Welcome home.

That night. When Wad went back home. His boyfriend was home early. From his trip to Venice. Prem travelled a lot, being a fashion photographer. Making it impossible for Wad sometimes to keep a tab on wherever Prem was.

"Hey Bear... Welcome back." Prem welcomed Wad. From the kitchen.

While Wad kept staring, at the apron wore boyfriend of his. Busy inside their kitchen.

"I made dinner. All your favourites." Prem smiled. Busy with his job.

Not noticing the way Wad was in total surprise and relief.

When Prem was done serving their dinner over the table, he finally faced Wad. With a smile.

"Aren't you happy? That I am back home, early?" Prem pouted.

Wad blinked away his tears and ran towards Prem. Who was surprised. But, caught hold of Wad. Who all but drapped himself around Prem.

"Woah... Woah." Prem chuckled. Holding Wad. "You must have missed me a lot?"

"Welcome home. P'Prem." Wad brittled.

"Hey." Prem caressed Wad's hairs. "What's wrong?"

Wad shook his head. Sobbing, resting his cheek against Prem's shoulder. Prem frowned, but didn't comment. As he kissed Wad's head. He kept being an Anchor, he knew Wad was needing that moment.

Ming was done with his shower. Now, waiting for his surgeon to be back home. He didn't want to be clingy. But, he wanted to be with Phana.

So, when he came downstairs. And found the said man, sitting over their couch. Resting back. Ming all but went and sat right over his lap. Hugging Phana sideways. Hiding his face in the crook of Phana's neck.

"You are heavy." Phana groaned. Yet, hugged Ming closer. "What's wrong?"

Phana kissed Ming's nose tip. Then forehead. And a soft kiss on Ming's lips.

Ming didn't reply, as he kept hugging Phana. Feeling safe and warm.

"Will you look for me? If I ever go missing?" Ming whispered.

Phana gaped, cupping Ming's face. Looking down at the troubled eyes. He frowned, dabbing his thumb over Ming's cheek.

"Mingkwan... What's wrong?"

"Will you?" Ming whispered. Gazing back.

Phana sighed, without leaving Ming's gaze.

"I'll travel till the ends of earth. IF... I ever let you disappear." Phana mumbled, nudging their noses.

Ming smiled through his tears, hugging Phana. Resting his chin on Phana's shoulder.

"Cheesy..." Ming drew in shaky breathes.

Phana chuckled. But, was extremely worried about whatever triggered the vulnerability in Ming. So, he decided to be the support Ming was needing.

"P'Pha..."

"Hmm? Mingkwan?"

"Welcome home."

"I didn't expect you to be back so early." May smiled, hugging Aim. The moment he walked in. "Welcome home."

Aim walked ahead and hugged his fiance. Inhaling the smell and feeling the warmth.

"What's wrong, Aim?" May caressed, Aim's back.

"Promise me, you won't go or do anything, out of my knowledge."

May frowned, but nodded anyways. "I won't Aim. I promise."

"P'Tew. You are here?"

Tew looked over, to find Dae come out of Ocean Electronics. Smiling at Tew.

"I came to pick you up."

Dae tilted his head, but felt glad none the less. As he entwined his fingers with Tew's. And walked towards Tew's car.

"Dae.." Tew broke the silence.

"Yes?"

"I know you don't like troubling people... But, could you please. Inform me your whereabouts. Just once a day?"

Dae stopped and looked sideways at Tew, with a frown. Tew looked troubled. And Dae didn't like it.

"What's wrong?" Dae caressed Tew's shoulder.

"Please. Just promise me."

Dae didn't argue. As he nodded instantly. "Okay. Okay I promise. I'll call you."

Tew smiled, gratefully. As he pulled Dae in his arms. Hugging him tight. Dae chuckled caressing Tew's back.

Oak watched his laptop screen. Tapping furiously. His frown going deeper, ever passing second.

He couldn't trace Reaper anywhere. Even after hacking his way in the Dark Web.

