Ryu: So, stealing Bachira back huh?!

Ryu laughed after hearing an explanation from Bachira.

Ryu: Man I don't know if you're naive or plain stupid!!

Isagi: -_- Can you just let me ask-

Azure: But to be fair, thinking that you were going to win against all of us wasn't TOO impossible. Just not probable. If would've literally put my life on the line to get the ball if you got that possession. But, Rin's lucky positioning saved it.

Isagi was about to speak again, before looking at Azure.

Isagi: Luck?

Azure: I know what you're thinking. "There's no way that it was just simple luck that I was missing to beat them." Right?

Isagi: I... Well-

Azure: And THAT shows why you're not in the top three.

Rin: Luck doesn't boil down to simple coincidence. It's the hidden element that favors only those who choose to act on desire. And if that's beyond your understanding, you have no right to live in the world of victory and defeat.

Ryu: To dumb it down for you, Rin positioned himself in a play to score and just let luck do the rest of the work. You've just gotta make your own. Think of it as getting randomly jumped. You're walking down a dark alley at night, and you see some pretty shady looking guys looking at you funny. See if your dumbass didn't go in that alley it couldn't exactly be called bad luck.

Azure: Violent analogy, but accurate.

Ryu: You make your own luck by taking note of your surroundings, plus knowing what decisions to make. If you still happened to get attacked, then I guess you could call that bad luck.

???: Well there goes half the lesson I was gonna teach.

They heard Ego's voice, as realizing what he meant, Ryu smirked.

Ryu: I finally fucked something up in one of your schemes you plotting asshole!!

TIME SKIP!!

24 hours later, the First 5 to get to the 3rd Selection had all adorned blue jerseys. Before on the pitch before even they were, were presumably some of the top Strikers in the world.

Ryu: 'Just like he said.'

TEAM WORLD FIVE!!

Ryu: ... I don't know why, but I DO NOT like that Luna guy.

The members of the team began to speak in English, confusing both Isagi and Bachira.

Silva: Damn, most of them are scrawnier than I thought!!

Adam: See? The Japanese aren't known to be muscular at all. Those two are probably mixed. Now pay up that 10 Grand you owe me. You lost the bet.

Ryu: -_-

Bachira: What are they saying?

Azure: They're treating us like jokes.

Isagi and Bachira looked at the aggravated Azure.

Bachira: *Gulp* Guess that means you understand English?

Silva: You're just going to to spend it all on women aren't you?

Adam: Oh do shut up. You came here to Japan to work part time.

Ryu Azure and Rin all walked up, doing something that surprised everyone else.

Rin (English): Hey! What do you mean? Is this game like a part time job for you?

Isagi: Wha- Rin?!

Bachira: He can speak English?! So cool!

Silva: Yeah that's right! There's no reason I'd come here other than to make a little extra dough!

Ryu (English): So you're money hungry, and HE'S just horny? Didn't expect professional players to be so odd.

Adam: Soccer comes second when it's not business. You're the same, right Cavosoz?

Pablo: Yeah. I wanna go to Harajuku.

Azure (English): You better get your heads in the game, or we'll completely leave you in the dust. Then your little sight seeing trips are gonna get traumatic.

Azure glared daggers at the three, clearly not a fan of being taken lightly.

Silva: I gotta say, I like your spirit you damn brat.

Luna (English): Alright, that's enough. The three of you should act like adults.

Luna looked at the trio.

Luna: You're Rin Itoshi, Azure Kaito, and Ryu Kaizen right?

Ryu: What of it, blonde prick?

Luna: Don't be so hostile, I'm pretty sure I've met your older brother before!

Ryu's eyes went wide hearing this.

Luna: He's made quite the name for himself of Bastard Munchen. Same for you Rin. Your brother Sae Itoshi has become very well known!

Both Ryu and Rin seemed to be annoyed when hearing about their respective brothers.

Luna: And of course Japan's super prodigy! You'd probably give the Spain U-20 a hard time! Anyway, this is a pretty interesting idea. To develop such a project to make Japan the Best in Soccer. Although Spaniards becoming the next sumo grand champion sounds more plausible. To waste this much wealth on such fruitless expedition... Japan must really be a thriving country.

Rin: You trying to be funny bastard?

Luna: Hm? Ah! Sorry, I was complementing you, y'know?

He smiled, although you would think he was trying to start a fight with the next words he spoke.

Luna: To gamble your life on something that might not even come true... You guys must be the world's biggest masochists!!

And just like that, Ryu's dislike for Luna had turned into true preference for him to die in a hole.

Azure: -_- I see what you meant Ryu.

Ryu (Pissed): Get ready to be crucified.

Loki: Hey, that's enough Luna. You're going too far.

Luna: What? Why? Did I say something weird?

Loki: I apologize everyone. This guy has a nasty personality.

He extended his hand out to Ryu, who looked at it, before shaking it.

