Aiku: Sorry guys, I let him shoot.

Niou: Aiku... We really can't complain if even YOU couldn't stop him.

Aiku: Yeah. Really goes to show that he's a true prodigy. I'd say with the right training he could surpass Keith soon.

Neru: Speaking of Keith...

They saw him walking away from Ryu with an almost happy look.

Aiku: Ah, looks like Kaizen's managed to wake him up fully. Good, cause we'll need that for the next half.

Three minutes remained in the first half, as soon enough the U-20 players got back on offense.

Ryu: 'Even without Metavision, I can tell these guys have gotten a little desperate for a commanding lead.'

Azure: 'Everyone's on the offensive, but now that doesn't mean shit.'

Every Blue Lock player but Nagi went up to defend. Ryu stuck to Keith like glue, not willing to let him get any room to get the ball.

Keith: 'Good, it's been too long since I actually got a challenge.'

The ball was passed around, as Sendo passed to Chou, who shot, however was limited by Niko's slide tackle, allowing Gagamaru to block the shot. An additional minute was added, with Sae getting the ball after the block. Isagi and Bachira tried to stop him, but he easily got between them, and was about to pass. However Azure was there to stop him.

Sae: 'Tch!'

Sae had to do a few dribble moves to shake Azure for even the slightest moment, before taking a shot himself. However with the constant pressure that was applied, Aryu was able to leap in and block a shot. After that, a buzzer went off, signifying the end of the first half.

Ryu: WHOOO!!!

The Blue Lock players gathered, as everyone on the pitch knew that by shutting down that last shot, the Blue Lock players in a way had won. After that, they finally began to cool down.

Ryu: Phew, this Metavision is tricky. 'I admit, my processing power isn't quite as fast. Like before, my physical ability is allowing me to keep up.'

He took a sip of a sports drink.

Azure: You become a bigger monster every game dude.

???: AZURE!!!

Azure nearly chocked on his drink when hearing that voice. His head shot up, seeing a girl with similar black and white hair to his.

Ryu: Oh shit, Aurora?!

Azure: Sis?!

AURORA KAITO!!

Ryu: Haha, looks like you've got a watcher you actually know!

Azure: Sh-Shut up!

Azure blushed in embarrassment, looking away, while waving.

Aurora: YOU SHOULD BE DOING A LOT MORE WITH THIS MUCH TIME!!! YOU CAN'T LET RYU OF ALL PEOPLE OUTDO YOU!!!

Ryu: THE HELL DOES THAT MEAN?!!

Aurora: NO OFFENSE RY, YOU KNOW YOU'RE STILL GREAT!!

Azure: YOU TRY DEALING WITH A GUY THAT CAN ESSENTIALLY SEE INTO THE FUTURE!!!

Ryu: Pffft, hey!! It's good to know your number one fan is here to support you!

Azure: -_- Oh you son of a-

???: RYU KAIZEN!!!!

A chill went up Ryu's spine, as both he and Azure recognized the voice.

Azure: Ohhhh, busted!

Ryu slowly turned around, and his fears were realized, seeing a small girl in the crowd, with bright pink hair. At this, he spat out his drink.

Ryu: *COUGH* AERO?!!

AERO TANGELOS!!

Ryu not taking any chances sprinted over to the side of the arena the girl was at.

Ryu: Aero you simply NEED to believe me!

Aero: Save it mister! Do you have any idea how worried and confused I was when you didn't answer any of my calls?!

Ryu: Listen, I tried!! But that bastard Ego made sure that the only contact I had could be with family!! I asked my mom to let you know, but-

Aero: And you didn't even think to tell me you were gonna be going somewhere?!

The Blue Lock players looked at the scene, completely perplexed.

Isagi: Dude, who's the hot chick Ryu's talking to right now?

Bachira: Yeah, I never knew he could react like THAT.

Chigiri: Is he scared?

Azure: SHE my friends, is the only person in the world that can strike terror into the heart of the anomaly called Ryu Kaizen. His girlfriend.

Hearing this, the three listening needed to do double takes.

Blue Lock: GIRLFRIEND?!!!

Azure: His mom is a close second, but she's more of the "You're too good of a kid the get mad at often" type.

U-20 LOCKER ROOM

The players sat down at the locker room, as most were shocked.

Keith: *Sigh* ... We're bringing him in.

Niou: What?!

Neru: Are you kidding?!

Aiku: You sure about that man?

Keith: We need SOMEONE who can score a damn point other than Sae and I. Ryu's vision might be good, but I'm gonna see just how he'll be able to keep up with the chaos that's about to happen on the field.

Keith grinned, with a white aura coming off of him.

Keith: We've gotta pull out all the stops for this team. Blue Lock's going down.

BLUE LOCK LOCKER ROOM

Ego: So Ryu Kaizen, what exactly did you see on the field that allowed you to score like you did?

The Blue Lock players had a meeting, with everyone looking at Ryu,

Ryu: ... Well, only Azure's goal was the one where I truly saw more. This first goal, I had to rely on those guys in a combination play to score myself. We threw the field into disorder in order to crush their well honed defense. The next play... It was sorta like I could understand everything going on. I knew Aiku was over where Azure was at, and I had a feeling that he'd know to try and block Azure's right side.

The moment Azure kicked the ball with his left foot replayed in everyone's minds.

Ryu: I moved to the open spots before anyone else could reach me, and challenged Azure to score a tough shot. Evolution X Challenge. That's the brand new Chemical Reaction I made with Azure.

Isagi: 'It's just so surreal...'

Ryu seemed to still be in thought.

