[31] I Love You
This is kinda really sucky so... Sorry.
Virgil lay on his side, gazing at the man he had come to love, the man who made him smile whenever he let go of his serious, stoic demeanour, the man who made his heart swell whenever he looked at him. The man who had caught him when he was falling and brought him back up. The man who looked at him so fondly, it was as though nothing else mattered and the world around them could shatter. The man whose heart held more love than he thought possible.
He smiled softly as the arm around his waist tightened subconsciously. He moved closer to his boyfriend, pressing a kiss to his nose, knowing he could unintentionally make him moody if he was woken up too abruptly. He watched with a certain fondness that he knew ended up making his lover's heart melt. Quite frankly, the way they looked at one another was sickeningly sweet and neither could bring themself to care.
"Morning," a groggy voice brought him from his small trance and he noticed his boyfriend's eyes were open and on him. He couldn't help the small smile that tugged at the corner of his lips or the sudden urge he had to kiss his boyfriend and just not let go, but he knew Logan didn't always appreciate that.
"Good morning, did you sleep well?" Virgil ran a hand down Logan's cheek, cupping his jaw softly and scanning his face.
"I did, and you?"
"I slept okay, I suppose."
Virgil watched as he sat up and got his glasses, missing the small gasp from him stretching and his sides showing slightly. Sure, they'd been together for years, but that wasn't going to stop Virgil from being a disaster. Or from falling in love with everything about Logan all over again.
He looked down with a light blush on his cheeks, ignoring as the bed became emptier due to Logan going to the bathroom and probably brushing his teeth. Virgil slowly sat up and decided to get dressed.
He stood in front of the mirror, his glasses pushed onto his head, his shirt in his hands, looking at himself. He wasn't entirely happy with who he was, but somehow, Logan made him happier.
He jumped as a pair of arms circled his waist, and he smiled softly at his boyfriends reflection.
"You're so gorgeous," Logan murmured, pressing a kiss to his shoulder and having Virgil turn around to face him. "So, so, beautiful." He murmured.
"Shut up," Virgil muttered, burying his face in Logan's shoulder, feeling his glasses slip off his head.
He moved from Logans arms and pulled his shirt on, finally moving his glasses to his face so he could see Logan properly. He pecked his lips once before going to the bathroom, leaving Logan to get dressed.
And sure, their morning routine didn't consist of much, but it was enough when they were reminded of how much they loved one another.
