I stood looking at the Hunter hoping my face showed my anger.

"Yeah here I am, now," I got into a fighting stance with stars in my fist, "Let...Them....Go!"

He laughed but why...."Oh dear," He took off his sunglasses, I closed the my eye that had the scar only looking at him with my powered eye, "I believe you had a dream similar to this did you not? Now let me see if I can remember it has been sometime, oh yes your little boyfriend here." He looked at Brad.

"No Brad don't look!" I screamed but it was to late, his eyes became cloudy and the bird dropped him.

"Now Brad did you ever love Jewel?" He said putting his glasses back on, I opened both my eyes.

"No." That hurt my heart the Hunter knew it.

"Why dear boy?"

"Sure she is pretty but we rushed into a relationship, how can you love someone so quickly?"

"Brad don't listen to him! I'm not! We both knows what happens when you look into his eyes! I love you Brad and I know you feel the same, fight it!" I said to him with tears in my eyes even though I know the Hunter took his love of me away I couldn't help but feel my heart aching.

"You heard her Brad, Fight." With that Brad ran toward me but not until the Hunter threw him a sword, the same one he had when we met.

"Brad no I don't want to fight you." I said quickly avoiding the first swipe, why isn't he snapping out of it? When mom got hit dad snapped out of it, could it be that our love really is fake?

"Then hold still and let me make it quick." He said with a smirk, I kept avoiding his blade I couldn't take anymore I fired a star at the blade sending it flying out of his hands then I used my mind to lift him up slightly just as I did when he was falling.

"How does it feel Jewel? Knowing what you had with him was nothing?" I heard the Hunter beside me, I couldn't talk to him I kept my eyes on Brad.

I thought about everything he said, I thought back to the mountain, in the cave, him fighting for me, and even our small fight.

I then thought of a dream I had when I was only 14.

I was running, I don't know what for or where I was going but I didn't stop, I saw a small flame I ran to it, it almost looked like a birthday candle, I made a wish everything I girl wants right? Her prince charming, I blew it out and was surrounded by darkness, I then saw a small light of a lantern, it was my prince, he was on a beautiful white horse.

"My lady, I have come to take you away from the darkness." His voice was soothing and very sweet, I took his offered hand, I looked up into his eyes, I will never forget them, they were Brad's that was his voice, I was his princess.

I opened my eyes with tears falling he soon landed gently on the ground, "Don't ever say that you don't love me, you have proved it Brad." I walked toward him and put my hands on the side of his face and looked into his eyes.

"Don't let them win, I love you." The clouds in his eyes started to disappear.

"Jewel.." He quickly wrapped his arms around me, forgetting everything around us.

"I'm so sorry Jewel, I'm so sorry." He pressed his face into the side of my neck, just as I was about to wrap my arms around him he was torn away from me and fell off the cliff.

"Brad!" I screamed and ran after him, I jumped and quickly wrapped my arms around him, why couldn't I give him my powers? My powers would help me if I was hurt or even killed, but please, please let him live!
