I raced to the scene of the akuma, heart pounding. The villain was a girl on the left, but a boy on the right. That was sort of confusing.

I saw a flash of red. Wait. What's my name again? Oh yeah. Noir Chat. No, that's not right. Nat Choir. No. Choir Nat. That's still not right. Chat Noir. Yeah, yeah. That's my name. Chat Noir.

"Fancy seeing mew here, M'lady," I joked with an awkward bow. Ladybug rolled her eyes.

"Come on, Chat. We need to defeat the akuma," she reminded me. Oh yeah. I forgot what I was doing. I mean... No I didn't! I did not forget! Stop looking at me! Go away! Why are you still here? I, I, you, we, ugh! I need to pay attention to M'lady.

I gently took her hand and planted a cheek on top of it. She pulled away briskly, but I noticed her hesitation. It was barely noticeable, but it was there. My heart nearly fluttered out of my body. We needed to take care of the akuma.

"Let's go," I shouted as I sprinted towards the akuma, staff ready.

"I am the Gender Bender! If you don't give me your Miraculous, you will suffer being your opposite gender," Gender Bender explained. "So hand over your Miraculous now!"

"Never!" I shouted. He/she shot a blue/pink blast at me. Ladybug jumped in front of me. Lady - I mean Manbug was now sprawled out on the ground in front of me. She - I mean he - got up and looked at he looked at his new body. I lost all romantic feelings at once and became quite depressed. Now Ladybug was a boy. I'm straight, so...

"Aaaah!" he screamed. "What happened to my body?"

"Well...you were changed into a boy," I stated plainly.

"I can see that! It's just so weird..." Manbug said.

"You'll have to get used to it. We might be fighting for a while," I explained.

"I know..." he said. "Let's get this over with..." We ran back to the akuma. There were lots of blasts coming at us. Manbug was my shield because he was already changed.

"This is getting difficult," I admitted.

"We can't get to the akuma because the blasts keep on pushing me back," Manbug explained. "And I'm your shield, so that doesn't help you."

"Well, we have to think of something or we'll never defeat this akuma," I replied.

"I'm working on it," Manbug told me. It was sort of funny because he still had a girl's voice. I tried to suppress a laugh. Unfortunately though, I failed. I bursted out laughing. Manbug gave me a confused look.

"What's so funny?" he asked. I laughed even more.

"Hahaha...It's just...hahaha...Your voice...hahaha...Doesn't match...hahaha...Your gender...hahaha," I replied, trying not to laugh, but I obviously did not succeed.

"Well, I'm sure it wouldn't be funny if you changed genders and became a girl," Manbug said. I stopped laughing immediately.

"Yeah... You're right. I guess it wouldn't be so great if I became a girl...but I still think that it's funny how you are still talking like a girl, but you're a boy, so... Actually..." I explained. By now, I had a huge smirk on my face. Manbug looked almost worried about what I had on my mind.

"What? What is it now?" he asked. "I don't think I want to know." My smirk grew bigger if that's even possible.

"Well..." I started. "Do you want me to tell you?"

"No, but you're probably gonna tell anyway," Manbug replied.

"You're absolutely right. I am going to tell you," I told him.

"Well, then spit it out. We don't have all day you know!" he demanded.

"I have a new name for you," I announced. Manbug looked like he was actually worried.

"Oh goodness. Please no," he pleaded.

"..."

"Don't do it!"

"..."

"Don't you dare!"

"..."

"Please!"

"..."

"I beg you!"

"Manbug," I replied simply.

"Oh my goodness. What kind of name is that?" he asked.

"Well...you aren't a lady anymore, so you can't be Ladybug. You're a man, so you have to be Manbug," I explained. Manbug had a deadpanned look on his face.

"Well, maybe you should look behind you," he suggested. I was confused.

"Why?" I asked and turned around. I saw what he was talking about. I looked at Gender Bender. "Oh... Hi..." I laughed nervously and jumped over a blast. Then I ducked under one. I dodged to the left; then to the right. Manbug wasn't helping at all. All he was doing was snickering behind me as if he found entertainment in this, but I knew he was also coming up with a plan. At least, I hoped so.

I was so caught up in thinking about Manbug that I didn't see an incoming blast until it was too late. It hit me point blank in the chest. I was blown backwards a few feet. I stood back up and noticed my body was...different. I didn't like it. I wanted my body back.

Manbug cracked up behind me. I frowned up at him. Oh, yeah. Did I mention that he got taller and I got shorter? Yep. I was now the shorter one. Nope. I definitely didn't like this.

Manbug threw his yo-yo and broke the akumatised object. He then purified the akuma. The villain turned back to normal. Manbug and I, however, were not.

We took care of the villain and met at the top of the Eiffel Tower.

"Look at me!" I shouted.

"I am! This is just too good. You're a girl! Hahaha!" Manbug laughed.

"It's not funny!" I protested.

"Yes it is!" Manbug argued.

"No. It. Isn't!" I countered.

"Just you wait until it happens..." Manbug said.

"What do you mean 'wait until it happens?' Wait until what happens?" I asked.

"Oh, nothing..." he replied.

"Tell me!" I ordered.

"You'll figure it out..." Manbug said. Then I felt a pain I had never experienced before in a 'place' I'd never had before. I absolutely hated it. (If you have experienced this, you know what I'm talking about...)

"Why do I hurt?" I asked.

"Let's just say... It's something all girls experience," Manbug replied.

"I hate this..." I complained.

"You should probably go to the bathroom," Manbug recommended.

"Why?" I asked.

"Here." He handed me some things that looked like mini pillows and girl undergarments. "You're gonna need those."

"What are these?" I asked.

"Pads," Manbug replied.

"What for?" I asked.

"You'll see... Just go to the bathroom," Manbug said. I obliged and hated what I saw. I almost screamed. This was torturous. I was not going to like my new life as a girl.
