Nagi: Your passes are kinda different from Reo's and Isagi's. You're more of a "You're gonna need to do this" instead of "Do whatever you want" or "I'm gonna let you chose".

Ryu: I guess you just never played with someone who's a real Playmaker.

Karasu: Do I sense a bromance forming?

Ryu: -_- Zip it, still in a game.

That when Ryu walked over to Rin.

Ryu: Not bad Rin.

Rin: -_- Go die in a hole, puppet.

Ryu: Well fuck you two then, bigger puppet!

Ryu looked back at Azure, who seemed to have agitated Sae.

Ryu: Gotta admit though, that guy played us all for fools. Even without the vision I have, he was able to conduct the field in a way that no one but him was able to understand until it was too late.

Azure: 'If I die out, so be it. I at least was able to get one over you, Beautiful Destroyer.'

Ryu: It may not seem like it at times, but the brain in Azure's head is world class when he puts some effort in. At least the best in Blue Lock by a long shot.

On the other side, the U-20 Team struggled to understand exactly what had happened.

Keith: I guess Azure Kaito is also starting to get excited. Didn't expect him to make a fool out of you like he did.

Sae: -_- Shut up.

Keith: NEVA!!!

Shidou: Come on, there's still plenty of time on the clock!!

Keith: Yeah, you're right. Plus, we still gotta get that second hat trick.

Keith passed the ball to Sae, as the players began to run forward.

Karasu: Remember, watch out for passes to Keith and Shidou!

Keith: 'Not like most of you could do much.'

Shidou: ^_^

Ryu was guarding Keith even tighter than before, on guard because of his last goal.

Ryu: 'Now that he entered Flow, Keith is an even more dangerous player. He's the one on the field you've gotta constantly watch unless you want to lose. Even among the other monsters.'

Sae was marked by Azure, as instead of his more patient dribbling, he threw Azure off by taking an initiative, and doing a two touch to get some space, and doing a long pass to Shidou, who was in the penalty area with his back to the goal. Reo however had other plans and mimicked Niou, using his body to block Shidou from turning as he got the goal.

Shidou: 'This bastard! He's copying that bearded guy!' Man, you just don't stop with the mimicry! How about doing impressions for a living?

Reo: And here you are, losing to a copy cat. Perhaps you're not a demon, but just some brat?

Shidou: Ha! YOU'RE JUST A DAMN IMITATION!!!

Shidou turned and shot the ball, however Reo was able to slow the speed down with his foot, allowing Gagamaru to easily catch it.

Gagamaru: Nice one Reo. Print another copy please.

Shidou: Tch!

Gagamaru: Everyone push up!!

Shidou: 'I'm not exploding enough... I need to leave my mark on this field, and this world as well.'

Gagamaru kicked the ball up, as before Nagi could trap it, Sae beat him to it, and kicked it directly back to Shidou, who ran to get a chance to shoot.

Ryu: 'Sorry Sae, but someone else is there.'

Gagamaru leapt, head butting the ball away.

Ryu: 'The wild child with the best Defense in Blue Lock! Gagamaru!!'

Ryu was about to run to the other side, but soon felt a creeping sensation.

Ryu: W-What's going on?

Shidou: Hm?

Shidou looked up at the ball, even more shocked than Ryu.

Shidou: 'Huh? What is this sensation? It's still way too far... But I can feel the goal with my back... All of my cells...'

As the ball went to Shidou, he jumped, about to flip.

Shidou: 'ARE TELLING ME TO SCORE A SUPER GOAL...'

Ryu: 'Are you serious?! So now Shidou?!'

Shidou bicycle kicked the ball hard towards the goal, from possibly 36 meters away.

Shidou: 'BIG BANG DRIVE!!!!'

Azure: 'He got in?!'

Shidou: 'Now~. To all you shits in the world... Who don't know me yet:.. Take my goal... Take my genes...'

A crazed look appeared on Shidou's face.

Shidou: RIGHT IN THE WOMB!!!!!

The ball bounced into the goal, with the U-20 taking the lead again.

Score: 5-4 Japanese U-20

Keith grinned seeing this.

Keith: DAMN DEMON BOY!!!

Shidou leaped into the air, roaring, with the crowd following his act. Keith ran over to Shidou with his hand out.

