I have been promising you guys new chapters for a long time... And here you finally have one. I am so sorry, I've been saying that I'd update more frequently, but writing stories is hard...

The blue light surrounding Purple Tourmaline fades, and she falls facefirst onto the Warp Pad.

"Whoops..."

She stands up slowly, and looks around. The place she warped to had many trees and vines, leading from one tree to another. There were broken geodes and crystals scattered around the area, giving out a shimmering light. There was, what appeared to be, a beach not too far ahead, with sparkling waters and pure white sand.

"I... Guess the place a warped to isn't so bad..." She whispers, as she slowly steps off of the Warp Pad.

She walks towards the beach, still admiring her surroundings. Her bare feet touch the hot sand, sending a warm sensation through her body. She sat close to the water as the wind blew.

"I wonder what Peri would think of this place... It's really pretty..."

She suddenly heard growling coming from behind. She turned around quickly, her eyes darting around in every direction.

The growling grew louder, and soon she was tackled by a large creature. Purple Tourmaline struggled, yet managed to throw the creature off. She heard more growling, and looked up to see three other creatures fiercely inching closer.

"Crud..."

The creatures jumped toward her, making her scream and leap out of the way. She was tackled again, getting slammed onto the bottom of the shallow ocean water. As she struggled, she noticed a gem on the creature. In fact, there were gems on all of them.

Well I'm stupid... she thought as she fought the gem. With the only weapon she had being her own tiny gauntlet, she fought them off as best she could.

After a few minutes of fighting, she heard a loud CRACK!

She smiled, thinking it was one of the corrupted gem's. But it wasn't. She looked down to the gem on her left hand, and gasped.

It cracked...

She started twitching and spazzing, much like a glitch in a video game.

"N-n-no..." She stuttered, "N-not now!"

Suddenly she was thrown into a tree, damaging her gem even further. She glitched even more, her body parts switching with other ones.

"I-it's ov-over..." Her body had several bruises and scars, leaving her leaning against the tree limply.

Just then, the Warp Pad activated.
