Azure kicked off the ball to Chigiri, as they both ran up the field.

Azure: 'Alright. Let's see if Chris was worth half of what he said he is as a trainer to me.'

The Manshine City players were in explaining their ideal play styles to Chris, as he had next come to Azure.

Chris: Next up is you Azure!! Your physic among everyone here is the most unique! It took a bit on analysis on my part in order to get your play style down! You're the type of player that likes to be ready to move in any situation, and you're capable of going distances without being worn down! That, and you have the most muscle density out of anyone here, so you have explosive strength!! Your a Complete Forward that's great at every facet of the game!

Azure: Yeah... But that ain't gonna cut it for me.

Azure clenched his fist, looking at Chris.

Azure: I came here because I wanted my physical abilities to go beyond "Complete". I need something that ascends me to the next level. You think you're up for that challenge?

Chris smirked hearing this.

Chris: If you can give me a description of the Ideal Azure Kaito, then by any means, I can help you evolve to that level!

Azure began to think, remembering the sensations he felt during the U-20 game.

Azure: I... I want to be a player who's able to act on every instinct his brain sends him. Every sign of danger, every optimal and crushing play I can feel and think of, I want to be able to do that without question.

Ikari listened in on this, smiling.

Ikari: 'Looks like he had one of those experiences again.'

Ikari had been reminded of a time where out of nowhere, Azure had managed to score an inconceivable goal in a game, which shocked the opponents, and even the Yokosuka players.

Ikari: 'Azure's gonna achieve a whole new state.'

Chris: I see!! I know just what I can do for you!!

From that day on, Azure began training his body, every day pushing himself harder than the last, while also continuously having multiple players on him while attacking.

Chris: Your shot distance is easily the greatest in Blue Lock, being able to shoot an incredibly controlled Curve Shot from up to 36 Meters. Even some of the best players in the world can't do that. However, for a high level Goalkeeper, a shot like that can be caught. A stronger kick is needed to let you shine.

Azure continuously took high precision distance shots, as Chris watched on.

Azure: 'I'LL CAUSE PANIC!!!!'

Azure rushed forward, arriving near Kaiser, who gave chase.

Kaiser: Running alongside me? You're a bold individual.

Azure said nothing, as his speed rapidly increased, with Kaiser soon found himself lagging behind.

Kaiser: 'He's faster than I am?!'

Chigiri had passed Azure the ball, as Ness and Grim where nearby in front of him.

Ness: I don't think so, Mr Black and White.

Azure didn't slow his charge, as the two attempted to pincer him to halt his assault. Once they did, Ness and Grim had realized they weren't slowing him down whatsoever.

Ness: 'HUH?!!! WHAT'S WITH THIS NONSENSICAL STRENGTH?!!!!'

The two were pushed to the side as Azure kept going. Isagi had quickly moved in response trying to slide tackle Azure from his blind spot.

Isagi: 'WHERE YOU LOOKING AZURE?!!! GET TOO COCKY AND THAT BALL IS MINE!!!!'

Without even looking, Azure had managed to Rainbow flick the ball over Isagi, and also managed to keep it away from Kaiser as well.

Azure: Think again jackass. I don't need to see you to run circles around you all.

Isagi: "T-There's no way!!'

Kaiser: Who is this guy?

Soon after, not only Kanata, but Ryu had made it to the 36 Meter Range.

Ryu: There, your shot range is cut down!!

Kanata: Your run ends here, Azure.

Instead of shock, or even annoyance, Azure had smirked upon seeing the pair.

Azure: You really think I slowed down without a reason?

Azure from 37 meters away had kicked the ball straight over the heads of the Forwards.

Ryu: NO WAY!!!

Azure stopped, as the ball continued to travel, with Gagamaru seeming to have hard time.

Gagamaru: 'Even from so far, it's coming in like any of Azure's other shots?'

Azure: My new style of Soccer allows me to play freely. I can react to anything your Metavision users do without even having to see it all the time with my honed body, and New Weapon.

