I'll figure something out. Here take this. You might need it," He hands book to Sam as he ushers us out the door.

"Thanks," Sam tells him

"Thanks... for everything. Be careful, alright. We will see you soon," I tell Bobby placing my arms around the old man giving him a hug. Before walking off.

"You just go find your Dad. And when you do, you bring him around, would you? I won't even try to shoot him this time," Bobby tells us with a chuckle. We all nod our heads and get into the car driving to our new destination Jefferson City, Missouri.

Dean had parked the Impala by some train tracks. Sam is looking through the Key of Solomon book on the roof of the car, spinning a marker in his hand. I'm sitting beside Sam reading and memorizing the pages. Dean is at the back of the car, loading up guns and putting them into his duffel bag. Dean is very solemn, and Sam and I look over at him, concerned.

"You've been quiet," I tell Dean.

"Just getting ready," Dean replies.

"He's gonna be fine, Dean," Sam tell him. Dean doesn't answer and Sam flips to another page of the book. He sees a symbol and picks up the book to walk to the open trunk lid. He rubs off the dirt and starts to draw on the lid.

"Dude, what are you drawing on my car," Dean yells out.

"It's called a Devil's trap. Demons can't get through it or inside it," I tell him while staying seated on the hood.

"So," dean asks Sam moves around to the other end of the trunk, and states, "It basically turns the trunk into a lockbox,"

"So," dean askes again.

"So, we have a place to hide the Colt while we go get Dad," I tell Dean from the front.

"What are you talking about? We're bringing the Colt with us," Dean tells us.

"We can't, Dean. We've only got three bullets left. We can't just use them on any demon, we've got to use them on the demon," Sam tries to reason.

"No, we have to save Dad, Sam, okay? We're gonna need all the help we can get,"

"Dean, you know how pissed Dad would be if we used all the bullets? Dean, he wouldn't want us to bring the gun," I try to reason with Dean as well.

"I don't care, guys. I don't care what Dad wants, okay? And since when do you care what Dad wants," he tried to turn it onto us.

"We want to kill this demon. You used to want that, too. Hell, I mean, you're the one who came and got us at school," Sam states. Dean scoffs, "You're the one who dragged Ariel and I back into this, Dean. We're just trying to finish it," Sam tells him.

"Well, you and Dad are a lot more alike than I thought, you know that? You both can't wait to sacrifice yourself for this thing. But you know what? I'm gonna be the one to bury you. You're selfish, you know that? You don't care about anything but revenge," Dean yells.

"That's not true, Dean. Nor is it fair. We want Dad back. But they are expecting us to bring this gun. They get the gun, they will kill us all. That Colt is our only leverage and you know it, Dean. We cannot bring that gun. We can't," I tell him hoping to end this fight. I get off the hood and walk around.

"Fine," he tells us. Dean takes the Colt out of his jacket pocket and holds it up to show Sam before putting it in the trunk. We are walking by the river. We step up beside some trees and Dean stops.

"Hey, hey," Dean tells us. We stop and look at him, "Think I know what Meg meant by Sunrise".

Sam and I look over and sees an apartment building with a sign out front that says "Sunrise Apartments".

"Son of a bitch. That's pretty smart. I mean, if these demons can possess people they can possess almost anybody inside," Dean tells us.

"Yeah, and make anybody attack us," I tell him.

"And so we can't kill them – a building full of human shields," dean states with a sigh of defeat.

"They probably know exactly what we look like, too. And they could look like anybody," Sam agrees, "Alright, so, how the hell are we going to get in".

Dean looks over at the building for a minute.

"Pull the fire alarm, get out all the civilians," Dean tells us.

"Okay, but then the city responds in, what, seven minutes," I ask.

"Seven minutes exactly," Dean tells us.

Sam walks in the front door and goes to a fire alarm on the wall. The alarm goes off, and Sam leaves the building. Shortly after people are leaving and firemen are coming in. I walk up to one of the firemen.

"Hey, what's happening? Is it a fire," I ask concern lacing through my voice.

"We're figuring that out right now, ma'am. Just stay back," the fireman tells me.

"Well, I've got a Yorkie upstairs and he pees when he's nervous," I start to tell him as I walk back in front.

"Ma'am, you have to stay back," I move away and see Sam coming around with three uniforms in hand. After we get dressed in full gear we go into the building. Dean is using his EMF to check the doors of the apartments. Dean's EMF starts reading high. Dean knocks on the door letting them know that we are with the fire department and that they need to leave. When the door unlocks we shove it open. We walk into the apartment and start to spray the couple with Holy water from their tanks and it burns them. Dean punches the man and shoves him into a closet.

"Come on," dean shouts. I grab the woman off the table and shove her in as well. Dean leans against the door and it lurches as the demons inside try to get out.

"Hurry up," Dean shouts over to Sam. Sam grabs a canister of salt from the duffel bag and runs a line around the closet door. As soon as he finishes it the pounding stops. We take off the fireman gear and move to the bedroom door. They slowly open it and see Dad on the bed. Dean goes over to our father.

"Dad," dean leans down and appears to be listening to something, "He's still breathing".

Sam and I look relieved. Dean starts shaking Dad.

"Dad, wake up. Dad," dean shouts. Dean takes out a knife and is about to cut the restraints around Dad's wrists.

"Wait. Wait," Sam shouts.

"What," dean questions.

"He could be possessed for all we know," Sam states.

"I know it sounds crazy, but Dean, Sam may be correct. We got to be sure," I tell him. Sam takes a flask of holy water out of the duffel bag and sprinkles it on Dad. It has no effect. Dad moans and starts to come around.

"Sam? Why are you splashing water on me," dad asks coming to.

"Dad, are you okay," Dean questions.

"They've been drugging me. Where's the Colt,"

"Don't worry, Dad, it's safe," I tell him as Dean cuts him free.

"Good job kids. Good job," he tells us getting up.

Dean and Sam are carrying Dad out of the bedroom. I walk in front of them making sure the coast is clear and ready to fight if need be. The front door suddenly bursts open and the man and fireman come in.

"Go! Go," I yell out to my brothers,

"Back! Back," dean yells.

They go back into the bedroom and close the door locking it. I start to fight off the man, I get in several good swings before he starts swinging the axe around I back up into the door and allow the axe to go through the door. I kick the man back away from the door and try to make a bee line to the tanks that held the holy water. Before I get grab one the man dashes in front of me. He knees me then as I lean down he uppercuts me making my lip split. I knee him in the nuts and bend down to grab the salt bag that Sam left earlier.

I quickly make a circle around the man, and make a dash to the fire escape running down just to see Dean shot a man who was kicking Sam. I walk over to Sam and help him up. Dean is standing with the Colt. He puts it away and grabs dad off the ground.

"Come on. We got to get out of here," Dean tells us. He carries Dad to the car and I help Sam limp getting us both into the back seat.
