Back again with chapter nine, hopefully you people enjoyed the last chapter. This chapter will explain what Azura, Kylie, and Jae are as well as the identity of the mysterious being from the end of the last chapter. Without further adieu...

Jae and Kylie were sitting next to Azura as he wore an oxygen mask with bandages wrapped his chest watching him sleep. Tails was checking his vitals watching the two girls.

"Azura must mean that much to you two," Tails said.

"You have no idea," Kylie said as Jae slugs her playfully as she had a frown on her face. With a sigh, Kylie leans back in the chair looking up into the air.

"Hehe, there's never been a time where Azura wasn't able to help us out," Kylie said, "So, you are correct with your statement earlier."

Tails sat in a chair looking at the female hedgehog and arctic fox. He leaned forward smiling slightly.

"Let's start at the beginning," Tails said, "Cause Eggman brought about something about 'knowing what you hedgehogs are?'."

Jae frowns slightly looking at Kylie. She sighs leaning forward as she pinches her inner eyelids thinking.

"Well, how do I put this," Kylie said, "Jae, Azura and i aren't apart of this era."

Tails tilts his head understanding that Silver was from the future.

"I know about time travelling since Silver is from the future," Tails said with a smile. Kylie sighs shaking her head. She gets up and walks over to a computer that was there for checking on Azura. Kylie began typing as several images popped up. The images were giant colored stone tablets. Each stone depicting a emerald in the center and the people around it.

"These are the Stones of Chaos," Kylie said, "Ancient stone tablets that have exist for millennia. Archeologists had came from all over the world to translate the ancient text."

Tails nods intrigued by the images. Examining closer, Tails's noticed something as Kylie nods.

"There are eight tablets, seven for the Chaos Emeralds and one for the Master Emerald," Kylie said, "'Upon these stones lies an ancient history. Unlike any civilization in ancient history that existed...' that is translated from the red stone of chaos."

Jae then translated the rest as Tails listened to them.

"So, you three are from the ancient era," Tails said as the girls nodded, "What does that have to do with Eggman?"

"I figure you were going to ask," Kylie said typing once more. The seven stone images disappeared leaving a grand stone tablet that was dabbled with lots of color on it, "'Out of the ancient clans, nothing could compare to the power flexibility of the Chaosians, an ancient group of beings rumored to be connected to the Ancient Creators of the Chaos Emeralds'. That last part is slightly correct. Only certain people are descendants of the Gods."

"So, what are you telling me?" Tails asked still confused. Kylie giggles a bit then points at the image of the Master Emerald. Tails shrugs still confused then he examines the image as his eyes widen seeing the picture of an azure hedgehog on it.

"'But the shocking discovery was the idea behind a being controlling the limitless energy of the God Emerald,'" Kylie translates, "Scribes of the Chaosians wrote that when witnessing the coronation."

"So wait... That means," Tails said as he, Kylie, and Jae looked at Azura.

"Meet Prince Azura the Chaosian Hedgehog," Kylie said, "The last descendant of the Master Emerald."

Tails then remembers the results of Azura. He pulls them back up as he examine them closely.

"When you're done, please delete them," Jae said kindly as Tails nods. Deleting them after reviewing them, Tails stares at Azura.

"A prince, I- We didn't know," Tails said, "And a hedgehog that could control the Master Emerald even going to the limits and using the power."

"That's why I had his memories locked away until he was ready," Kylie said, "As the Chaosian Oracle, it's my job to keep Azura and the clan safe. However, we couldn't say that peace was very hard to break. Every now and then, the clans would go to war with us only to be driven back from the sheer power we possessed."

"Uh-huh," Tails nodded slightly intrigued with the story. Kylie goes into further explanation about the ranks and how Azura is ranked the highest due to the Master Emerald marking on his left forehand.

"Azura is rank one followed by me at two and Jae at rank three," Kylie said removing her glove having the seven chaos emeralds grouped together on her left forehand while Jae only had six of them on hers.

"Woah, so you two must be really gifted," Tails said as the girls smiled.

"We have our own talents," Kylie said as Jae leaned against the wall.

"Im a mechanic for the group and recon extraordinare," Jae said bowing, "with a slight don't care attitude."

"And I'm the telepathic but mostly the technologist of the three," Kylie said, "which makes Azura the lead strategist as well as combat expert."

Tails smiles slightly looking at Azura who slept quietly.

"Well, I'll tell my friends what you told me," Tails said as he runs off. Kylie and Jae smiled then stared at him with puzzling looks.

"WHY CAN'T I BEAT THAT BLASTED AZURE HEDGEHOG?!" Eggman yells kicking pieces of random junk in his base. A dark chuckle explodes in the barely lit room as Eggman looked around.

"Because he's out of your league," a voice said as black chaos energy forms with a midnight blue hedgehog appearing. His demon like gray eyes staring like daggers into the doctor's glasses, "You truly don't know what he is. But that will change."

"And why should I trust you," Eggman said, "You look like him"

The midnight blue hedgehog growls as black chains shot out wrapping around Eggman. The hedgehog then chuckles darkly.

"Sorry... I have problems when people compare me to that faker," the hedgehog said.

"...What is your name?" Eggman asks. The hedgehog chuckles smiling a ferocious grin.

"Syn the Black Chaos Hedgehog," Syn said releasing Eggman, "Glad to be working with the genius Dr. Eggman."

Eggman smiles shaking Syn's hand nodding.

"Let's get to work," Eggman said.
