By the time I wake, Ed is already up and wearing a suit. He smiles and kisses my cheek.

"Good morning. I made you breakfast. Just the way you like it."

I smiled softly and sat up. "Thank you Eddie. Oh, and I almost forgot. I'm going to the clinic today."

A confused and concerned face made its way onto Ed's face. "Why? You have been acting a little sick lately...Are you alright?" I laugh slightly at his bombardment of questions. Just like old times.

"I'm fine. I just want to know how my body is adjusting to my powers." And if I am pregnant or not...

"Ok... you know you can tell me anything, right?"

"I know." I replay this in my head as my eyes scan the results. Once. Twice. A third and a forth. Positive. Pregnant. Most definitely.

What if it has my powers? I don't want my kid to have to kill people to continue breathing. What if it can't stop freezing stuff? What happens if Ed doesn't want it? I already know that it won't be normal. I take a shaky breath and close my eyes. I can worry about this later. But first...food. I really want ice cream and peanut butter right now. Something tells me that this is going to be one of my more normal cravings.

So that's exactly what I did. I sat down with a bowl of ice cream and frozen peanut butter while watching Stranger Things. That is, until I heard about Lee. No one messes with my friends. Even if we aren't really friends anymore. And as long as the baby is safe...I should be in the clear.

I jumped into my car and pulled up behind Lee's house, lock pick in hand, and I snuck in. I arrived just as Lee's fiancé realized that the gun had no bullets. Two steady streams of ice consumed Tetch's henchman. I smirked as I felt their heat enter my body.

"Now, give me one good reason why you shouldn't be next."

"I have a reason my dear. Why, you love the baby you hold near." I faltered momentarily.

"Wait...what baby?" Jim asked and both Lee and the reporter rolled their eyes.

"I won't hesitate b*tch."

"Y-yes you will."

"Are you sure about that?" And with that a bang ran through the air. I extended one arm, the other wrapping around my stomach and I closed my eyes. I waited for a blow that never came. I open my eyes to see a trail of ice and a bullet frozen in mid air. "Ok, let's try that again. Are you sure about that?"

Smack! The ice shattered as it was smashed into my face, sending me to the floor. I tried to stand. Big mistake. The contents in my stomach ended up all over the floor. Great. Shouting, screaming. A gunshot. Maybe two.

Before the ambulance arrived, I was long gone. I need a hug...or to be taken out by a sniper.
