3rd person Pov:

It was a familiar scenario a number of AUs brought together cause of the dumb machine. So they did what they thought was best, teaming up to fix the machine to get everyone home. It was taking time but it was getting close. Or so they thought, until a random portal opened and dropped out a child Sans, a Teen or adult Paps and... their mom?!?! Okay this was a new one, usually their mother would have died in the war. But here she was with her kids.

Sans/Starlight's Pov: 

Waking up I can hear voices

 Red: "We're All Sans and Papyrus, you're gonna need a nickname for em. Mine's Red, this is my bro Edge."

Edge stared and whispered lightly to Red: "Is that what our mother looked like too?"

Red nodded slightly confirming the similarities between the two.

Gigi: "Well Papyrus is an adult and can choose his own name. Plus Sans is old enough to have a say as well."

Papyrus: "What happened to your Mother? Why isn't she here as well?"

I groaned lightly as they looked around then groaned again when I saw what was going on. Though I wasn't paying attention to what they were saying for the most part.

Sans: 'Great, I was honestly hoping this wouldn't happen. I escaped the cliché being stuck in resets only to be dragged into a trap AU.'

I barely noticed the alternates freeze at the new Paps question, some of the more emotional ones even started crying.

Classic: "She...... died in the war..."

Okay that one snapped me back to reality, they lost their mom in the war!? That's so sad... though before I could process Mom was there to see why I kept groaning.

Gigi: "Sans, are you okay sweetie? Are you in pain anywhere?"

I saw the skeleton bro's watch in surprise, normally one of the brothers is over protective but that doesn't seem to be the case here... Their faces said it all, they were thinking. "What is going on?"

Wine: "Lucky brat..."

he said it under his breath but they could just hear it and he sounded... hurt... I feel bad for them. I also saw Papyrus and Mom's eye-lights both snapped towards Wine, their magic eyes flashing briefly. Papyrus moved me so his body was in line of fire while mom let out a growl.

Gigi: "What did you call my son?"

Wine: "Heh, heh, heh, heh, to be technically, I'm also your son. And it looks like this Paps is the protective brother of the two."

Gold: "Me lord remember we aren't in our AU anymore, so you needn't be rude."

Wine: "Says the one still calling me "Me lord" I told you to stop that."

Classic: "Right before this gets to out of hand, how do you three feel about humans?"

Gigi: "I don't care for them and Sans has never met one. I'm not sure about Papyrus though, why?"

Classic: "Some of us were brought with their humans when they were brought here..."

Wine: "You touch a hair on Kitten's head the wrong way and I will...!"

Cream Puff: "Wine calm down, no one is going to harm your human."

Papyrus: "As long as they don't attack those I care for, you won't have a problem from me."

Gigi: "Was that a threat?"

Mom's tone was cold, and commanding it held no room for argument

Classic: "How's about we calm down for a moment and introduce ourselves."

Classic was obvious nervous, mom was scary. But the fact Wine has fought destroyer of worlds to stand stills was probably what was scaring him the most right now. I guessing he really didn't want his house or the town destroyed.

Classic: "I'm Classic and this is my bro Creampuff or CP."

Red: "You got me and my bros names already."

Wine: "I am the Magnificent and Horrifying Wine, and this is my brother, Gold aka Mutt."

Swap: "I'm Swap or Blueberry, and this is my brother Carrot aka Stretch!"

Mom was definitely about to start a major fight when Papyrus forcibly cut her off.

Papyrus: "Nice to meet you guys, you can call me V, and you can call my brother Stars until he comes up with his own name."

Lust: "I'm Lust, and this is Hearts."

Horror: "Horror, this is Sugar. Don't mind if he yells, he can't control the volume of his voice."

Sugar: "I'M just Glad we got my TEETH FIXED!"

I flinched I didn't mean to but I did, I wasn't expecting the loud yelling. I'm sorry Sugar... I moved closer to V, who was trying his best to comfort me after he felt me flinch. Though I don't think mom noticed.

Outer: "Heh, hopefully he chooses soon then, cause I'm Outer and this is my Bro Star."

Squash: "Why'd he flinch? Oh I'm Squash by the way and this is Honeyberry."

Papyrus: "Sudden loud noises scare him, it's not your fault though so don't blame yourself. Please try to refrain from yelling while he's in the room."

Horror: "Sugar can't control it so it's going to be impossible for him to refrain from yelling."

V: "That request was more aimed at the others, you already informed us that Sugar can't control his voice."

Horror: "I did?"

V: "You did, when you introduced him to us."

V's voice is kind, and non-judgmental, I wonder if this Horror has short term memory loss or something.

Starlight: "Can... I be Starlight?"

I saw Classic's eyes widened, as did everyone else.

Red: "Holy jumping Dingbats! A Royal Cypher?!"

Red's voice was loud but not a yell. But V still glared at him, his magic rising along with mom's

Gigi: "Yes my son has a Royal Cypher, and I would appreciate if you didn't make a big deal of it. He's only learned of his status as a Royal today."

V: "Of course you can, it's your name after all"

My brother is so kind and caring, he's really the best brother ever.

Classic: "No, no the shock is the kind of cypher it is.... Usually its... 🕈︎✋︎☠︎☝︎👎︎✋︎☠︎☝︎💧︎..."

Starlight: "Are different Cyphers more important than others?"

V: "Maybe it's because Sans was raised by Mom rather then Dad that the Cypher is different."

