Skylar: "Uuhhhh. . . What is it..?"
She opens her eyes and notices Maou is missing.
Skylar: "Great... Just great. .. Well, I guess now we're looking for Maou as well as Lucifer..."

Ashiya nods and gulps. He's afraid that he will be their next target.
Ashiya opens the door and looks at the hallway. No one.
He walked over to the next door, and knocked on the door.
Ashiya: "Crestia Bell!"

Suzuno doesn't answer, as if she had gone missing too.
Skylar dozing off slowly in Maou's apartment.

Ashiya takes out a cheap phone and pressed the numbers to Emi's cellphone.
Ashiya: "Pick up..."

Emi's phone starts ringing but no one picks up.
It goes on to one of them annoying voicemail things.
Emi's voice (recorded): "I'm sorry, I'm busy right now. I can't answer your call. I might be available later! Try again then,but leave a message now if you like!"
Then the recording cuts off and beeps as if to say: 'Leave a message!'

Fed up, Ashiya hangs up.
Ashiya: "Well...."
He looks over to Skylar. Then to Maou's packed bags. Digging through, he found a tracker.
Ashiya: "This can lead us to a clue.."
He plugs the tracker onto the computer, where it locates a blinking red spot on the other side of the city.
Ashiya: "Miss Skylar, we should head out now."

Skylar jumps awake from her little nap.
Skylar: "Huh? Oh. Yea, lets go!"
She stands up and puts her shoes on ready to leave.

Ashiya and Skylar traveled throughout the city, hoping to get some clue on what they could find...but unfortunately no one has seen Maou or Lucifer. Emi wasn't picking up and Suzuno was no where to be found either. Something was wrong.
Ashiya looked around the corner of the street where he and Skylar are at. Ahead, he could see Sentucky. He saw Sariel.
Ashiya: "Miss Skylar, do you think Sariel will have a clue? Perhaps it could be convenient if he gets the day off; to be able to give coordinates to areas we might not know of the Saint Churches would definitely be helpful..."

Skylar: "Yea, that would be helpful. We should ask him about it."

The two headed inside the Sentucky restaurant. But before they could talk to him, Sariel spotted them. Gulping, he began to walk away.
Ashiya: "W-what? What is he planning to do??"

Skylar: "Maybe he's one of the people making them go missing..."

Ashiya: "Sariel!"
The two entered the store and rushed to the counter, where they saw Sariel smirking at the distance.
Ashiya: "Miss Skylar...I am not sensing the right presence. I know precisely Sariel has been siding with us, why would his aura change?"

Skylar: "He might be working with his fellow angels.. Cuz he seems eviller than usual. . I never did trust him completely."

Ashiya and Skylar leaves Sentucky, and proceeds to walk towards a corner when a shot was heard.
Ashiya: "Ugh!"
Ashiya drops down, hand on his side, and reveals a huge bleeding spot.

Skylar: "Ashiya!"
She drops down beside him and puts her hands near his wound, trying to heal him as much as she can before they get shot at again.

Ashiya: "Ugh.....ah!! That..w-was painful..."
Ashiya tries to get up but collapses to the floor again.
Ashiya: "Urgh! Miss S-Skylar...you...have to find them..."

Skylar: "Okay! Umm.. be careful Ashiya!"
She runs off to find their attacker, and ends up at that one train station Emi and Maou went to when they got attacked by anyone and stopped, looking around for anyone suspicious.

Suddenly, a voice can be heard near a corner of the train station.
Voice: "Pssst over here...help..."

Skylar looks around for anyone.
"Hello?She starts to walk around and look, kinda forgetting to be careful..
"Where are you? What do you need help with?"

The voice became louder as she looks around. The voice seemed to be coming at the edge of the train station.
Voice: "S-Skylar...help....help..."

Skylar goes to the edge of the train station.
"Hello? Who is it?"

The voice got louder the closer she walks.
Voice: "H-help.."
But suddenly, right behind she could see who it was, another voice chimed in, a voice she recognizes, behind her and yells,
Maou's voice: "NO DON'T IT'S A TRAP!"