Ryu: 'The information I absorbed can still be useful. If I can memorize some of the patterns of the players, then they'll be nothing but NPC's.'

Azure: 'I've got so many people to catch up to now... It's kinda relieving.'

Azure thought back to many games where he and Ryu had won, with plenty involving hat tricks.

Azure: 'For so long, I was worried that there wouldn't be a single player that would be able to push me on their own.'

In a particular game, he seemed bored.

Azure: 'My patience was nearing it's end, but it looks like it's been rewarded greatly.'

Ego: There's only a need for a single protagonist in this game. So if you must, simply destroy to attain victory.

The meeting was concluded, as after a few minutes, the players were ready to go onto the field and play again. Once getting on the field again, the players finally saw who they expected.

Azure: About time they brought him out.

Shidou was on the field, and when his eyes opened, he saw Isagi Azure Rin and Ryu.

Shidou: Ohhh, what's this?

He walked over to them.

Shidou: You're going wild over here, Black and Red!! However, now I'm gonna be here to stop you from exploding anymore.

The were face to face.

Shidou: Let's make it real clear which one of us is the Number One, Ryu-Chan! Mwah.

Ryu: Sure. Crushing you ANOTHER time is nothing short of a pleasure, Horny Demon.

The game started, with the U-20 team getting the ball. Ryu immediately activated his Metavision, and started looking around. He saw Shidou dashing around, dodging and weaving around every player, including his teammates.

Ryu: 'It's like 21v1 with that guy. And the worse part is...'

Sae kicked the ball, bringing it to Shidou. Ryu ran in, trying to keep Keith away from the ball.

Ryu: 'He's got guys who can see the whole field. I can't keep both of them from scoring. Even Azure's defense isn't that good.'

Chigiri sprinted in to try and block Shidou's path.

Shidou: Must be nice being so fast!!

Sendo ran in, surprising many players.

Sendo: SHIDOU, OVER HERE!!!

Shidou: So you do get it sucker fish! One two, One two!

Sendo: SHUT UP!!! I'm just doing what Keith and Sae told me to do!!

Shidou passed to Sendo, allowing him freedom to get past Chigiri.

Keith: 'There we are. Now Ryu, let's see just how well you can keep up with me like this.'

Keith ran forward, moving around players and teammates alike.

Ryu: 'Shit!! I'm starting to believe that this mother fucker just has the best attributes from the most skilled Blue Lock players! His sharp turns are pretty similar to Kurona's!!'

Ryu dashed in, trying to follow Keith from a distance. However much to his shock, after some time, Keith stopped dead in his tracks, smirking.

Keith: 'You've got my vision, but you still haven't mastered it.'

Ryu realized exactly what happened afterwards, looking to see that Shidou was able to get a pass to Sae.

Ryu: 'He drew me out, and I took the bait hook line and sinker. Not bad Super Ace, but...'

Sae instantly sent a pass through to Shidou, as it bordered on being a shot. Though unexpectedly, Niko leapt in, trying to clear the ball.

Ryu: 'You don't know the strengths of my allies nearly as well as I do!! I'd rather leave defending a goal to Niko than letting you open with Sae!'

Niko ended up colliding with Shidou's foot, as the ref blew a whistle, giving him a yellow card.

Ryu: You got a little lucky there.

Keith: Maybe, but this works out.

He walked over to the down Niko and Shidou.

Shidou: You fucking blind ass...!

Niko: Oh, sorry I stepped on you. I mistook you for a bug.

Shidou got up angrily.

Shidou: THAT'S IT, YOU'RE DEAD MEAT!!

Before he could do anything, his head was grabbed by Keith.

Keith: -_- If you fuck up and get a red card when things are finally getting interesting, the only dead person here will be you.

Sae: Are you really gonna throw away that dream by getting a red card?

Shidou: ... Hah. How considerate of you.

Ryu began to think, as Bachira tugged his Jersey.

Bachira: Ryu, you're on the wall with me Isagi and Karasu.

Ryu: Oh, right.

Bachira seemed slightly surprised by this reaction.

Bachira: Man, I'm used to you usually getting so pissed off when I interrupt your thought process.

Ryu: That's cause you actually didn't.

They walked, as Bachira still looked at the thinking Ryu.

Ryu: 'For right now, I'll play it safe and conserve stamina. As much as I'd like to stop a goal, I want my body to last all game. No way I'll allow myself to get cramped.'

Ryu's eyes went back to normal, as he let out a sigh of relief.

Keith: Seriously? I wanna get a hat trick done and over with, so you guys might as well let me take this free kick.

Sae: Oh be real. Think about exactly what a goal like I'm proposing will do to their team?

Shidou: Yeah, plus this guy's willing to try and pull off a super advanced move with me. You can't just bring me out and not give it a shot!

Keith: *Sigh* Fine, but this better work.

Keith left the two of them, as soon Shidou dashed towards the ball, seemingly ready to kick. Instead though, he dashed past the ball, with it being revealed that Sae was the one who would take the kick. Chigiri ran to guard Shido, realizing it would be a pass. Sae kicked the ball hard towards Shido, as it went fast enough to be to a shot.

Chigiri: 'If I dive to headbutt it... I'll just barely be able to reach!!'

When Chigiri dived, missing just short.

Chigiri: 'Or not?! Are you kidding me?!! Did he actually aim for this?!!'

Shidou: Oh, bullseye.

Shidou's sclera seemed to go black.

Shidou: Fly... My Cells.

Shidou jumped, before kicking the ball.

Shidou: DRAGON DRIVE!!!!!

He kicked the ball mid air, and scored a goal.

Score: 3-2 U-20

Ryu: -_- Dragon? Really?
