Strange Symptoms.

I Gigantamaxed my Machamp, feeling the weight of the gigantic Poké Ball press into my arms. Throwing it into the air, I watched as my Machamp took on its Gigantamax form, with its heavily-muscled, huge blue and yellow arms and its impressive size. Hearing its roar, a mighty, rumbling battle cry that shook the whole stadium, I turned around to face my Challenger.

Suddenly, something in my body turned over, making me feel sick. I tried not to show any weakness, but seeing the concerned look on Victor's face, I knew he wasn't convinced. The thing turned over again, and to ease the nausea, I placed my hand on my stomach. It didn't work.

I managed to keep my food down for the rest of the Gym battle. I lost, but all I could think about was the terrible feeling in my stomach. I shook the Challenger's hand and gave them their Gym Badge. I then rushed off.

To say I barely made it to the locker room in time would be a bit of an understatement. I had literally crashed through the door and stumbled over to the trash can before I started throwing up. I sighed as I realized that this would mean I wouldn't lead the Gym for a while. At that moment, all I could think about was how lucky I was to have Allister.

"Bea?" The small boy was standing in the entrance to the locker room, looking scared. "A-Are you okay?"

I nodded, but to tell the truth, I felt terrible. "Yeah, for now I am, but I won't be able to run the Gym for a little while."

My younger brother looked concerned. "W-Why not?"

"Well, during my battle with Victor today, I started feeling sick. And I swear there was something moving inside of me."

Allister looked even more concerned. "A-Are you sure you're not p-pregnant?"

"Oh, I hope not," I said with a light laugh. "I think it's just a bug. Nothing serious."

"O-Okay..."

"Anyways, could you please run the Gym for me during this time?"

"Okay. I-I will."

"Thanks, Allister."
