This is for Ya'll that don't want God seeing what a mess you're in because you think you have to change before coming to him.

God is the sun and our heart is the land. The shadow is our sin.

When we block God out, telling him to go away, to not look at us, we have a wall that blocks the sun from shining on our land. But when the sun doesn't shine on our land, we are unable to chase the shadows away. We may try in vain, carrying little bits of light within us, but we can only illuminate so much. However, if we take down the wall and let God in, he will flood our life with light.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just, and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.                                                                                                                                                                            -1 John 1:9