Skylar stops and turns her head.
"Huh? Maou, are you sure? I'll feel bad if I don't at least-"
She pauses, having a little mini flashback.
(FLASHBACK)
Maou (Satan) : "Skylar, you shouldn't go. He's a human. It's probably a trap."
Skylar: "Are you sure? I'll feel bad if I don't at least try to help. . I'll go. I'll be back later."
She teleports to the burnt ruins of a human village, approaching a child, weeping at the ruins of his home.
Skylar: "Hey, little boy, are you okay? Need any help?"
Kid: "Help? Me, need help from a demon? No, I can't accept pity from a lowlife monster like you. Die."
He spins around and stabs her in the side. She stands there in pain and shock for a few moments, but then snarls at him and teleports back to the devil'; castle.
Skylar: "Ya know, my lord, I think you were right to say it was a trap.." *collapses*
(END OF FLASHBACK)
Skylar: "Actually.. I think you might be right..."

A purple beam attacks Skylar. Smoke began to fill the station. An injured Maou trapped inside an angel's barrier yelled Skylar's name.
From the smoke, emerges Lucifer. He smirked. Next to him stood Raguel.

Skylar: "Hey Raguel, what have you been doing to him? I'm curious, before we start murdering each other or something, how switching personalities works."

Lucifer: "Ahahaha, you're such a precious fellow! Look at you!"
Raguel: "While I have the ability to disguise myself, I can also control minds."
Lucifer: "OHHHH Skylarrrr! You better be a nice little sister!"
Maou: "Argh! Snap out of it!"

Skylar glares at Lucifer, with a look in her eyes that basically said 'just shut the hell up, will ya?'
She then looked away from her brother and back to Raguel.
"Ahh, now I get how it works for you. But why does Ignora even want Lucifer? Is it a 'kidnap him and turn him into a weapon' type thing? Because I really don't think she wants him so we can be a family again."
She then looked down at the floor, clearly distracted by her thoughts, and mostly talking to herself and worrying.
"And has anyone seen Crestia, or Emilia? They disappeared. Wait- oh God, is Ashiya okay? I wonder if Chiho realised were all missing yet.. And how the hell do I even rescue Maou?..What if I end up meeting my mother to rescue my brother.. . how would that turn out.."

Raguel gives Skylar a friendly smirk.
Raguel: "It's really simple; basically anyone related to the church or was born-such as yourself and Lucifer here- with holy blood could be under my demand. You're looking for Emilia and Crestia Bell? Tough luck, kiddo! I've sent them back to Ente Isla to take care of some business. Ooooh boy, those two might be in trouble for covering you up all this time!"
Raguel looks at Lucifer, and he smirks too.
Raguel: "Mr. Maou, if I ask ever so politely, I was wondering where your little assistant Alciel may be..."
Maou: "Gee, and what makes you think I'll spill the beans?"
Raguel: "I guess that explains why Sariel was acting suspicious too...I guess he didn't want to get caught either. Ooh I know!"
Raguel gives a hard punch on Lucifer, who grunted in pain.
Raguel: "If I hurt your brother here, maybe you'll tell me, Skylar dear?"

She flinches after seeing Lucifer in pain.
"No, I won't tell you even if you hurt him.. You couldn't hurt him much anyway, back at my house you said Ignora wanted him back, right? What would she do to you if she sent all those angels out to find her son, and you come back with him all wounded and she finds out you did it to him? To be honest. . I would rat out on Sariel because I hate him to the end of the universe and back.. But it would be exactly Sariel for him to give up and tell you where Ashiya is.. And if any holy child angel or whatever is under your demand, why doesn't Ignora want me too? Not that I'm complaining, I don't really care for my family- other than Lucifer, that is- but I'm just curious.."
She talks a lot, unusual for Skylar, but really she's pretty much stalling until she figures out how to free Maou before getting into any murder fights or whatever.

As Skylar is talking, little did Raguel know that Maou, at the outer side of the train station, was gazing back and fourth from the train tracks and the angel.
Maou: "A speeding train would be passing by in about three minutes....if I could..."
Meanwhile, Raguel listens to what Skylar has to say.
"I take it you know your strategies well young lady! You're absolutely right; Ignora would never want to see her poor son all injured and wrapped up finished...however..."
He flies so fast towards Skylar face, super fast that she might not have expected it.
Raguel: "Two reasons kiddo: for one, Ignora despises her little daughter that tries to shadow behind Lucifer, and second, you're just little Skylar. A person no one hardly knew because Maou kept you in..."
Maou to himself: "One more min...come on..."

Skylar is somewhat upset when Raguel says that her mother hates her, even if she did seem to be acting out that she hated Ignora too.
"W-Well I don't n-need her to l-love me when I have f-friends that do! And anyway, I always shadowed behind Lucifer because I respected him more than my parents, really.. and I did find my parents pretty scary to be honest, half the time they couldn't care less if something happened to me, but Lucifer did, so I wanted to be around someone who actually cared about me.."

