🎤Chapter Four🎤
Jin was sat on his chair, he faced the mirror and now he had to do his own make up. It wasn't that hard because he knew how to from his debut days as an anchor. He sighed as he powdered his face. How long had he been an anchor?
"I need coffee," Jin yelled as he massaged his head and he was grateful to see Jimin walk towards him. "Ah thank you... I'd like an espresso-"
The coffee boy walked straight past him to sit on the camera man's lap.
"Hey baby," Jimin hummed into Yoongi's ear.
They kissed.
And the vein on Jin's neck was growing, his face ready to burst from the red that coloured his skin.
He quickly played his national anthem, humming "bow bow bitches," as he made his way to the new couple. Clearing his throat and tilting his hips he glared at them. But they were too busy smacking lips to notice.
So Jin did what he had to do and parted their faces. "Oh, there you are Jimin," Jin grinded through his teeth, he watched the two carefully as his hands remained on their heads. "I couldn't seem to find you earlier for my expresso; I didn't know you were hiding in Yoongi's mouth." He retracted his hands, instead resting them on his hips.
Yoongi sighed, first fixing Jimin's hair before doing his own.
"Jin, I don't work here anymore." Jimin mumbled as he helped Yoongi fix his ruffled hair. And that's when Jin noticed the ring.
"You guys are getting married?!" Jin shouted, it was enough for the whole studio to look their way. Namjoon made a grab for his tablets. Taking two before gulping water down. He knew what was going to happen.
"He proposed last night," Jimin smiled, he was about to kiss his fiancé again but Jin pulled his hair back. The younger mumbled an ouch.
"Jin," Yoongi sighed, "Please don't do that."
Jin crossed his arms, "okay that's cool and everything, now can I have my coffee?" he was totally bitter from being single most of his life, and the fact the two were younger and already getting married didn't help. But bow bow bitches, at least Jimin didn't get a modelling contra-.
"I don't work here because I'm a model at the same agency Taehyung is in," Jimin explained.
And the vein on his neck was on the verge of popping. "You what?!"
He felt a hand on his arm, as if it was holding him back, it was Namjoon. "Jin come on, let's talk."
He glared at the two lovebirds, "hiss hiss," He whispered as Namjoon dragged him outside and into his office.
The doors closed behind him and the director threw his hands up in the air from desperation. "Jin, can you stop attacking every ex-employee we have at this news agency?"
"Only if they stop leaving here to become models!" Jin brushed his hair back, it was all messy and he probably had to do it again before going live. "Taehyung left to be a model, and now Jimin is a model... oh and married by the way, thanks for the invite!"
Namjoon placed a hand on the anchor's wide shoulders, "Jin, even though they left, they were your friends, you and Taehyung were great on the show and you were less... bitter, self-indulgent and, I mean, confident about your handsome face."
"What's the point in having friends when they're snakes anyway? At least snakes know who Beyonce is?" Jin muttered," And my face is handsome. You can't just say I'm not or I will fight you too-"
And then it happened.
It was the only way for Jin to shut up.
And perhaps it worked because the director had pressed his lips up against the finally silent anchor, pushing him up against the wall.
Oh.
He didn't know if it was the overwhelming feeling of being alone, but Jin couldn't stop his arms from wrapping around Namjoon's neck. Fist gripping hair. Moans feeding into each other's mouth. Namjoon hummed on the older's lips and Jin liked how it felt.
He felt the director undo the anchor's first button.
Jin broke the kiss, heavy panting as he rested his forehead on Namjoon.
"Joon-ah," He mumbled. His eyes shy away, he could see himself panting heavily from the mirror. They were both a mess.
"Sorry," Namjoon replied, he stepped away from Jin, fixing his own shirt and running his hand through his hair.
They didn't meet eyes. Who could possibly explain what they've been doing for a while? These little escapades in the office, that never got any further than kissing. And when they kissed they couldn't explain it, it seemed like the only time they didn't come into any disagreements. Jin fixed his shirt, and finally he brushed his hair back.
"I need to go do my make up again." He mumbled.
That's what it was always like.
Like it didn't happen.
Namjoon cleared his throat, "Tae and Jimin are being interviewed on our show, about their modelling career."
"Excuse me!" Jin yelled.
It was that easy, for him to return to normal, like he was unaffected.
"Jin, be good, we need to know-"
He looked at Jin and he didn't like what he saw. The man had an eerie grin etched on his face.
"Oh, I'll be good," Jin smirked as he opened the door. "I'm a bad bitch." He whispered.
The door closed behind him and Namjoon was left there all alone. He sighed as his fingers brushed his lips.
He smiled like a fool.
Just business as usual at BT21.
