Information/Lore of the world

Info:

So you may of heard of my series The 90's Kids, An Odd One's Theory is another original story I've created and it's also from the fantasy genre. It's the back up should I be unsuccessful for whatever reason with The 90's Kids, and if The 90's Kids is still successful this will be the series to come after it. To sum it up it's about a veteran soldier named Mytyo, he's survived a war his people lost and is the only one to have escaped the slaughter. He gets stranded on a planet named Oulea on the far side of their known universe. Severely broken and with major survivors guilt, Mytyo blames himself for what happens and becomes quite suicidal, but finds he can't bring himself to end his own life. So instead he opts to just wait out the rest of his life and turns to alcohol to drown his problems. He later meets two thieves named Thorn and Sharp, and unintentionally gains their respect and concern after he easily fights them off despite being drunk and in shambles. They self appoint themselves as his loyal followers and apprentices, much to his dismay, but slowly he warms up to them and slowly he teaches him the skills he learnt during his own training. Mytyo's true road to recovery is only found however when an escape pod carrying a redeyes crash lands near the place he calls home. The passenger is a Tarcadian redeyes with no memory of who she is or where she comes from, amnesia Mytyo later recognizes as being a side effect of a long time spent in stasis. Along with learning that he isn't the last one, he also learns that the Nervemites, the enemies his people were at war against, are coming this way, and Mytyo is forced to pull himself together to be the mentor Cabica (the redeyes) needs and the hero Oulea will probably be wanting in the near future.

The overall message of the story is that you can't ever give up no matter how hard it may seem, because if you do you'll never meet the person who will save you.

But this isn't what this role play is about, it's actually centred around Mytyo's childhood, because I wanted to develop his early days that let up to who he is now.

About the Tarcadians:

-The Tarcadians are an artificially created humanoid species made by an unknown life form with no known name, thus he is simply known as The Creator. The Creator much like Mytyo escaped the destruction of his people, who were all slain by an evil chaotic force known as the Nervemites that were destroying and enslaving entire galaxies to build their empire and quench their thirst for power. The Creator sought to create a race perfect to destroy the Nervemites and any other evil races, basically it was an attempt to make a freedom bringing race.  After a thousand years of researching and building this absolutely massive world inside a small dead planet, which later would become the home of the Tarcadians and all his other creations, he wasn't yet successful and knew he was doing to die soon of old age, before he did he uploaded his mind into a computer and even after he perished physically, he continued his work from there and began to produce successful living beings, and he aided his creations though the intercoms of his lab as he kept on working on what would be the tarcadians. 900 years later the first successful candidates appeared and he set them free in Basilia, by then it had become a very lush and thriving ecosystem with creatures known as walking jungle creatures. This was where the early Tarcads slowly evolved and became more natural, turning into the current Tarcads, all while still holding their purpose to destroy evil beings. Once they were firmly settled and proved to be perfect, The Creator passed them along blueprints for weapons and spacecrafts and gave them access to a launch pad, and finally they began to fight and drive back the Nervemites.

These beings are hermaphrodites (biologically both male and female) and can shape shift into a bird. Each of them has a class, which determines what they will be doing to contribute to society and what they are the best at, it also determines what kind of bird they turn into.

This roleplay follows a brood of redeyes growing up to become soldiers for this war.

About the Nervemites:

-The Nervemites are a species of insect like creatures that come in many shapes and sizes, some being absolutely massive worm like things that eat planets to itty bitty cat sized ones. Depending on their subspecies determines their function within their empire. They are absolutely hellbent on destroying and enslaving every planet they come across and their ultimate goal is to control everything. Somewhat like Tarcadians they have different 'classes' known as variants, there's the soldier varient, hive leaders, then queens, hoarders and finally rimors. With hive leaders and soldiers, there's occasionally stronger ones that have wings known as mid or high classes, respectively. They are led by a very rare subspecies known as basileusi, which like the tarcadians is humanoid like. They have taken over several planets, one well known one is TURRUS, which holds a massive factory known as The Car Factory.

About The Car Factory:

-The Car Factory is a massive factory on a planet called TURRUS. Despite its name, it doesn't actually make cars and most tend to believe that it's named such because the factory itself is built inside an absolutely massive car shaped object, potentially an ancient ship. Nobody knows for certain. The factory part of its name is correct though, as they do make anything from steel bars to spaceship parts to weapons, but unknown by most (including most of the ones trapped inside) it's overall functional is a maximum security prison. Those who the nervemites don't trust are sent to The Car Factory, as chances are one of the many hazards (just to name a few) like the incinerator pits, the horrid working conditions or the horrible smog will kill them. Some say that it sucks up time and light, and inside warps these. Supposedly the closer you get to the center of the factory, the stronger this anomaly becomes.

About Basillia

-Basillia is a massive underground cavern built inside a dead planet, given it seems lifeless and bare The Creator deemed it the perfect place to hide out while he built his super species. On the outside it's barren and lifeless, on the inside where the cavern is it's a massive open world with an artificial lighting system and sky that makes it seem like everyone is outdoors. It has cliffs upon cliffs with dense jungle covering everything, at the top is where the Tarcadians live given its the hardest to get to unless you can fly and it is easy to defend from the walking jungle creatures. Just outside the walls of Basillia are miles upon miles of laboratory, as well as a lunch pad. Water runs through the entire place, starting at the top it floods down creating a lot of water falls, before ultimately gathering to form an 'ocean' at the bottom. It's then sucked into a filter at the bottom and sent back to the top.

About The Creator:

-Little is know about The Creator, his name and origins were never shared. He currently resides as artificial intelligence within the labs, and ever since his creations began to successfully attack and drive back the Nervemites, he has gone dormant. He won't interfere, but has left instructions for waking him should things all go wrong and he be needed to restart the Tarcadian population. The Tarcadians know of their origins and they know of The Creator, and they somewhat deem him their god. A few have tried to talk to him through the screens in the launchpad, but all attempts have been unsuccessful. Tarcads believe that when they die, their life force will return to Basillia and become part of the planet, while their conscious will go to rest with The Creator.
