"Everything is sacred, everything is good."

If this is so true,

then why do we do

this shit to each other?

Why do we argue and fight,

and so obviously delight

in tearing each other down?

If I am to be remotely sacred,

then you should be skillfully read

and able treat me with humane respect.

And, if you are to be so praised,

then children? They ought be raised

to live without bigotry, hatred, and greed.

For only then will all life be holy,

and only then can we be solely

one planet, one species, united.
