Walking toward Griffindor's common room, I spotted Alice walking with a Slytherin. But it wasn't Malfoy.

Maybe she wasn't as close with him as I originally thought....

The Slytherin waved goodbye and left her on her own, she stood infront of one of the windows that overlooked the Forbidden Forest. Walking briskly towards her, I tapped her on the shoulder, "Hi."

She turned to quickly face me, her guard up, but when realizing it was me she calmed down, "Oh hello Ron."

I stood next to her, awkwardly, "So... No Malfoy..?"

"No Malfoy..?" Alice questioned, turning toward me

"You and him... He and you.." I began uncertainly

"Okay..? And about us..?" She asked uncertainly turning back toward the window

"Well you know..."

"No. I actually don't. Know."

"Oh."

"Can you explain to me... Some things..." She turned toward me, bright-eyed and curious

"I suppose..." I began

She brushed her hand near mine, "You lead the way?"

I smiled and blushed, "I wouldn't dare let anyone do a finer job m'lady." I almost put my hand over my mouth, what was I saying?! "I mean... Follow me!"

She giggled and grabbed onto my arm whilst I lead the way.

This was turing out to be a good day...
