(Poem based on light)

Ready is the sun

to shine brightly

in our eyes.

Oh, to have that heat

on our faces,

hear our sighs.

Yet, there are cloudy

times, days ahead,

go lightly!

Go out tomorrow

while the high sun

shines brightly.

Better to laugh than

to cry, it's true

so do it.

It's a glorious

day to be here,

to be lit.

Verily, I say,

"Show us your smile,

and have might."

April, wonderful,

is this daily

bright, white, light.