Azure turned and smirked, before holding up his clenched fist, as Gagamaru had jumped far too late, with Azure's curve shot going into the goal.

Ryu: '... Azure is fucking awesome!! I should've been looking out for way more than Keith this whole time.'

Kaiser: Ryu, is that black and white haired muscle Striker a friend of yours? He's exceptionally good. Strong, fast, and above all else, he's incredibly confident. He's a gem you'll want to crush. Dawdle any longer, and I just may have to steal that stone away for myself.

Ryu: Fuck off, Michael. You wait in line.

Kaiser: I sure hope you don't believe the same tactic that you used before will end up working again. Neither Yoichi or I will fall for your chaos.

Ryu simply moved to his position, mildly annoyed.

Ryu: 'I already know that, you shitfaced brother. However...'

Ryu looked at Kaiser as Bastard Munchen seemed to be ready to restart the game.

Ryu: 'When it comes to advanced moves on the field, you have more high level techniques than. Ones that I can adapt.'

Kaiser kicked the ball off to Ness, as while moving, Ryu found that he would be immediately man marked by Azure.

Ryu: 'In this possession, I'm gonna do something more than try to score a fluke.'

Data began to enter Ryu's mind, eyes he watched every single movement of Kaiser.

Ryu: 'I'll steal every move I have to from you so I can fucking annihilate Ikari!!'

As Kaiser prepared for a pass from Ness, it came to a shock to everyone that Yukimiya had taken the ball from Ness.

Isagi: Yukimiya?!

Yukimiya: Forget this! If I wait the entire time... I won't have any more of it to spare.

Yukimiya from then began to dribble forward on his own.

Ryu: That fucking moron!!

Yukimiya: 'Ryu's done it before, so has Isagi, and they nearly succeeded! I just have to remember...!'

Reo game in to try and get Yukimiya, but found that he was nutmegged.

Yukimiya: 'God never gives us more than we can handle!!!'

As he kept going, he repeated this phrase, managing to get through the Midfield as well, and then even managing to Nutmeg Chigiri.

Chigiri: Damn, his dribbling is too good!

The street dribbler soon found himself at the 30 Meter mark, and seeing defenders closing in, he shot.

Yukimiya: 'GOD NEVER GIVES US MORE THAN WE CAN HANDLE!!!!'

That shot had gone over the heads of the defenders. traveling straight to the goal.

Yukimiya: 'All of my pain and suffering, was for this one shot!!!' GO!!!!

However, the fantasy of Yukimiya would be brought to an abrupt, and cruel end, as without even needing to leap, sprint, or even use another hand, Ikari was able to catch the shot with just a single hand, causing Yukimiya's heart to sink far down into the ground itself.

Ikari: You thought such a rushed and panicked shot would get past me?

His usually jovial and kind persona had been replaced by a merciless, and angered one.

Ikari: Don't you ever try a third rate shot like that against me ever again!

The players on Bastard Munchen were stunned to see this, while Ryu seemed furious himself. Azure smirked as he ran back.

Azure: Now you did it. When Ikari is warmed up, even I would start worrying about where I shoot from. You awakened the Giant's Claw.

Ikari kicked the ball up to Azure, as it traveled far across the field, with Manshine City following to support him.

Chigiri: Man, am I glad to have the Golem on our side!!

Azure: Goal number 2, come to papa.

Ryu: You forgetting someone Azure?!!

Azure hadn't been the only one who chose to man mark, as Ryu had leapt into the air alongside him, before roundhouse kicking the ball away from him.

Azure: GAH! Fuck your stupid rabbit jumps!!

With the stopping of the play, Manshine City would have the ball, however not even caring about that, Ryu marched up the field to Yukimiya.

Ryu: WHAT, THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING?!!! I DON'T KNOW WHERE YOU GET THE CONFIDENCE AT YOUR LEVEL, BUT EVEN IF YOU DIDN'T PISS HIM OFF, SOLO RUNS JUST DON'T WORK ON IKARI!!!!

Ryu looked down at Yukimiya, who seemed to realize that very same thing.

