Dear Lord

After the boys finished up with work, they meet up with Blair and I who have been researching into what this creature could be. They told us about the little girl who has seen a clown and that they were to go to her house while we continued our research.

"So Ariel, what were you doing before," she asked me.

"I was a nurse, though to be fair I am still kinda a nurse between how often these boys get hurt," I tell her chuckling.

"I can only imagine," she tells me with a smirk.

"So what got you into hunting," I ask her.

"My family. Its part of the lineage, or so I was told growing up," she told me.

"Ah, so family business strikes again,"

"Yeah, I guess,"

Suddenly the door slams open and the two idiots I call brothers walk in.

"So the kids let the clown in, we stopped him from killing another family, but we had to ditch our van," Dean tells us Sam following in behind us.

"So any thing else you can give me," I ask.

"We aren't dealing with a spirit, the rock salt hit something solid, and not a person because it can go invisible," Sam tells me.

"Well nothing that I can think of anything in Dad's journal. This must be something new," I tell them.

Sam grabs out his phone and starts to call someone. Dean looks over at him strange.

"Who are you calling," Dean questions.

"Maybe Ellen or that guy Ash'll know something. Hey, you think, uh, you think Dad and Ellen ever had a thing," Sam asks. I look at him grossed out as Blair snorts in response.

"No way," Dean tells him.

"Then why didn't he tell us about her," I question.

"I don't know, maybe they had some sort of falling out," Dean responds.

"Yeah. You ever notice Dad had a falling out with just about everybody," Sam states. Dean and I nod in agreeance. Sam lowers the phone.

"Well, don't get all maudlin on me, man," Sam tells Dean.

"Whose hungry I could go for some pancakes, Ariel," Blair as if to make the subject get dropped.

"What do you mean," Dean questions Sam.

"You know, Blair, I think I can. Boys," I tell her wishing for the fight of egos to end before fist start to fly.

"I mean this "strong silent" thing of yours, it's crap," Sam tells him

"Oh, god," Dean tells him looking annoyed.

"I'm over it. This isn't just anyone we're talking about, this is Dad. I know how you felt about the man," Sam tells Dean hoping for him to open up.

"You know what, back off, all right? Just because I'm not caring and sharing like you want me to," Dean tells Sam.

"Dean, Sam just cares and is concerned. To be honest I am too. You haven't cried or said anything, and its starting to scare me," I tell Dean getting up from my seat and placing a hand on his left shoulder.

"She's right, Dean. I don't care how you deal with this. But you have to deal with it, man. Listen, We're your siblings, all right? We just want to make sure you're okay," Sam contributes in.

"Dude, I'm okay. I'm okay, okay? I swear, the next person who asks me if I'm okay, I'm gonna start throwing punches. These are your issues, quit dumping them on me," He tells us back. 'Dear lord, and here we go again.

"What are you talking about," Sam questions. I look back at Blair shrugging my shoulders.

"I just think it's really interesting, this sudden obedience you have to Dad. It's like, oh, what would Dad want me to do? Sam, you spent your entire life slugging it out with that man. I mean, hell, you, you picked a fight with him the last time you ever saw him. And now that he's dead, now you want to make it right? Well, I'm sorry Sam, but you can't, it's too little, too late," Dean tells him, "And Ariel, Daddy's little girl. Funny how quickly you left with Sam. I had to beg you to come back and find dad. And even then you needed Sam to come with. You are so worried about me, and yet, I haven't seen you shed a tear or break anything,"

"Stop it," I tell him barely over a whisper.

"Why Ariel, can't take the truth. Always there for dad as a little girl, but when you were able to leave you left no note attached. I wonder how that made dad feel. Oh, wait. I know. Wanna know why, because I stuck around. I heard him cry for the first week because he felt like he failed you. Hell in your mind he might have, but I can promise you Ariel. There was never a time that he wasn't watching out for you. You were always on his mind and no matter what you did and how much you succeeded in life he was there watching you gain all the things he thought you deserved in this life-"

"Dean let it go," Sam tells him trying to keep him from further digging in to my ass.

"Why Sammy, I simply telling the princess the truth," He tells him back. I scoff.

"YOU SERIOUSLY THINK I DIDN'T FEEL LIKE CRAP LEAVING?!? Dad TOLD me to. He KNEW about my career choice. Before I left he told me how proud he was of ME. ME. Dean. He knew where Sam and I were going to go. He KNEW that I would help more people with gaining the knowledge that I wanted to gain. He KNEW that I planned on coming back after I finished gaining the knowledge I had been longing to get because I would be able to help more Hunters than most are able to get. I HAD a plan and dad KNEW about it. So stop trying to be an ass, and let it the FUCK go. People are DYING, and we need to figure out what creature is doing it. So if you two boys do not mind I think Blair had a great idea to get some breakfast, since when you are cranky you need to eat. Sam while we load up call, Ash and see if you can get any information. That way we can plan and eat," I smile at the end and walk outside to Blairs car. The boys and Blair followed behind me and got in. I made Dean sit up front while Sam and I sat in the back. Sam got in touch with Ash and Ash said he would call with info in a bit. On our way back from an awkward breakfast. Sam gets a call and hangs up the phone.

"Rakshasa," Sam tells us.

"What's that," Dean questions.

"Ellen's best guess. It's a race of ancient Hindu creatures. They appear in human form, they feed on human flesh, they can make themselves invisible, and they cannot enter a home without first being invited," Sam tells us.

"So they dress up like clowns, and the children invite 'em in," Dean states.

"Yeah," I tell him.

"Why don't they just munch on the kids," Dean questions.

"No idea. Not enough meat on the bones," I tell Dean.

"What else'd you find out," he further questions.

"Well, apparently, Rakshasas live in squalor. They sleep on a bed of dead insects," Sam tells us. I shiver at the thought. Clowns I can deal with bugs, that is where I draw the line.

"Nice," Blair states almost as grossed out as me.

"Yeah, and they have to feed a few times every twenty or thirty years. Slow metabolism, I guess," Sam further explains.

"Well, that makes sense. I mean, the Carnival today, the Bunker Brothers in '81," Blair states.

"Right. Probably more before that," Sam tells us.

"Hey Sam, any idea of who we know that worked both shows," Blair questions.

"Cooper," he tells us.

"Cooper," Dean agrees.

"You know, that picture of his father, that looked just like him," Sam tell us.

"You think maybe it was him," Dean questions.

"Well, who knows how old he is," Blair explains.

"Ellen say how to kill him," Dean questions.

"Legend goes, a dagger made of pure brass," Sam tells us.

"I have two pairs of Chinese daggers made of brass. Ariel can borrow a pair, you two need to find some,"

"I think I know where to get one of those," Dean tells us.

"Well, before we go stabbing things into Cooper, we're going to want to make damn sure it's him," Sam explains.

"Oh,you're such a stickler for details, Sammy," They smile at each other, "I'llright, I'll round up the blade, you go check if Cooper's got bedbugs.
