Khione is an only daughter from an Arctic clan down south. She's young enough to be free but influential enough to contribute. After straying too far southwest, Khione comes across a Zyther clan outpost. Out on one of his inspections, 17 year old Moirai (more-eye) Zyther, heir and second child of the head, meets 14 year old Khione Hristova. Falling in love, despite the obvious tension between both clans, Khione and Moirai marry after she births her son 4 years later. She enters her new, toxic environment with only the support of her Sister-in-law, the first child of the Zyther head; Niraasha Zyther.

After another blissful (kind of) 4 years of marriage, she bares a child, a beautiful daughter; Kara Zyther.

When Kara was 4, Khione discovers her husband's affair and leaves quickly. A selfish act on her part.

After various 'I told you so' from her parents, she's welcomed back to her clan, missing her son and daughter dearly. However, in her heart, she'll also miss her used to be sister-in-law. Her first friend, her sister, her comrade.

She reunites with her daughter and together, they have to fight one of their most beloved people.
