Ryu: 'Stupid fucking Yukimiya!'

He kicked again, hitting a target on the top left.

Ryu: 'Where does he get off telling me that? I know good and damn well that I would've felt better shooting that son of a bitch and missing than passing!'

He stopped his next shot, thinking.

Ryu: 'But Noa is teaching me what I need to make sure I never have to fall into that situation again. Until I learn all I need, I'm not compromising that.'

He kicked again with a burning anger, as the ball nearly ripped through the goal. He stopped again, turning to the door to see Hiori.

Hiori: So that's what yer workin' on.

Ryu: ... Sup Hiori?

Hiori: Nuthin' really. Just lookin' to see what you've been up to for the last few days.

Ryu: Really? Cause from the look in your eyes, seems like you've got a question to ask.

Hiori: ... Man, on and off the field, it's like ya can see into the future.

Hiori walked over, handing Ryu a sports drink.

Hiori: You always look so passionate while playin'... I really wanna know why.

He took a gulp, before looking at Hiori again.

Hiori's eyes widened hearing this.

Hiori: ... You and Karasu. Ya both hafta be a pair of psychics.

Ryu held out a hand.

Ryu: Find something in this game, ANYTHING, that makes your blood rush. A Dream that you can wholeheartedly bash yourself into over and over. For me, I wanna rein as a Supreme Forward, not just a Striker. That's a byproduct.

Hiori saw a vast ocean of flame behind Ryu, as he clenched his fist.

Ryu: I wanna surpass every single one of these Master Forwards in those aspects. Ego lit a flame, and Blue Lock made me start thinking bigger.

Hiori: That dream... It's genuinely the one of a full on mad man.

Ryu: Play with me Hiori.

Hiori: Huh?

He smirked, holding out his hand.

Hiori looked at Ryu's hand, before grabbing it.

Kanata: While Ness and Kaiser and I being near the center allow for seamless attacks, almost as if I never left the midfield position. That, and Cyan head could easily take my place when it comes to being a Center Back until I can use my own speed to get there.

Ryu felt himself being picked up by the waist. This was revealed to be done by a young man who's height dwarfed even the likes of Ryu Azure and Aryu.

Isagi and the other players on Bastard Munchen were stunned at the sight of him.

Isagi: 'Crazy! The guy has to be at least 6'9, probably even taller! He's the Monster Generation's unrivaled Goalkeeper who's known for stopping most shots his way! Ikari Yama!!'

Ikari had put Ryu down, as the two clasped hands.

Ryu: I've been waiting for the day I get to be the Player to make you concede more than 2 Goals.

Ikari: A Hat Trick against me? Man, that's definitely not the kind of Ego I remember you havin' Ry!

Isagi was perplexed seeing the two interact with each other.

Isagi: Eh... EH?!!

Azure: I know, weird right?

Nagi: The two of them look like they're best friends even though they're about to compete against each other...

Chigiri: Even with Azure, Ryu's ACTUAL best friend, it was never exactly like this.

Isagi turned back to Kanata, almost able to hear the words "Work for my approval" from his mere existence.

Isagi: '-_- He's so much more welcoming than our jackass Guardian...'

Azure: Also, Ryu...

Azure placed a hand on his shoulder, walking past.

Azure: I'm gonna settle out little score today.

Ryu: ... Ha. Dream on Azure. First you two, then Keith and the rest of our old teammates.

The ball was placed in the center of the field, as Ryu looked back at Hiori.

Ryu: 'Time for you to assist me in becoming the world's greatest.'

Bastard Munchen began with the ball, as Kaiser allowed Ness to take the ball up the field.

Ryu: 'Like usual, Michael is starting off by trying to find a good goal route to take to the goal.'

As Kaiser did so, he quickly found that a pass from Grim that was meant for him was stolen by Isagi.

Kaiser: Really, Yoichi?

Ryu: 'And of course since he won't exactly be getting passes, Isagi is intent on stealing the ball himself.'

Reo: Taking the ball from your teammate? Looks like you haven't changed a bit Isa-

Isagi: Too slow.

Ryu: 'That's when HIS new ally comes in.'

Isagi passed the ball directly past Reo before moving ahead, as there to pass it back was Kurona.

Reo: Shit! Kurona?!

Ryu: 'This really is one of the times I wished we were working together again. He's a fast player with excellent short passes for me to work with. Those are for Isagi now though. AAAAND just to be an asshole.'

Ryu sped in, blocking Kaiser's clear path to Isagi:

Ryu: I'm not in the mood for your shitty Ego bro. Stay out of us real Strikers' paths.

Kaiser: You annoying little-

Isagi and Kurona began to break through the right side of the field easily, as to the surprise of most, Azure wasn't there at the last moment to intervene.

Isagi: 'Azure didn't resort to his usual tactics, so this will work!'

After a final pass from Kurona, Isagi prepared to shoot.

Isagi: 'Now it's time for my Direct Shot!!!'

Isagi kicked, with the volley going straight towards the top left of the goal.

Ikari: Seriously?

Almost as quickly as the shot went, Ikari was able to leap and catch the ball, looking as if he didn't even have to try. 

Isagi: WHAT?!!!

The more surprising fact was that Ikari seemed to have reacted even before Isagi had shot, as a target like pattern appeared in his eyes.

Ikari: You know, Goalkeepers have the best view of the field. You're gonna have to start thinking at twice the speeds that you do now if you wanna match me.

Isagi: 'Metavision as a Goalkeeper?!'

Kanata: 'Not only does he have that nonsensical vision that we do, but his reactions on their own have always been off the charts.'

Ryu: 'Not to mention his freakishly long limbs. He can reach virtually any part of the goal.'

Isagi: 'So this is the Number 1 Rated Goalkeeper in Japan?! Hell, maybe even the U-20 Category!!'

They all saw a massive monster behind the goal, as Ikari's eyes glowed while he smiled.

Ikari: Let's go, Man-City.

Isagi: 'Ikari Yama is an incredibly hard shield to pierce through!'