In the distance, a train's horn can be heard. The empty train station echoed it's loud sound.
Maou: "Now!"
Maou, along with the barrier around him, jumped to the tracks. He motions for Skylar to join him.
Maou: "Come on! Jump!"

She spins around to see Maou on the tracks.
Skylar: "Huh? Wait, why! Are you going insane or something!?"
She sighs, considering but then jumping down to the tracks as well.

The train can be seen approaching at the distance. With only a few seconds left, Maou yelled one more time.
Maou: "Skylar come on!"
Raguel: "Wha?? What the?"

Skylar steps to the tracks and when she's stood beside Maou, she ends up hugging his arm half consciously out of fear.

Raguel: "No!"
The train rushed into the station.
Maou: "Now!"
Maou and Skylar braced for impact. The train hit the barrier that Maou and Skylar is in and skittered them along the tracks. The barrier pops after a few seconds and Maou immediately teleports them to a different location.
Maou collapse s to the floor, exhausted.
Maou: "Woah...that's a close call..."

After they were teleported, Skylar lets go of Maou, shaking in fear just a little.
"Yea..A close call.. smart, though. I'm gonna say, though.. I don't think I'll ever set foot near a train again.."

Maou: "Yeah..."
Voice: "My lord?!"
A figure approached them. It was Alciel in his demon form.
Maou: "Wha- Alciel? Aw come on dude! You could've really helped us earlier!"
Alciel: "Ah I apologize deeply, my lord. I was severely injured-"
Maou: "Yes but I did send u some power to heal you while Skylar distracted Raguel! What took you so long!"
Alciel: "I had to get my mant-"
Maou: "Alright alright. I know what you're going to say. Miss Skylar, can the both of us hang out at perhaps, one of your friends' place for the day? Raguel will surely try to find us..."

Skylar: "Friends? You guys do know you are literally the only friends I have, other than Emi, Suzuno, Urushihara and Chiho? I mean, we could go to Chiho but then she will be in danger..."
Alciel: "That is true...."
Alciel turns back to Ashiya, saving the demonic energy for later.
Ashiya: "Where would you suggest to go?"
Maou: "Ugh I don't know, we can't stay at our place or Skylar's place since Raguel has been there before...hmm...Skylar, do you maybe...have an attic or a basement or a room that Raguel does not know of?"

Skylar: "Umm.. yeah, actually. . I have a basement. I've never really been down there, but it definitely exists. I know the way down, too. It would work if we hid down there."

Maou: "Ugh..." *Maou holds onto his shoulder* "Yeah, then let's stay there for the time being.."

Skylar: "Yep!"
Skylar leads the way to her house and goes inside, opening this one random door into like a closet where there's a trap door which she opens and the basement is down there.
When she climbs down it turns out that the basement is quite a big room with a ton of storage boxes and camping stuff shoved into a corner.
"Oh.. well, a part of me was thinking it would be some kind of secret crawl space fully furnished with a queen sized bed and all that kind of posh stuff.. Anyway.."
She pokes her head up through the open trap door to talk to Maou and Ashiya who are still upstairs.
"Maou, Ashiya, down here."

Maou: "Woah, this place is huge! If only my castle can be as large as this!"
Ashiya: "My Lord's correct; while this room is a storage area, the amount of space one could occupy is gigantic. What a suitable place to stay upon!"
Maou: "If any case, we will definitely love to be in here!"
Their stomachs growl.
Maou: "Uh...while we settle, got any food?"

Skylar: "Yea, I can get some food from the kitchen before Raguel appears. Can you look in the camping supplies for sleeping bags?"
Skylar climbs back up and raids her kitchen for snacks and drinks, then goes into her bedroom to get a few manga volumes, books, blankets, pillows and games just in case. Then she retreats to the basement and dumps the pile pile of stuff in the middle of the room.
"Do ya think we need anything else, or can I lock up the front door or whatever, and hide the trapdoor?"

While Skylar was grabbing things around the house, Maou and Ashiya settled in and made the basement their own room.
Ashiya: "My lord..I suggest we should find information on Lucifer's history.."
Maou: "Perhaps. As the Demon King, I should be able to contact Ignora without a struggle..."
When Skylar comes back and tosses the books and mangas on the floor, Maou looked up in excitement.
Maou: "Woah, these are so cool! I could never get myself some reading entertainment since books are awfully costly!"
Ashiya: "That would be all, Miss Skylar. I thank you for your generosity!"
Suddenly, something crashed right next to Skylar's house.
