Next Morning, Ruhana wakes up and finds Vineet is already awake. She is surprised when he hands her a packet. She looks at him.

"Yeh kya hai?" she asks.

"Saree hai tumhare liye. Abhi toh tumhare pas koi samaan nahi hai na, ye pehen lo. Baad mein tum apne ghar se samaan le aana." Vineet says.

Ruhana nods and makes her way into the washroom. She takes a shower and reminisces Vineet's words from the last night. He has been so supportive to her. He could also step back. But what all they did was for the family. She's happy that at least he understands her. She finishes the shower and gets ready in the saree. She looks at herself in the mirror. Her life has changed with one decision. She's here wrapped up in a saree, and also has tied a knot with someone she doesn't know. She comes out of her trance on his voice.

"You look beautiful." he says.

"Mujhe better feel karvane ke liye kuch bhi mat kahiye. Hum toh ek anchahe se Rishtey mein bandh chuke hai." She says.

"Aur is Rishtey ko nibhane ke liye hume sath mein rehna hoga. We did it for our families after all." Vineet says.

Ruhana looks at him. He is so understanding. He understands what's bugging her, just like her father. She is thankful that she's not alone in this. Vineet is by her side. Amidst all the thoughts, Ruhana thanks Vineet and they move out of the room, hoping his parents to understand the situation.

They greet Ronit, who blessed them both. Well, he didn't have the guts to say something. He pats Ruhana's head.

"I'm sorry, beta." it's all he can say.

"Aap sorry mat kahiye. Shayad meri kismat mein yahi likha tha." Ruhana says politely.

"Lekin ye hona hi nahi tha." Ronit says, his voice full of grief.

"Aapne suni hi nahi, dad. Aapko aur mom ko fikar hi nahi thi. Ek anchaha rishta baandh hi diya." Vineet says angrily.

"Gusse se jo hua wo nahi badlega Vineet ji. Please shant ho jaiye." Ruhana says.

"Jo hua hai wo tumhari behen ki wajah se hua hai. Aur ab tum mere bete ki zindagi barbad kar rahi ho." It's Gautami, who says the bitter words.

Ruhana is shocked. It's not her sister's fault fully. She was left with no other option than to marry her sister's groom. She did the same. But here, she is getting hate from her husband's mother.

" Galti Ruhana ki ya meri nahi hai.. Galti aapki hai, maa!" Vineet retorts.

Gautami glances angrily at her son. She didn't like this alliance, and she considered things wrong. She snaps at Ruhana.

"Tumhe sach bolna chahiye tha." she says.

"Toh fir sach toh aapke bete ko bhi bolna chahiye tha na. Why is a girl always expected to do certain things?" Ruhana retorts.

"Aur aap kaunsa yeh shadi rok dete. Tum bhi yahi kehti ki main ladki se shadi karlun.. Lo karli shadi. Atleast ab sach accept karlo Ma." Vineet says.

But Gautami is adamant at her decision. She is still blaming Ruhana for the circumstances. Ruhana's eyes are teary by now. Vineet sighs angrily at his mom and holds Ruhana's hand, and they leave the house. Ruhana breaks into tears once they leave the house. Vineet presses her shoulders.

"Ruhana! Please. Maine kaha tha na we have to stand together. Main hoon tumhare sath. Maa will understand." he says.

"Par kab, Vineet?? Ab toh humari shadi ho gayi hai na. Jo bhi situation thi, ab toh unhe accept karna chahiye. We didn't do it for ourselves. We did it for our families." She says, her eyes still teary.

"Jaanta hoon. Par tumhe strong rehna hoga. We have to be strong. Tabhi ye ladai hum jeet payenge." he says.

She looks at him and nods affirmatively. He glances at her

"Don't cry now. Nahi toh uncle aunty ko lagega maine tumhe rulaya. Ab dost toh rulate nahi na." he says.

She looks at him in awe and smiles lightly.

"Dost toh sath nibhate hain. Jaise tum mera sath de rahe ho." Ruhana says.

Vineet smiles and they chat a little until they reach her home. He parks the car and they move inside the car. She sighs to see her father sitting gloomily on the couch, and her mother is roaming around in The Hall.

" Mumma! " She calls her mother.

Mrinal sighs to see her daughter. She rushes to her.

"Tu thik hai na beta?" she asks.

"Haan mumma! Lekin aapko kya hua? I know jo hua wo nahi hona chahiye tha, lekin ab ho chuka hai. Usey badla nahi ja sakta." Ruhana says.

"Jee aunty. Ruhana thik toh keh rahi hai. Aapko khush hona chahiye." Vineet says.

"Beti ki zindagi barbaad toh hui na." Mrinal says.

Vineet and Ruhana sighed. They had their own dreams but they had to marry. Vineet holds Ruhana's hands.

"dekhiye, anchaha rishta toh jud gaya hai, lekin ab Ruhana meri dost hai. Humne jo kiya apni family ke liye kiya. Ab agar aap log support nahi karenge toh hamara sacrifice, actually Ruhana ka sacrifice fruitful nai hoga. Itna bada decision instantly leliya Ruhana ne. It's not easy. " Vineet says.

" Apne mumma papa ka sar jhukne thodi deti main. Rishta toh banaya bhi ja skta hai na, maa? " Ruhana asks.

Mrinal looks at her daughter. This girl has surely grown up. She knows it though. She behaves childish in front of her parents only. She cups both of their faces with her either hands.

" tum dono sach mein sabse alag ho. Vineet, agar tum Ruhana ke sath ho toh mujhe koi chinta nahi hai. Tum dono mil ke apne sapne pure karna." Mrinal says.

Vineet nods and then looks at her.

"Waise aap kuch khilayengi nahi? Bahut bhook lagi hai." he says cutely.

Mrinal smiles and so does Ruhana. Ruhana knows he's doing it only to lighten the situation.

"Tum dono baitho main nashta lagati hoon." Mrinal says.

Ruhana moves to her father and holds his hands. She apologizes to him, but the old Man pulls her in his embrace & tears trail down her eyes.

"I'm sorry beta! Ek faisle ne sab badal diya, tujhe bhi."Sanjeev says.

"Nahi papa! Aisa nahi hai kuch. It's fate. Aur phir aap chinta mat kijiye, Vineet hain na. He'll be with me.." Ruhana says.

Vineet nods in agreement when Sanjeev looks at him. The latter smiles & at the same time, Mrinal calls them for breakfast. They have their breakfast and then Mrinal helps Ruhana in packing some of her stuffs,aftrr which Ruhana leaves with Vineet. She also asks her father to attend office as things aren't bad anymore.

Singhaniya House

Ruhana & Vineet come back home and he asks her to arrange her things in the cupboard. Ruhana agrees and after making sure that she'll be fine, Vineet leaves for office.

A few days pass. Ruhana & Vineet have created a good bonding, but his mom isn't understanding. She continues to badmouth Ruhana & Kashish, as if it is only the girls' fault. Vineet wants to reply but Ruhana always stops him.

One fine day, the family of four is on the dinner table having dinner. Gautami says something that triggered Vineet's anger and he says something that leaves the other three shocked, specially Ruhana. But she can't say anything, as his decision seems firm.
