Brad

I woke up and didn't see Jewel.

"Jewel?" I whispered afraid I might wake up Cody and Elisa, I walked outside and saw her, her hair was down and blowing in the wind she had her knees up and she was holding them with her chin resting on her knees. She was wearing Jeans,black boots, and a white long sleeve shirt.

"Good morning beautiful, how was your night? Mine was wonderful with you by my side, when I, open my eyes to see your sweet face, it's a, good morning beautiful day." She loved that song she turned around and I she smiled but I saw tear streams it took us two days to get to the cabin from the clubhouse we didn't stop, we have been here for three days.

"Brad it's been a week."

"I know Princess but we can't find where they are all we can do is wait for him to show up like he always does."

"But I don't want to do that I was on the right trail he has a force field up so I can't get to him."

"I know baby I know." I wrapped my arms around her and held her close as we watched the sun rising.

Jewel

We needed to make a plan so we went inside and found a map of this whole place.

"Okay so this field is where our house is." I pointed and we marked it.

"This is the Cabin and here is where we were held captive." Brad marked them as he said them I hated to think what my parents were going through right now.

"Look here is the lake and across it is mountains." I said I got as far to the bottom of the mountain.

"Then will head there but what about Cody and Elisa?" He asked he was right they couldn't be there to dangerous.

"Remember the trap door?" I asked

"Yes."

"Well lets clean it up and put them in there and they should be safe."

"That's my Princess." He wrapped his arms around me and kissed my cheek.

A few hours later we finished cleaning the downstairs.

"This is going to be fun!" Cody said and was about to jump down but Brad grabbed him.

"Fun comes with rules." I told him he let out a sigh and they sat on the couch.

"Okay no going outside or upstairs, don't be to loud, be quiet if you hear footsteps or voices, don't come after us, use your powers if you need them, and most importantly watch out for each other."

They nodded and sighed I know it was a lot but it will keep them safe. We helped them down and gave them books, clothes, barbie's, cars, a broad game, blankets, pillows, water to fill a desert, and food to feed an army for months.

"How will we know its you?" Cody asked.

"I will knock right on the door which will be pulled down by this rope just in case and there is a loose board here that leads outside and towards the woods head in the direction of home if anything happens and lock everything." They looked scared and I brought them into my arms.

"I know it sounds scary but those are in case of an emergency and you might not have to even use them but I do want you to tie the door down." I knew they felt a little better Brad taught them how to tie the knot and how to untie it I gave them a hug and a kiss and Brad gave Elisa a hug and Cody a high five.

They closed the door and I tried to open it then Brad.

"Looks good and here is what the knock will be." I did our secret handshake knock on the floor.

"Bye!" They said together and we packed a bag and left.

"How do we get across?" I asked when we got to the lakes edge. If we had a bridge it would be easier.

"Swim?" Brad asked

"Sure." We made sure everything was safe in the bag we took off our shoes and started swimming over.

"Brad hold up let's take a rest." We swam until we were in the middle I was tired and just had to float to catch my breath.

"Ok babe but only a few minutes." I laid back and looked at the sky the sun was going down but then I saw a shadow.

"Brad what's that?" I pointed to the sky

"A bird?" Biggest bird I have seen around here Brad came closer and put a arm around my waist as we watched it.

"Jewel?" I looked over at him and he was about to kiss me but then lighting almost hit us.

"That's a machine bird!" Brad yelled and he brought me under the water we started swimming fast as lighting bolt after lighting bolt tried to hit us in the water one soon hit me.

Brad

I grabbed Jewel and went up for air.

"Brad I'm okay." I looked her shirt was ripped in the back and she was bleeding.

"Does that take away your powers?"

"Not for me but to my family."

"Hold your breath." I said we went underwater and I let go we got to the land and the bird started coming at us with his talons facing us. Jewel shot it but it still came at us she shot it again and again and again.

"Trying looking for a weak point." She said it looked like everything was metal but the head had everything in it.

"The head aim for the head." I said she did and it seemed to have a reaction to it. I got out my bow and arrow an shot at it I didn't see it after I made that shot I heard Jewel scream.

"Babe!" It was flying up with my Princess in it claws I gave one more shot and it dropped her running toward her and made one more shot and it fell into the water. I caught her bridal style and she was shaking with fear she rested her head on chest as we watched the thing that touched my girl go to the bottom.

"That's what you get for messing with my girl." I dropped her legs but still held her close.

"My knight in shining armor." She said

"You don't touch my Princess and get away with it."

"Oh Br......" I cutted her off by kissing her.

We started walking again and we found a dry cave.

"Can we start a fire?" Jewel asked I know it was probably going to get cold at night up here.

"Will they see it?"

She closed her eyes and touched her mark on her eye.

"They are in the middle of the mountain a huge crater in the middle is where they are hiding."

"We are in the south the smoke will go south but I don't want to take that chance."

"Okay." She said I turned as she changed into the outfit I met her in and then I changed and gave her my jacket. She laid a few feet away enough I could touch her with my fingertips. I walked over and picked her up and sat down and set her between my legs she turned on her side and rested her head to hear my heart beat. I wrapped a blanket around us wrapped my arms around her.

"Brad?"

"Yeah?"

"You know how in Disney they marry people by first sight?"

"Yes."

"Well I seen you in my dreams."

"I seen you in my dreams too."

"So it was like destiny making us met."

"Yeah, but whatever is thrown at us I will threw back harder." I said hugging her tighter.

"I love you my prince."

"And I love you more than you will ever know my Princess." And with that we fell asleep. No matter what happens I will love Jewel no matter what she will be my Princess.
