Papyrus POV

  The human, Kris, and I were in the judgement hall again. They did a genocide route, again. It was getting tiring of all the Genocide's they were doing. They stopped being able to beat me a while ago, and it's getting on their nerves.

Behind me was the castle, where Asgore, Toriel, Asriel, Frisk and Chara were. The Royal Family. The only other people left. I killed Kris once again and they reloaded once again. I'm not sure why they keep doing this, they can't win.

I won't let them win, not now, not ever. Not after they killed Momma and Sans. Kris continued to reload again and again. I'm not sure how long had passed but eventually they seemed to give up on this run. After I killed her one last I woke up in my bed.

Guess they finally gave up. Witch means Sans and Momma were alive and not dead. I shook my head as I got up, trying to get rid of the memory of Sans's and Momma's dust and headed to Sans room to check on him. Just like I did every day since his birth.

Walking up to his door I opened it, waking him up in the process. When I did he ended up jumping up and looking around. Probably another nightmare. Ever since the resets started happening all he's been having are nightmares. Once he spotted me he sighed in relief.

"Bro, you nearly gave me a soul attack, you know I'm a light sleeper!" Sans said while looking at me. "Sorry Sansy, was it another Nightmare?" I asked concern hidden in my eyes and voice. "Yeah, I wish I would remember my Nightmares" No, you don't. Trust me, you really don't "so that I could stop them but I never do" Sans said while looking down.

I quietly sighed, I hope he never remember's the reset's. I hated seeing Sans upset but I would hate to see how he would react to the resets. "Want me to give you a piggy back ride downstairs? I can already smell Momma's cooking" "One time! One time my legs fall off my body after a nightmare and suddenly I'm carried downstairs every morning!"

3rd POV

Sans Huff's in an obviously joking tone and leaps on their Older Brother's back, knowing that Papyrus would always catch them. Papyrus would never allow them to be hurt, Sans know this like he knew Monsters were sealed into the underground about 4-5 months before he was born. It was a simple fact of life.

While Sans never rememberd the reset's themselves he seemed to remember small details. Every time a reset happen it was like it was a new day for Sans. Great for Sans but it worried Papyrus and made him that much more protective, even if he doesn't show his protectiveness too often. 

Papyrus's voice is full of amusement as he piggy backs Sans down stairs, "Your my baby brother, I don't want to see you hurt. Besides I thought you loved me giving you piggy back rides?" Once at the bottom of the stairs Papyrus made his way to the kitchen, already smelling breakfast.

"I have no idea what you're talking about, you have nothing backing that claim up!" Sans was rather proud of the pun he did, even if Papyrus didn't realize he made the pun. Papyrus, despite being smart, having graduated monster school as the youngest monster in history, he could be oblivious. That doesn't mean that his family didn't love him anyways, they just needed to watch out for him.

"Sooo...." Papyrus started to speak, amusement clearly heard in his voice, "You throwing a tantrum was I started dating my ex was because you simply didn't like her?" Not that Papyrus could even remember his ex's name. His ex who he dated for 9 months despite his family not liking her. Papyrus never knew why but he ended up breaking things off when she tried to demand that he stop spending time with his family.

Unknown to Papyrus, Sans and his Mother, Gigi, saw through her sweet act she put up around Papyrus. Sans was about to make that known though, "Yeah, because she was manipulative and evil! I saw right through her act, and no it's not because she was a stupid ghost!" Sans huffed a bit. Papyrus's ex was a bitch to anyone not Papyrus and even then she was still somewhat mean to him.

Papyrus however never realized this. Almost like he couldn't tell when someone was using him or something. That just ment that Sans and Gigi would have to make sure it doesn't happen! Gigi smiled as she heard her boy's, "Kids settle down and go watch some TV while I finish breakfast, alright?"

"But it's all re-runs. Nothing ever happens in the underground!" Sans protested. He could recite the episodes by heart he's watched them so much! "Sans Star Serif are you arguing with your Mother?" Sans suddenly felt danger, uh oh.

