Well, I already have someone complaining about cliffhangers. *Sigh* well, this chapter will hopefully contain no cliffhangers. Anyways... Let's jump into Chapter 10

Azura woke up two days after the initial incident noticing he was inside his room. A smile forms on his face as he got hearing the bones cracking in his back from lack of movement. Azura groans in relief and discomfort as he stands up.

"Damn, that put me out for at least a day or so," Azura said seeing himself in a mirror as he noticed the bandages around his chest. He sighs slightly remembering what happened as he walks towards the door opening it and stands in front of a bat wearing an one piece cat suit.

"Ahh, you're finally awake," The bat said as she smiles, "It was hard making sure your friends were getting fed."

"You must be Rouge the Bat," Azura said as the bat nodded, "and thanks for watching them."

"How much of your memory were you able to regain?" Rouge asks, "I was required to ask you by that knucklehead."

"All of my childhood mainly, but I got a few more memories after the fiasco with Eggman," Azura said, "I know I'm the last of my kind in the world but i don't remember why. And my memories are showing the Chaos Emeralds as if they're tied to me."

"Huh, that means if we find the emeralds," Rouge said, "We'll get your memories."

"That is the most logical route," Azura said as the pair enter the kitchen and Azura was immediately wrapped in hugs from Kylie and Jae.

"Oh thank Chaos you're safe," Kylie said as everyone else walked over.

"You gave us quite a scare," Silver said, "You alright?"

"Except for having bandages on me, I'm alright," Azura said, "Did we get the emeralds?"

"Yep," Kylie said showing Azura four emeralds. Yellow, white, red, and a deep blue were the colors of the emeralds present as Azura walked over to them. As he steps closer, the emeralds began glowing brighter causing the marking on Azura's forehand to glow vibrantly.

"Yes, this is the answer I'm looking for," Azura said nodding as eyes went from his magenta color to deep emerald green slightly, "I need the rest of the Emeralds."

Kylie smiles nodding in agreement.

"Do you remember your life?" Kylie asks as Azura closes his eyes.

"...Yes, I know I'm the last of my kind but not why," Azura said as Kylie nods.

"Well, we better find the rest of the Chaos emeralds," Kylie said, "Where are the last three?"

"They're in the hands of Dr. Eggman," Sonic said, "We were lucky to get the two that were powering the ship."

Azura frowns a bit as Kylie pats on his back.

"We'll get them back," Kylie said. Tails approaches Jae whispering in her ear.

"Alright, me and Tails are gonna work on something that may help us getting the emeralds," Jae said following the twin tailed fox. Azura and Kylie nodded smiling slightly as they began talking to everyone else.

Eggman and Syn walked into a room where the last three emeralds were contained. Syn picks up the purple emerald smiling.

"So, what is this brilliant plan of yours?" Eggman as the other two emeralds began floating around Syn.

"A simple resurrection trick," Syn said walking towards the exit of the base. Eggman followed curious about what Syn said.

As soon as they reached the outside. Syn closes his eyes as the emeralds began glowing a harsh black color.

"By hatred, by darkness," Syn said as the sky darkens with lightning and thunder sounding, "I call upon the creature of dark waters. Rise again, Chaos!"

The water creature slowly forms from the three Emeralds' negative energy. It's green pupiless eyes stare at Syn curiously.

"Welcome back," Syn said placing his on Chaos's head, "my servant"

Syn's hand glows black as Chaos began howling in pain and began taking on a black color appearance. Syn smiles as the energy dies down revealing a more ferocious version of Chaos.

"Dr. Eggman meet Shadow Chaos," Syn said as Shadow Chaos growls slightly. Dr. Eggman was wide eyed staring at the creature.

"He's powerful," Eggman said as Syn nods. The three chaos emeralds then fuse with Chaos's body giving him more energy.

"He's been infused with negative chaos energy," Syn said, "Something that Sonic, Shadow, nor Silver can't defeat."

"But the azure hedgehog could?" Eggman said as Syn nods.

"But he can't without the knowledge how to defeat a Shadow Creature," Syn said, "And that lies within his memories. By now, he would have realized that he needs all seven chaos emeralds to unlock his memories completely."

"So, what you're saying is that we keep the last three Emeralds away from Azura and we can rule the world without problems?" Eggman said as Syn nods.

"Precisely," Syn said as Eggman chuckles evilly. Syn turns to Chaos and spoke in another tongue as if giving an order which Chaos responds with a feral howl and disappears in a drainage pipe.

Everyone was in the living room chatting with each other when the news came on. Sonic immediately jumped up noticing the creature.

"Chaos?!" Sonic said as everyone but Shadow, Silver, and Azura jumped up in fear. Kylie however had more fear in her eyes at the darkness around the creature.

"Come on everyone!" Sonic said as Kylie grabbed the emeralds bringing them.

After running or flying, everyone reaches Station Square as Chaos was causing destruction near the police station. Sonic growled as he rushes Chaos only to be knocked back by Chaos's watery tendril hand.

Shadow and Silver began launching different projectiles as Chaos absorbed them into his body firing that back at the hedgehogs. The pair were struck then launched back by a water tendril.

"That's not normal..." Sonic said getting to his feet. Kylie stared at Chaos for a moment then noticed the evil aura radiating off its watery body that caused Kylie to go wide eyed in fear.

"It's not p-possible," Kyle said as the last word came out as a tremble, "Black Magic should be extinct."

"Oh but it is possible," a voice said as Chaos had its mouth open letting the voice come through.

Jae's eyes burrowed as Kylie's eyes widen at the voice. Azura frowns as he fists tightened up.

"Syn..." Azura said as the voice laughed a bit then fell to chuckles.

"So the great prince remembers me," Syn's voice said as Azura walked towards Chaos, "I wouldn't do that."

The last three emeralds glowed within Chaos as Azura stops dead in his tracks. Chaos took the opportunity to strike Azura only for Azura to disappear before the attack connected. Chaos twitched slightly before taking a foot to the head and being launched into a building wall. Azura held up his hand catching the purple Chaos Emerald.

"Well, i guess i better beat the daylights out of you to get the other two emeralds," Azura said taking on a battle stance as the purple emerald radiated vibrantly as Chaos released a screeching noise.

I will do the true fight scene next chapter. Hopefully you enjoy this chapter. And it will be slow updates because I have a job now. Sorry for the inconveniences that have rose and hopefully I will continue writing soon.