Ryu: ... Tch. You've got no one else but yourself to blame for getting crushed there. If you're not gonna link up and try to attack on your own in a game that clearly doesn't work like that, then just stay out of the way.

Yukimiya: ... Fuck off, Ryu.

Ryu: What was that?

Yukimiya: All that talk about the most "Rational" and "Optimal" plays. Unlike someone as straightforward as you, I don't live by such meaningless shit...

Yukimiya stood back up, pushing his visor straight back onto his face.

Yukimiya: I told you, I'm the hero of this match. I'll overcome this challenge all by my goddamn self!!

Finally, Ryu's patience with Yukimiya had finally reached it's breaking point.

Ryu: What are you fucking stupid?!!! All you'll be doing is dragging the players who are actually doing their job down with you!! This ain't some kind of fairy tail that you can magically win in by trying your hardest!! Join anyone! Kanata, Isagi, hell even Michael if you actually give a damn!! Just stop pulling everyone into your own-

Yukimiya: And isn't teaming up just another way of saying "I submit" to you? In the end, all you care about is showing off your own talents.

Yukimiya glared at Ryu with a clenched fist.

Yukimiya: You and Kaiser definitely are brothers! You both prattle on about the same thing and are cut from the same shitty cloth.

Ryu: ...

Yukimiya: If the world is only gonna reward assholes like you two, then this world is just seriously fucked up...!!

The silence was almost deafening on the pitch, before everyone had felt an eerie presence on Ryu. Ikari, Kanata, and Azure specifically recognized this.

Azure: 'That ain't good. Usually no one gets Ryu this riled up.'

Ikari: 'Usually when he's like this we have to pin him down before anything crazy happens.'

Kanata: 'UGH, DO I HAVE TO STOP THAT MORON FROM A RED CARD?!!!'

Ryu looked at Yukimiya, with glowing red eyes.

Ryu: Don't you ever compare me to my brother, you deluded narcissist.

Ryu pushed his hair back up, as he looked at Yukimiya, seemingly into his very soul, which shook the dribbler to his core.

Ryu: What? You expected me to feel sorry for you? Just because you're worse than me, doesn't mean I have an obligation to feel sympathy for when you can't accomplish the same things I can. And let me give you a reality check.

Ryu had gotten closer to Yukimiya, standing face to face for his point to be made.

Ryu: Even if you had half of my talent, you'd still be the same waste of space you are now with that feeble mindset you have. Just watch, because soon every fantasy you ever had will be burned into nothing but ash.

Ryu turned, with Yukimiya furious at the declaration as he walked away.

Azure: '... You know that probably hurt him worse than a punch ever could.'

Ikari: 'He wasn't wrong. Let's see exactly how Ryu intends to do that.'

Kanata: 'Bold statement Ryu. You've gotta figure out exactly what makes Yukimiya tick. If you manage to do that...'

Kanata stretched, before an aura appeared around him.

Kanata: 'Then I'll have a reason for us to actually work together again. Come on, Striker.'

The game restarted, as Nagi was passed the ball.

Nagi: 'Okay...'

Before his thought process could even begin, he found that Isagi had kicked the ball away from him.

Isagi: Don't even think about it, Genius.

Nagi: Argh, fuck you.

The ball ended up at Kanata's feet, as he quickly went forward, but was intercepted by Azure.

Azure: No can do, Kanata.

Kanata: Really Azure? You're not the only one who improved bro.

Azure found that in an instant Kanata was behind him, as for the other's it was apparent that he had used his best move in order to leave Azure in the dust.

Hiori: 'That was Phoenix Trick!!'

Isagi: 'Shit, even now I don't get it!'

Kanata had passed the ball up, finding that Ness wasn't being marked by a soul.

Ryu: 'Seriously, a human being disappearing and reappearing like that doesn't make sense!!'

Kanata: You didn't keep your eye on the birdy.

Ness with this opportunity managed to dribble through the Manshine Midfield, as Ryu still observed Kaiser.