Keith: That one's gotta be worth at least another 2!!

Shidou broke into a sprint, high five'ing Keith while doing so, before jumping onto the back of Sae.

Shidou: I DID IT SAE!!! WITH YOU, I FEEL A SENSATION I NEVER FELT BEFORE!!! I WANNA PLAY SOCCER WITH YOU FOREVER!!!!

Sae however didn't seem to share Shidou's enthusiasm, grabbing Shidou, and borderline choke slammed him onto the ground.

Sae: GROSS.

Shidou: OOF!!

Sae: You have to get that Hat Trick remember? Hands off until then, you Horny Demon.

Ryu: OI, I CLAIMED THAT ONE FOR HIM!!

Shidou: Heheh, alright! And if I score 10 more goals, I move in with you, got it?!!

Keith: ... Is this still about the game for you?

Ryu: *Sigh* I swear to god this game is about to make me lose it. There've been so many ups and downs that even with my brain working overtime I haven't been able to keep track of it all.

Azure: Tell me about it.

Azure walked over to Ryu, standing next to him.

Azure: Ry, what do you think happens if we lose this game?

Ryu: ... Meh, didn't really think about it.

Azure: Yeah, that's definitely a you answer. Even if we end up losing, and that monster Keith Toshiki ends up becoming the Star of Japanese soccer... The only one who really loses is Ego. Blue Lock disbands, but we'll probably be getting offers left and right.

Ryu: ...

Azure: But to be honest...

Azure clenched his fist tightly.

Azure: To me, if we don't win this game, everything up until now would be meaningless. No matter how many offers I get, I'd still feel like I'd never be able to prove myself. Especially if the rest of the world's soccer is ahead.

Ryu: ... So how about we do it now then?

Ryu looked at Azure, as his eyes glowed.

Ryu: The two of us haven't pulled out all the stops yet. We haven't hit the limits of our creativity when it comes to ways we score. Until we do, I'm not ready to tap out.

He held up his fist.

Ryu: If I lose, how can I ever hope to be the best. You gonna go in swinging with me?

Azure: ... Hell yeah. But don't get it twisted, I'm gonna be the hero of this match.

They fist bumped, before hearing the call for a substitution. They both turned seeing exactly which player it was.

And it was needless to say that motivation wouldn't be a problem for Azure. In exchange for Karasu, Barou was brought onto the field.

Azure: HOHOHO I'm definitely not gonna give up now!

Ryu: What is with that unexplainable hatred?!!

Karasu: Coming in a bit strong with that killing intent, don't ya think?

Barou: Shut the fuck up. I'm just pressuring them.

Isagi: Barou, you're playing right wing! Hiori is moving to the right back position.

Ryu: Anyway this next play we're just gonna go for it. No thoughts about if we can't-

Barou: Hey, Scrub.

Upon those words leaving Barou's mouth, lightning seemed to strike the ground.

Blue Lock: O_O

Barou: I've been thinking this while watching from the bench. Your plays have been pretty lack luster, y'know?

Immediately Isagi, Bachira, and Azure were ready to tackle Ryu to the ground, seeing the raging aura around him summoned forth by the comments.

Ryu: -_- Oh yeah, you're gonna be fun to use you useless King. How has it felt seeing me become the biggest threat on the team? It's too bad you couldn't score a point against us in practice, cause you might've become irrelevant ON SCREEN.

Bachira: 'If those two don't kill each other it'll be a miracle.'

The team prepared to go on offense, with Ryu being passed the ball.

Ryu: 'There's only a single advantage to me now that Barou's in play. Because I know what he's like, and they don't, for a short amount of time.'

Keith dashed in front of Ryu.

Ryu: 'I'm the only one on the field who will be able to read this chaos. I'll be become an omniscient God, even if it's for this one possession.'

Ryu kept running, before stopping suddenly. Having not seen this trick, this threw Keith off, allowing Ryu to get past him.

Keith: 'There's still more he was hiding?!! How can a dude just stop and go just like that?!!'

Even though Keith was fooled, one person wasn't. Sae ran in, stopping Ryu from moving forward.

Ryu: 'Yeah I thought as much. Oh well, over to you.'