It was almost like, he dropped on the face of earth out from the sky. Went 'Mad Butcher', for continuous five years. And then disappeared.

Only to drop again. After three long years. Murdering the sinners, in literal senses. His victims included rapists. Sometimes other villains, but mostly rapists.. Whome he gave the most ironical deaths.

They assumed it was a man. Looking at the way every witness claimed they heard the creepy whistling. And moments later, one or two man would disappear.

His identity was unknown. Only that he appeared in the dark of night. Whistling the creepiest tone. Before, grabbing his toy.

Reaper didn't just go after anyone. He went after the most notorious in the field. Giving them death, they deserved.

And Oak was straining his brains, to find the beginning of it all. And it only took him to one particular case. Where seven men were brutally murdered in an abandoned building. They belonged to the shadows no doubt. But the motive of murder was still unknown. Which made the police shut the case, claiming it to be a part of gang commotion.

He was famous among the civilians. Some even went to the extent of calling him a 'Superhero'. And Oak, secretly agreed.

After what he saw and heard, just few hours back. Oak was sure, those motherfuckers deserved death, more painful, then the punishments of Abyss.

Oak was pulled out of his thought when he got a call from his mother.

"Hey mom."

"Are you back home?"

"Yes mother." Oak sighed.

"Okay. Take care of yourself. And eat properly will you?"

Oak smiled. "Yes. Yes I will."

"Are... Are you okay?"

Oak rubbed away his involuntary tears. And sniffled.

"I am fine mom. Don't worry."

"Whatever it is. It'll be fine. Okay?"

"Yes... And mom. Will it be okay, if I bring one of my seniors, home. Sometimes?"

"You don't need to ask. They are always welcome here."

"Thanks mom."

Knott was pinching the bridge of his nose. Listening to the non stop lecture, from the other side of the phone.

"I know it is that untamed dog of yours, causing this unnecessary situations. Get a leash on him."

A vein in Knott's head snapped. Making him see red for a second. He straightened.

"Unnecessary, you say?"

The other side went quite.

"Trevor McKinley, Sir. Rapes, murders, organ harvesting. You claim them to be unnecessary?"

"I... I am not. It's just the approach. You... You should take things in your hand. He is going wild. Everyday."

Knott thought for a moment. "Maybe I should take things, in my hand."

"See. I told you." Trevor chuckled nervously.

"Maybe... After I close Reaper's case. I'll take the promotion, they'd been so keen on giving me." Knott replied. "And then, I'll pull away the little left leashes that binds my Dogs. And I will make Kongpob, the next in command. Thanks sir. You really are a great leader."

"Knott..." Trevor sighed.

"If there's nothing left. I'll like to call it a night, sir. My wife's pregnant. And she is more snappier than a rottweiler at the moment."

"Okay Knott." Trevor replied in a small voice. Disconnecting.

"I heard that."

Knott looked over to find his heavily pregnant wife, Pod. Standing on the door of his office. Looking at him. With a pout. She was way younger than Knott. But, the best companion, he could ask for.

Knott's eyes fell on the swell bump. Pod was holding. And he felt something twitch inside himself.

"Come here." Knott opened his arms.

Pod followed. Though pouting and mumbling incoherently under her breath. She came and sat over Knott's lap. As he drapped his arms around her, protectively. Caressing her bump. And resting his face against her chest.

"Are you okay, Knott?" Pod hugged her husband.

"I am fine, Pod." Knott kissed, over his unborn child. Feeling his chest tighten. "I love you. Both of you."

Pod smiled, kissing Knott's head. "We love you too."

In the warmth of their family and lover's embraces. Safe from everything else. Having someone to welcome you home. To say that they love you, and care for you. Having someone to prepare food for you and wait till dinner.

The very warmth they were receiving. Twisted their insides. Reminding them of someone, who was ripped of it all. Though, they were basking in the warmth of their home. Having someone to call them and talk. Filled them with endless 'what ifs'.