Red scoffed loudly, obviously upset over something.

Red: "Wouldn't call what Gaster did raising to be begin with. That a... butt broke one of my magic Eyes for failing a test."

Classic: "Heh, mine was worse...."

Classic's voice was small, meek, and quiet, it obviously made Red feel guilty cause he hugged him tightly.

Gigi: "..... Are you saying Gaster didn't raise you, but harmed you!?"

I felt V's magic pulsed wildly, he was really mad.

V: "DaD dId WhAt?!?!"

Everyone looked at V in shock, including me, it was obvious no one knew what to say.

Horror: "A ... glitched font? Are you... a glitch?"

Starlight: "Pa.. V...?"

I was confused, how was my brother glitched? How did my brother glitch? WAS IT MY FAULT?! DID I CAUSE THE GLITCH!?! I stared at V scared I caused this and it probably showed on my face.

Gigi: "Pa..."

V: "V..."

Gigi: "V... How long have you had the warrior font?"

Warrior's font, what's that?

Horror: "Warrior font? That's a Glitch Font, then again the only other person with a glitched font is the literal god of destruction, so I guess it can be seen as a Warrior's Font."

Swap: "So... V can't grow infinitely like Error can? ... V how strong are you?"

V: "Um.... I don't know, I haven't checked myself in... Quite a while..."

Starlight: "Ooh can you check? I wanna know too!"

V: "Sure bro, lemme look."

I watched as V checked his stats, and notice his face turn to one of shock. 

Starlight: "So... What is it?!"

V: "It's uh.... it's Something."

He shrugged, showing his stats to everyone.

Check: "LV: 999,999. EXP: 10,000,001. Atk: 66667. Def: 9999."

Starlight: "That's so cool you're so strong! How'd you get the LV and Exp though? There haven't been any humans."

Classic: "Wait...? You really don't have resets?"

Starlight: "Nope!" 'Shit! I probably shouldn't even know what that is! Did I screw up?!'

I noticed Mom and V give each other a look, before silently nodding... 

V: "We do have reset's, but Starlight... Can't exactly remember them. To him each reset is a brand new day...."

Starlight: "...Wait... so the nightmares I can't remember...?"

V nodded confirming my suspicions.

V: "Are the resets that you can't quite remember, but can't quite forget. You subconsciously remember but your mind won't let you remember while awake so instead you get Nightmares about it." 

I nearly burst into tears, but I stopped myself. Though I could see and feel the tears in the corners of my eye sockets. 

Starlight: "So all this time... you were suffering... and I wasn't about to help, or remember any of it?"

Gigi: "Sans, it's not your fault, and you did more then enough to help us. Your brother especially."

Did I, how could I be sure if I can't remember anything!?

V: "Don't blame yourself, it's not like you knew it was happening and honestly I would have rather it stayed that way. We're the adults here, your 12."

Starlight: "But I'm strong, I can fight! Did you ever try to warn me before? Did you let me fight for real?!"

I couldn't help it, I was getting really upset, I noticed my magic eyes flaring up as I looked at both of them.

V: "Starlight, we have never babied you, even after the resets started. We did tell you what would happen, and you have fought for real. Many, many times. And we know your strong, and can grow so much stronger, but the fact is that no matter what happened you were eventually killed by Kris, which may as well be my fault."

Classic: "Wait... Kris? Not Frisk or Chara?"

Before I could respond to V, Classic asked something that threw me off for a second. Only for me to remember after I asked...

Starlight: "Why would the Princesses kill anyone?"

Red: "The what now...?"

Gigi: "Frisk, and Chara, are human children who fell, and were adopted by the Dreemurs. Frisk, Chara, and Asriel, are the only other people who remember the Resets."

Stretch: "It's official, you guys have the weirdest AU so far."

I couldn't help but laugh, his voice was so done with everything we were saying.

Starlight: "Thanks, he, he."

V: "I have a question, did your uh... Well your human ever do another Pacifist route after the True Pacifist route?"

Classic: "Nope!"

They rip open the blind revealing the Surface, I couldn't believe it, I was finally on the Surface!

Classic: "Mine never even reset after the first one. The other's haven't had a true Pacifist run yet though."

I saw mom's eyes widen, as V looked at the window wearily, like he couldn't believe it.

Gigi: "Kris hasn't done anything but Genocides, since the very first time they fell, and eventually died of old age on the surface.... It's amazing to see it again...."

Classic: "Wait they still age? Frisk's body stopped aging like 40 years ago, when they first fell into the underground... Their still physically 9 years old."

V: "Yeah, Kris ages, just really slowly after they got into one of Dad's prototype potions. Frisk probably somehow got a finished version of the prototype"

Classic: "You AU keeps getting weirder... here Frisk's body was effected by Time Magic which stopped her aging."

Swap: "In mine, it was exposure to the Core's magic that stopped Chara's aging."

Starlight: "So is that how the princesses don't age in our AU, or was it dad's potions? I'm really confused."

Gigi: "Why don't you ask your brother that."

V: "I said it was an accident."

Gigi: "You revived 2 humans from the dead because their parents were sad they died."

Starlight: ".....HOW?!"

I ended up scaring myself with my yelling like an idiot, causing me to flinch again. Afterward V sighed and started humming the lullaby that would always lull me to sleep. I yawned lightly trying to get up but he just held me close. After ultimately giving up, I let myself fall asleep. After being transported I was already forcing myself to stay awake. And the lullaby was the final nail in the coffin.