Ryu kicked the ball in between the two with his left foot, as Azure got it.

Azure: It always amazes me how I never notice the difference between which foot he passes with. This guy's got so many blessings it makes me jealous sometimes.

Darai ran in to try and stop Azure.

Darai: You won't get past me, Kaito.

Azure: 'Oh please, I've already got your game down. You can't predict what you can't make sense of. Or in reality-'

Azure did a chop dribble surprising Darai.

Azure: What you can't keep up with.

Azure dashed to the side, however Darai caught up to him.

Darai: 'Good luck with that! Getting past me like that will only ware you-'

Much to Darai's shock, Azure did a roulette to nutmeg him, and get past.

Darai: 'A roulette nutmeg?! What kind of dribbling is this?!'

A wolf was behind Azure, as he ran forward.

Darai: 'He's like a wild beast on the hunt, letting nothing stop him!!'

Azure passed back to Ryu, who had taken a path where the other defenders didn't expect him to be.

Ryu: 'Perfect. I outran Keith and Sae, so this should be-'

Much to Ryu's surprise, Aiku had arrived as well, getting in the way of his shot path.

Ryu: 'Wait, what? He actually arrived here with me? Did... Did Aiku somehow view the same thing that the three of us did?'

Briefly, Ryu looked back to see that both Sae and Keith both were behind him.

Ryu: 'Man, I didn't actually think I'd have to use him at this moment but...'

Ryu stopped dead in his tracks, confusing Aiku.

Ryu: 'This is still something I expected to an extent.'

Before the ball could get to Ryu, a certain King had made himself known. Barou leaped in, hijacking Azure's pass to Ryu.

Barou: THIS IS MINE, YOU PEASANT DRAGON!!!!

Azure: OH YOU BASTARD!!!

Keith Aiku and Sae didn't expect this in the slightest.

Keith: 'Did this guy actually just intercept a pass to his own teammate?!!'

Aiku: 'What kind of idiot?!!!'

Barou dribbled closer, trying to get in his range, meeting Aiku.

Aiku: 'If I had to guess, he's DEFINITELY NOT gonna look for a pass to his captain! That how these Egoist are!'

Sae: 'Which way will he go?'

Barou went right, which the players reacted to. However what they didn't expect was a chop dribble, getting the ball to the left.

Keith: 'This guy is insane!!'

As Barou was about to go after the ball again, a flash of black and red appeared in the eyes of the players. Ryu stepped in front of the ball, having black sclera, and a fierce red aura. Barou seeing this nearly popped a blood vessel.

Barou: GRRRR!!! BASTARD!!!

Aiku: 'HE TOOK THE BALL RIGHT AS HE DRIBBLED?!!!'

Sae: 'W-What the hell is even going on anymore?'

Keith quickly tried to move in, while Barou also tried to get the ball from Ryu.

Ryu: 'Perfect.'

Ryu's eyes became crystal like, as while Keith and Barou moved, the goalie couldn't see him. In the right spot, Ryu put a hand on Barou to keep him from moving further. With the fastest kick they had seen from him yet, Ryu did a Dragon Strike that went through the gap of Keith and Sae, with the goalie unable to react at all.

Score: 5-5

Ryu: YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!

The crowd cheered, with the announcers practically jumping out of their seats.

Announcer1: GOOOOOOOOOOAL!!!! ALMOST MAKING HIS OTHER SHOTS LOOK LIKE A WARMUP, RYU KAIZEN HAS ONCE AGAIN TIED THE SCORE UP WITH A GOAL THAT NO ONE ON THE FIELD COULD COMPREHEND!!!!

Announcer2: THIS MATCH IS ONE FOR THE BOOKS!!!! JAPANESE SOCCER'S NEWEST STAR JUST MAY HAVE BEEN BORN!!!!

Sae: 'There's... I can't believe that he just did that...'

The Blue lock players didn't know what to say, as Ryu began running back.

Ryu: WHY THE HELL ARE YOU ALL GAWKING?!! WE STILL HAVE ANOTHER GOAL TO SCORE!!!

Aryu: My, he's not even letting himself enjoy that unbelievably Glam play.

Bachira: Holy crap, that goal was definitely it for him.

Azure looked at Ryu, only smirking.