Ryu: 'Come on, just do something new!'

Ryu had seen Kaiser looking around the field, mildly annoyed.

Ryu: 'Argh, that's something I already know how to do! Metavision isn't gonna help when he has it too! ANYTHING ELSE might be helpful!!'

As Ryu thought that, Chigiri, Reo, and Agi had come back to the defense, with 5 people in Kaiser's path.

Agi: Not happening, Tyrant.

Reo: HA, AS IF!! Not in a crowded zone like this!!

Chigiri: Your shot course is dead as good as crushed.

It was then that there was a change in Kaiser's eyes, different from Metavision.

Kaiser: You're fucking blind.

Defying any type of logic, Kaiser shot the ball. Ryu seemingly understood what he did, with a massive clump of Data exploding around him.

Ryu: 'That's what he did?'

The ball continued to travel fast, going past each and every one of the defenders, as Ikari having not expected this turn of events reacted late, only getting a single finger on the ball, as it wasn't enough to deter it from the goal.

Score: 2-2

Kaiser: The only hope we need is in the fact that I'M around, and nothing else.

Ikari landed, facepalming.

Ikari: Shit. I got too caught up with Ryu, and I didn't even think he would be insane enough to shoot with 5. His swing speed is even faster than that absurd Dragon Strike, but the shot speed is relatively similar. The timing threw me completely out of whack.

Ryu stood in awe, analyzing what he had seen.

Ryu: 'No. The Kaiser Impact is definitely amazing, but that's not why you were thrown off, Ikari.'

Ryu remembered Kaiser's sight, as it seemed laser focused.

Ryu: 'Michael was able to accurately aim because he drastically narrowed his vision.'

In Ryu's mind, the shot replayed.

Ryu: 'He found the smallest gap in between all of those players to aim at the best place inside the Goal in an instant. He completely reversed the properties of Metavision on it's head, and then was able to use that to increase his shooting accuracy to the next level. Predator Eye!!'

Ryu began to think again, as his previous matches he seemed to remember something.

Ryu: 'Wait a sec... I think I have that ability as well...'

The data around him began to enter his mind, as memories appeared.

Ryu: 'My first Dragon Strike... And that goal in the U-20 game... When I was absolutely pushed to my limits, my brain became super Goal focused... If I could manage to use that ability at will... Them my ability to score...'

Ryu's eyes widened, the the faces of Sae, Rin, Shidou, Azure, Kaiser, Isagi, Kalin, Kanata, along with the World 5 and even Master Strikers appeared in his mind.

Ryu: 'Could become the best in the World.'

Kaiser: What's wrong, Ry? Did you have a fun time stalking me? Or, have you finally realized how vast the difference between our abilities have been this entire time?

Ryu: ... Nah.

Ryu looked at Kaiser with slitted eyes, seemingly as if he was entranced.

Ryu: Thank you, big brother. With this, I've finally surpassed you, and maybe even everyone else.

Kaiser upon hearing this was shocked, breaking into a cold sweat.

Kaiser: What?

Ryu grinned widely, walking past Kaiser while cracking his knuckles.

Ryu: 'For now, beating guys like the Masters isn't something I can do on command, but in the entire Neo Egoist League, I've got the chance of a lifetime because of my arrogant family member.'

Azure: ... The hell is up with that?

Agi: UHYO!!

Azure: ... And the FUCK WAS THAT?!

Nagi: What's wrong, Agi?

Agi: I was analyzing Kaiser's shot just now, and my goosebumps won't stop. How did he even see that shot course? And even if he did, he aimed for it so perfectly... UHYO! I wanna know more...

Nagi: '-_- This doctor is a sicko.'

Azure: -_- Kinky ass quack.

Azure looked back at Ryu, smirking.

Azure: 'Evolution usually is a process that takes blood, sweat, and a lot of time, but you do it so easily that it makes a mockery out of people who's played the game for a few years now.'

Manshine City kicked the ball switching formations back.

Azure: You really are just an ever Evolving Monster, Ryu!