Papyrus laughed as Sans quickly, without saying anything, jumped from his back and onto the couch. Laying upside down to at least watch the re-runs from a different angle. You don't argue with Momma, you will lose of you try.

Papyrus POV

I was watching the episode with Sans when we heard noise from the basement, causing both of us to look up. Sans immediately looked at me, "Bro, did you sneak that dog back inside again?" Hey! I'm not that bad! I told them so, "No, I wouldn't put them in the basement if I did! Besides, it sounds like it's comming from the room Dad's old machine is in."

Sans suddenly had a weird look an his face, worry maybe? "I thought Dad's old machine was unplugged and broken though?" Ah, he's worried I was messing with it. "It is" I reassure him, " It's more then likely some rats since we haven't cleaned that room since we moved in is all." More like since we were sealed underground....

I don't want Sans to worry about it so I changed the subject hoping it would work. "So are you ready for your hang out with Frisk, Chara and Asriel later bro?" Sans took the bait and the subject was successfully changed, "I guess so... Why can we hang around the Dreemur's anyways? Nobody else is allowed so why can we?"

I guess Momma hasn't told him yet. He's old enough to know about it now, and mature enough too. I quietly sigh and begin to explain to Sans what he should have known growing up. "It's because Dad was the King of Skeletons and Asgore's best friend before he died. You and I have Royal Magic while Momma is acting as Queen untill your old enough to inherit the title"

Sans suddenly had a confused look on his face, "Untill I'm old enough? Your older then me though, shouldn't you be the next King?" Ha! Me? King? Never in a million years would I want to be the heir. Besides Sans being heir gave him more protection so a win/win for me. "Nope, you have a Cypher so your the Heir. Besides I don't wanna be king anyways, to much work."

I was happy with the arrangement of Sans being the heir, Sans apparently was not. "So just because I have a Cypher I'm the heir? It's stupid and not fair at all!" Uh oh- "SANS STAR SERIF!" I noticed Sans flinched, hypervating a bit. Worry immediately flooded me, since the first Reset loud sounds easily scared him.

I spotted Momma walking over, an angry look on her face. Sans answered her, but he had a stutter, Momma scared him. "W-what.....?" Momma started talking, either not caring or not noticing she was scaring Sans. "Don't you dare disrespect the traditions of our people! I taught you better then that." Sans managed so squeak out a "Yes ma'am".

Momma seemed to calm down at the answer Sans gave and her tone went from scary to sweet, "Good boy, now breakfast is ready so come get your food". We all headed to the table, me following behind Sans. I started eating once I noticed Sans was eating, a habit I picked up when Sans started eating solid foods.

As Lunch went on I acted normal, despite my emotions wanting me to coddle Sans and yell at Momma. I acted like Sans and Momma never died, that Kris never killed them. That Kris wouldn't be back within a week, ready to kill everyone again only for me to stop them.

3rd POV

The family was having a peaceful breakfast when they heard a noise echo through the quiet house. A noise the household, or at least Gigi and Papyrus, thought to be impossible. Gaster's old machine turning on, the loud hum of it turning on followed by the sounds of explosions.

Gigi and Papyrus were confused on how the hell the machine could turn on, it hasn't been touched since Papyrus himself was 5 years old! Papyrus noticed Sans freeze from shock, their mother, Gigi, grabbing them to teleport.

Before Gigi could teleport the small family out a black portal infront of them. Gigi noticing it changed her planned teleport to throwing up a shield as the Family was dragged against their will through the portal. Papyrus's last thought being everything went back was 'Sans was right to be worried about the noise....'

After the family was pulled in the portal closed, leaving behind no trace of the family, nor any signs of a struggle. Witch would confuse the Underground's residents when they found out in a few hours. Leaving them to wonder what happened to the skeletons that lived in the home.
