The whole story is gonna be in third person so no need to remind you.

Amethyst looked up from the warp pad and gasped. She summoned her whip and got ahold of Purple Tourmaline. "Another gem!"

Garnet finally noticed and summoned her gauntlets, "Gems, attack!"

Pearl pulled out her spear and they all charged for Tourmaline. Tourmaline ran towards the bathroom door, but tripped over the coffee table. She sprinted back up and started heading for the stairs. She made it up and Steven blocked the stairway.

"Stop it, guys! She's a friend!"

Pearl growled at Steven, and Garnet put a hand on her shoulder. She didn't lose her weapon, but she stepped back a bit. Amethyst lost her weapon and stayed next to Garnet.

Garnet spoke, "Who are you, and what is your purpose?"

Tourmaline stood up straight, "U-uh, uhm, Purple Tourmaline... And I, uh, mean no harm.."

Garnet nodded slightly and looked down at Steven, who was still blocking the stairway.

"Steven, what do you know about this gem?"

Steven crossed his arms, "She's nice and fun! She hasn't been hurting me, she's just lost and scared."

Garnet put her hands on her hips and hummed. She motioned for Pearl to come forward, and gave her a pat on the head. "Lose the weapon, she's safe."

Pearl's eyes widened, "But, Garnet! We can't just listen to her! What if she's lying?!"

"Exactly. That's why we're listening to Steven. Now, lose the weapon."

Pearl groaned and let her weapon disappear from her hands.

Tourmaline came down the steps and waved in greeting, "Hi."

Amethyst waved back. Steven smiled and hugged Purple Tourmaline from behind, "We're gonna be friends! Beeest friends!"

"Heh. Yeah, I guess we are." Purple Tourmaline smiled as well.
