I sit in my apartment listening to music as I get ready for 'a job.' And by a 'job' I mean I was going to steal.

I finish appling my gold eyeliner and gently place my mask on my face. My straightened hair is pulled back into a high ponytail. Now for the final touch: my gloves. The gloves are made of black leather that seemed to have cat like claws.

I examine my reflection in the mirror with a smirk. "Wow...I'm the cat's meow."

My green eyes glint evilly as they eye the target through the vent. The target was a jade necklace with matching earrings and bracelets. 

I gracefully climb out of the vents, my nails brushing the glass case. I slowly remove the glass and replace the jewelry with something of around the same weight.

CAT WOMAN MAKES ANOTHER 'PURR-FECT' ESCAPE reads the headline. I pick up my ringing phone to answer Ed.

"It's fascinating how no one's caught you yet. I mean, you couldn't have even been a block away when the police got their. I'm disappointed in them." Ed rants and I roll my eyes.

"Are you trying to get me caught? And no offense, but your fellow officers just don't try hard enough. So what's your point?" I comment.

"I was hoping you could stop by my house in an hour. I'll be cooking of course." 

"I'll be there." I decide.

I arrived on time for once. Ed swung his door open with a smile. "You're early." 

"Hey, I'm not always late." I argue. I slip inside and he closes the door. "Mac and cheese? Aww... you know me so well!"

"Yes, that is the reason for this meeting. I can start a war or end one, I can give you the strength of heroes or leave you powerless, I might be snared with a glance, but no force can compel me to stay; What am I?" Ed asks.

"Love! But what does love...oh. I'm an idiot." I realize, a heavy blush moving its way onto my face.

"No, quite the opposite actually. You are the smartest, kindest person I have had the pleasure of meeting.  What I am trying to say is will you be my girlfriend?" Ed spits out.

"Eddie you idiot. Yes I'll be your girlfriend! Now let's eat this food before it gets cold." I answer, grabbing his hand.