Azure: 'I knew it. Barou stealing that ball from him was all in his calculations, but just enough for him.'

As Ryu ran, a flaming dragon seemed to face the players on the field.

Azure: 'Blue Lock's Ace got into the Flow.'

Keith: *Chuckle* Alright, I'll admit it.

Keith walked to the center of the field.

Keith: But, only if you actually pull of a win here, Super Genius.

Rin: 'How...'

Rin clenched his fist, looking at Ryu running in his direction, almost enraged.

Rin: 'It just doesn't make any sense!! It was only a few months ago that that guy was just a pass first Midfielder!! How could he have surpassed me by such a huge amount?!! He's facing top players without even batting an eye!!'

Ryu: Hey.

Rin's thoughts stopped, as Ryu placed a hand on his shoulder, with a smug smirk.

Ryu: If you want advice on how to beat your brother, I'm right here.

He said nothing, walking away.

Ryu: 'Here's to hoping my scheme works in about 3, 2, AAAAAND 1...'

This single comment awakened a dormant feeling within Rin.

Rin: 'Offering me help? Like I'm not trying to devour you in this match too? W-What kind of feeling is this?'

A scowl appeared on Rin's face.

Rin: 'Disgusting...!!! I'm gonna crush you, TO PIECES!!!!'

Ryu: 'Every person has a limit they'll hit.'

Instead of going to Keith, Ryu dashed directly over to Sae, surprising most.

Sae: 'Is he trying to cut me off?'

An aura with numbers spewing out appeared around Sae.

Sae: 'Fine, I'll take you a little seriously.'

With that, a match up between Ryu and Sae had finally happened.

Azure: 'The Former Striker turned Midfielder vs the Former Midfielder turned Striker. Poetic in a way.'

Sae did hyper speed scissors to confuse Ryu, but he didn't fall for the feints. When Sae finally tried breaking past to the right, Ryu was there and almost got the ball, but it was pulled back. In that moment, Sae was ready to nutmeg Ryu, however he had forgotten that the pair knew each others moves better than anyone else. When Sae did try to kick the ball through Ryu's legs, Ryu quickly moved his leg back, and did a perfect trap to steal the ball. At this, Sae had broken into a cold sweat, while Ryu looked up, ready to finish things.

Ryu: I win, Sae.

He dashed past, with the entire field stunned.

Ryu: 'Now, how will I be able to break down the field right here, and right now for a goal?'

As Ryu went forward and assessed his options, the ball was immediately stolen from him. This wasn't completely out of his predictions, but still not something he expected outright. Rin seemed to be completely berserk, as he dribbled forward.

HIT THE MUSIC!!

Ryu: 'This wasn't the main thing I expected, but it is something that I wanted to see. Call it selfish, but...'

Ryu watched as Rin went forward, sticking his tongue out.

Ryu: 'Before we win, I want to see just what it's like, when Rin also enters Flow.'

Instead of going towards a more efficient path and trading passes with Isagi, Rin went straight to one of the defenders, that being Neru.

Neru: It's bad manners to have your tongue out like that.

Rin: 'Go die, shorty. Your weapon spiky head, is speed. You trigger that acceleration with an opposite acceleration.'

Rin baited Neru by putting the ball to the side. He took the bait, allowing Rin to nutmeg him and go in the opposite direction of his acceleration.

Rin: 'YOU'RE CRUSHED!!!'

Ryu was surprised upon seeing this, as Rin soon went to Darai as well.

Ryu: 'I understand now. You've gone and become the same, but the opposite of your brother, Rin.'

The ball was passed to Isagi, as while moving around Darai, he placed a hand on his V back to prevent him from turning while Rin trapped the ball with his back heel.

Azure: 'Instead of calculating and destroying beautifully like Sae, you're making the opponent bring their best and using that to destroy them. Hideously.'

As Niou went for a shoulder tackle, Rin prepared to do the unthinkable for most.

Rin: 'Center of gravity... FULL BURST!!!'

Using Niou's own momentum, he flipped the defender over his back. Watching this, Ryu smirked.

Ryu: 'What a twisted Flow.'

Aiku was the last defender in Rin's path, as he went forward, with the full intention of scoring.

