It's night by now I can smelled smoke, why is he burning a fire?

I struggled with whatever was on my wrist it wasn't coming loss I wonder where Brad is I saw him he was hiding behind a few trees only a few feet from me then he jumped I was back into darkness. I felt heat on my left right cheek.

"Let me out!" I heard Brad scream I felt a hand move some of my hair off my face, "Don't touch her!" Brad screamed at the Hunter. "Open your eyes Jewel to save him." "Jewel don't."

"I will make him my servent." He said in a hiss "if you won't."

"Very well." They were loosened enough for me to get my mark out, I opened my eye slightly enough to see him turned around facing the fire cage that had Brad inside I pulled my hands out and slide off the log and opened my eyes.

"Jewel!" She slipped on a rock and started to go down the river I ran down the other side and grabbed her hand it was freezing I pulled her out and held her close while kneeling on thge ground.

"I'm so cold." She was shaking I pulled off my jacket and wrapped it around her I picked her up bridal style and started walking back toward the house I dought he is falling us, I opened the door and walked in her mom starled face.

"She's fine." I told them what happen, "she's still awake."

"I fellll intoooo the rivvveerrr." She's still shaking Cody walked over with tear streams down his eyes.

"Don't worry little man she just needs to warm up." I walked upstairs and laid her down on the bed she hugged my neck.

"Jewel you can let go now."

"Brad after all I said you came after me."

"Well go get changed and then we can get you something to eat and watch something okay?"

"Okay." She walked in her closet and came out with her hair down and half dry, long sleeved pink shirt and long pants. She walked over to me and I hugged her and lifted her chin.

" I will never let him hurt you again." and kissed her deeply I took her hand and we walked down everyone had gone to bed. I made some popcorn while she sat in the living room I walked in and Beauty and The Beast was starting I sat on couch and she laid on my chest I kissed her head. She fell asleep when the movie was half over I pulled the blanket over her and flipped her over and held her close she snuggled close to me.
