Jewel

I had enough time to change into new clothes, I put on my black pants, black knee high boots, a white shirt, and my black leather jacket. I washed my hair in the sink and quickly dried it and pulled it to the side. I ran outside and closed my eyes thinking of Cody, he was in the cage still I looked around they were almost here I decide to practice really quick in what I was going to do, I fired a Star at a tree, I found out if I lay my hand flat I shot a disk.

I practiced with my new power, it was shakey I wish mom was here she could help me with this I thought of her and saw markings on her like fire burned her skin I knew the Hunter had something to do with it I could heal her later, they were about an hour away so I sat down and closed my eyes thinking of the new mark then I flash came in my head and I saw the new spirit of my mark.

"Hi I'm Grav."

"Hi?" I said not knowing how I can talk to them

"It is an honor to be on your presence holder, but anyway I called you here to let you my story of the Hunter."

"Okay." I sat down and held my knees waiting for her to start.

"It happened a longtime ago, I was friends with Light and she told me of the Hunter and that he survives anything, I went out and found him he had someone with him that had tentacles for arms, he grabbed me but I moved a branch from a tree to make him let me go, the Hunter tried to make me is Slave but I hit him with a rock when I was almost his.."

"That happened to me!" She smiled

"I know, I can see you through this mirror." I looked at where she was pointing and I saw the sky, that's what I was looking at before I was here.

"Grav I need to go back I need to save my family." She nodded

"But before you go, an old friend is calling you."

"Who?"

"Howdy miss Jewel." I turned around and saw the cowboy holding his hat.

"It's you."

"That's right miss and I didn't get to tell ya my name is Cover."

"Cover? You all have strange names."

"Well it's more of I nickname."

"Oh is there anything else?"

"Yes miss there is, I bet you didn't know that with my mark you can talk to the person, and hear what they say?"

"Wait was that you who was sending me visions?"

"Yes, I'll do some explaining later right now go get your family."

"Thank you Cover." He tipped his hat and I was back in my yard looking at he sky they were here.

Brad

I looked down and saw the house wishing I could be there with Jewel in my arms, I wonder what happened to her. Then I saw a flash of light come toward my cage and the star hit the cage with a zap, and again, it was weakening I pushed on the bars where it hit only to find out it was only bending a little. One more shot did it and I pushed making a hole I looked up the Hunter wouldn't notice I gulped and fell out I almost hit the ground when I felt me being slowed down I looked at saw Jewel trying to hold my back side.

"Jewel you can let go now." She sighed and breathed heavy I hit the ground and ran to her before she fell over.

"It's okay Princess." She snuggled close.

"I missed you saying that."

"I missed holding you, but what about the others?" We looked up and watched as they flew a little out of sight.

"I might be seen, where were you guys heading?"

"Ummmm a valley of some kind that was in a forest."

"Valley of no return?"

"Yes! How did you know?"

"I heard about it, it will take two days to get there by bird I think maybe a day."

"Lets get going, are you able to stand?"

"I don't know, your heavy."

"Well then, your not though." I picked her up over my shoulder and heard her laughing.

"Brad no! Put me down!" She laughed in between words as I was putting her down he leg went into my stomach she tried to stop laughing as we fell over.

"I missed that sweet laugh of yours Princess."

"I missed you making me laugh, I act like we been apart for days but really we were only apart for a day and a couple of hours."

"Let me lighten up the mood then." I leaned in and kissed her hard she wrapped her arms around my neck and without breaking the kiss I sat on one knee and picked her up, this time nicely and she trailed her hand down my chest to my heart and put her head next to it.

I started walking to where the birds started flying holding my princess everything was going to be okay.