Aiku: 'Looks like if he gets past me, we're done... That's what I'd say usually. However-'

Before Rin could make another move, without being noticed, Keith slipped through, and kicked the ball out of Rin's possession.

Keith: You ran away from ME, didn't you little Prodigy? I don't blame you though. Someone's instincts will always try to make them avoid certain death.

Rin was completely shocked in his trance, as Sae was the one the ball fell to.

Sae: Still lukewarm.

Ryu: 'Shit!! Come on, analyze brain!!!'

As he did, Ryu's brain began to overload.

Ryu: 'ACK!!! TOO MANY VARIABLES!!!'

As he moved, Azure dashed in to stall.

Azure: ONLY FOCUS ON THE FREE PLAYERS, YOU FUCKING IDIOTS!!! IF THEY SCORE NOW, WE'RE DONE!!!!

At that moment, something clicked in not only the mind of Ryu, but someone else.

Ryu: 'I get it.'

Ryu instantly went back, following Keith, but not too closely. Azure went to defend Sae, and hung on for a good few moments. However Sae's eyes flashed, before he did lightning fast scissors, causing Azure to pause, before getting Nutmegged.

Azure: 'Damn!!'

Once he was passed, Rin moved in to try and get the ball away from Sae. When he did, they went back and forth, seemingly even. Once more time passed, Ryu has ceased his defense on Keith, sprinting back.

Keith: 'HUH?!!!!'

He sprinted at maximum speed, moving outside the view of Sae. This gave him to comfort to go for a Cross Elastico Nutmeg. Even before Rin could try to stop it, Ryu had appeared in Sae's blind spot, plucking away the ball.

Sae: 'NO!'

Reacting quick, both Sae, and Aiku went to stop him.

Ryu: 'You there Loser?'

???: 'Yeah, I'm right here.'

Ryu made a final pass with the entire field confused. Running in Aiku's blind spot was Isagi, who's eyes seemed to resemble puzzle pieces.

Ryu: 'I'm annoyed my first instinct was this pass, but this is where it shows up.'

Isagi: 'If we can make this work...'

The ball fell before Isagi, with everyone realizing what was occurring.

Keith: 'Hold on, those guys-'

Sae: 'It has to be a fluke!!'

Keith&Sae: 'THEY'RE NOT LOOKING AT EACH OTHER AT ALL!!!!'

Isagi got off a Direct Shot, as it shot towards the goal.

Fukaku was unable to save it in time, as the ball hit the net.

Score: 6-5 Blue Lock

The ref blew the whistle, as Ryu and Isagi jumped towards each other, with Ryu holding him up.

Ryu/Isagi: 'THEN THE PATH TO THE WORLD WILL BE TORN OPEN!!!!'

The rest of Blue Lock stormed the field, dogpiling the two.

Announcer1: ONLY ONE...!! ONLY ONE PERSON SAW THE OPENING FASTER THAN ANYONE ELSE!!! AND JUST ONE OTHER PERSON SAW THAT AND REACTED! WITH AN ASSIST FROM RYU KAIZEN, YOICHI ISAGI'S DIRECT SHOT FLEW IN STRAIGHT AND TRUE... A FINAL GOAL THAT TURNED THINGS AROUND!!! AND AT THIS VERY MOMENT...!! RINGS THE WHISTLE ENDING THE MATCH...!! WITH A SCORE OF 6-5, THE BLUE LOCK ELEVEN WINS!!!!

Bachira Ryu and Isagi all smiled at each other, before Isagi gave Ryu a certain look.

Ryu: Ah fine, just let that one out Hero!

Isagi dropped to his knees, before letting out a scream of victory.

Isagi: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Most of the U-20 players were on the ground, crushed at the defeat.

Shidou: Hey genius, why didn't you pass to the front right away? If you had, there at least might have been some chance to score, or at least stop them from scoring too.

Keith: As usual, short sighted.

Keith got up, walking towards the two.

Keith: Ryu and Azure were in the way. Plus, he wanted to open a way for himself to pass to you.

Sae only nodded.

Shidou: ... In that case, it's your fault for getting foiled by them, so I'm gonna count that as a goal for me, gotcha? Which means I scored three! Like we promised, you're gonna have to tell me your number now!!

Saw: ... Hmph. At least let me shower first.

Keith: Shit a win is a win.

Keith smirked, as he and Aiku walked towards the Blue Lock players.

Keith: You are one crazy player, Ryu Kaizen.

Ryu looked up, staring at the striker and defender.

Aiku: Yeah, did you... Position yourself in my blind spot, Isagi?

Isagi: Yes. That, and I needed someone who could react and pass to me in that situation.

Keith: And that someone was him. But how did YOU grab the ball from Sae Itoshi at the last instant?

Ryu: Well... It was more of a chance thing.

Aiku: Huh?

Ryu: I knew Blue Lock needed one final push to win. I goaded Rin into going Berserk and enter a "Trance". He toppled the defense and made you come back to defend.

Keith's eyes went wide hearing this.

Keith: So then-

Ryu: I never intended on following you all the way out. Azure made Sae go all out, and from that last move, Rin would've beaten Sae's last nutmeg. That was the option where I could've gone for a goal.

Aiku: W-What if you went for the wrong place?!

Ryu: There WAS no wrong place. I had confidence in my speed to maneuver around with a goal.

Aiku: Okay then, but how in the world did both of you coordinate that last move?! You didn't even look at each other!

Isagi: That wasn't simple coordination.

Ryu: At that moment, it was simple. We shared the same winning image. The vision of the winning goal.

Keith: ... Ha. You two are a couple of psychos, you know that?

Keith took off his glove, extending a hand out to Ryu, while Aiku did the same for Isagi, who grabbed it.

Keith: You were undoubtedly the Man of the Match, Ryu Kaizen. You've won, Blue Lock.

Ryu looked at Keith's hand, before smiling, and clasping it.

Keith: Be warned though. Now that you're my rival, I'm gonna bring you down even if it's the last thing I do.

Ryu: Keep dreaming, former U-20 Ace!

Azure stood before Sae, as they both shared mostly stoic expressions.

Azure: Looks like I won that side bet Sae. I got Ryu to play at a level that even you didn't see coming.

Azure smirked, cracking his neck.

Azure: And I got one over you while I was at it.

Sae: ... You know this isn't the end right?

Azure: I'd be disappointed if it was.

Azure put Sae into a headlock with a smirk.

Azure: Things would get pretty boring if my old rival ended up as just a friend!

Karasu: Hold on, old rival?

Sae: ... This amateur and I used to go head to head when I played in this country.

Hiori: No wonder you're such a menace, you've played that Genius more than one time!!

Sae began walking to Rin, who sat on the floor defeated.

Sae: Rin.

The boy looked up, surprised.

Sae: I was wrong. I thought Japan was unable to give birth to any decent strikers.

Rin's eyes seemed to gain new life for a moment.

Sae: I found three. Keith Toshiki. The entire game, he was increasing the level of his play to a point that I had to try harder to assist him. Then Ryu. He's got a shot that's near the top of the world, and a brain that's constantly growing.

He looked over at Ryu, who was put in a headlock by Azure.

Sae: He's a Striker that will change how the game is played in the entire world. He even called forth your instincts on purpose. And then the only one who shared his last second play. Yoichi Isagi. It's HIM who'd stick around the change this country.

Right then, veins formed on the entire left side of Rin's face.

Igarashi: RYU, THIS IS NUTS!!! THEY WANT TO INTERVIEW YOU!!! ON TV!!!!

Ryu: O_O Um...

Azure immediately grabbed Ryu, before hauling him over his shoulder to the stall.

Ryu: AZURE WHAT THE HELL?!!!

Azure: NO MORE HIDING FROM THE SPOTLIGHT BITCH!!!!

He dashed off once the media saw him there.

Interviewer: Ah, Ryu Kaizen who scored a Hat Trick for the Blue Lock 11!! Please tell us your feelings on the match just now!!

Ryu: ...O_O... I... Uh... W-Well I guess the first thing I feel is happy.

Chigiri: ... Is that really Ryu?

Azure: Yup. A camera shy dork at his core.

Isagi: THAT GUY did THIS?!

Upon hearing that, Ryu could feel a close answer coming to mind, and his nerves fade away.

Ryu: ... Victory.

Interviewer: Hm?

Ryu: I'll bring Blue Lock and Japan Victory in the U-20 World Cup.