Ryu: -_- I think you're the only one I can tolerate among this team. Aside from Cavasoz.

Loki: Putting those selfish grown ups aside, it's nice meeting you.

Ryu: Same.

Loki went to shake Isagi's hand as well.

Loki (Japanese): Let's have a good match.

They got to their sides of the field.

Ryu: Well he's rightfully confident. Doesn't mean I won't tear them to shreds.

The game started, as Isagi kicked the ball to Bachira.

Bachira: Just you and me freckles.

Bachira did a roulette to get by Pablo, however the rainbow haired man seemed to see this without a problem.

Pablo: Oh, good spin.

Bachira: 'Oh no no!'

He got in another touch, getting the ball away from Pablo before he could touch it.

Isagi: Nice Bachira!! Let's hit 'em with a one two!

Bachira: You dummy. As if I'd pass to someone who can only match my expectations!

Bachira ignored Isagi, continuing his charge.

Isagi: 'He won't match his passes to me. In that case-'

???: HEY!!

Bachira looked to his side, seeing Azure running past him.

Azure: Give it here!!

Bachira: Woah, well if you do something like that!

Bachira passed the ball over to Azure, who got cut off by Adam. Ryu and Rin ran over to open spots, however the former was cut off by Loki.

Ryu: 'Woah, when did he get there?! I could've sworn I was about to have a clear path!'

Rin: Pass it now!

Azure: As if.

Azure did a two touch to bring the ball to his right. When Adam reacted, he surprised everyone by going directly into a Roulette, getting past the man.

Azure: I'm not gonna let any of you outdo me in this game.

Adam: Well shit. The kid can move pretty damn well for his size.

Azure without hesitation after shaking Adam kicked the ball, scoring a goal.

Score: 1-0 Team Blue Lock

Isagi: Crazy!

Ryu: Ha, I thought as much. You'd never pass up a chance like that.

Azure: Just so you know, I'm probably gonna be even more selfish too. For the most part.

Luna: Woah, pretty good.

Pablo: No pushovers here.

Silva: Alrighty.

Adam: Saucy.

Ryu and Isagi glowed while smiling.

Isagi: Fucking sick. Those two just bit a chunk out of the world five.

Ryu: My turn next. I can't believe you went ahead and took the first taste. But anyway-

He looked at the opposing team, keeping his eyes pealed.

Ryu: 'I can't miss a single second here.' Isagi, let me mark Loki this possession.

Isagi: Uh, sure.

The game started up once again as Ryu looked to defend against Loki he moved up close, realizing the main weapon of the Child Prodigy.

Ryu: 'I can already tell he's fast, so I've gotta limit him. This range should be good.'

Loki: That is good.

Loki looked at Ryu, as their eyes met.

Loki: But not enough. At this distance, you still have plenty weak spots.

Loki kicked the ball forward.

Ryu: 'There, his first touch!!!'

Loki sprinted off, with Ryu almost not reacting at all. As they ran, he was actually able to get past Ryu, shocking him to no end.

Isagi: 'THIS GUY'S BUILT DIFFERENT!!!'

Ryu: 'HE'S GOT EXPLOSIVE ACCELERATION LIKE NO ONE'S BUSINESS!!!'

Ryu ran faster to try and catch up, while seeing Rin and Azure tried to cut off his route.

Rin: Your routes too obvious!

Loki: You've all got good foresight. But I'm fast, you know?

Once his foot touched the ground again, he sped up even more, getting past the two.

Ryu: 'He can go a gear higher?!!'

Loki was open, shooting the ball, and scoring.

Score: 1-1

Isagi: 'I thought Chigiri and Ryu were fast, but this guy takes it to a new level! This is Loki's Godspeed!!'

Pablo: Come on Loki, don't do it all yourself.

Silva: Yeah, pass it next time you jerk!

Loki: Okay, I've had enough anyway. Let's finish this up and hit the showers.

Bachira: This is a new one.

Ryu panted, looking down. Soon however, a smile started to form on his face, with him looking up.

Ryu: This is gonna be even more fun than I thought. Playing against players like this will make me evolve for sure!

His eyes went slitted, as Azure seemed a little terrified.

Azure: Ryu...

The terror soon became excitement of his own.

Azure: Let's do it.

Azure kicked off the ball to Ryu. While he moved up, Loki came up to defend him, as Ryu kept moving.

Ryu: 'I'm not stupid enough to try dribbling like you, so for now I'll stick to what I know best.'

Once Luna came in trying to steal the ball from Ryu, he stopped instantly, nutmegging Loki which surprised them.

Ryu: You fell for it.

Ryu dashed off, getting the ball due to Loki being backwards.

Luna: His change of pace is something else!

Ryu went forward, seeing that Pablo Silva and Adam were still there to defend.

Ryu: 'If I said I thought I could get past all of them I'd be a liar, so I've gotta rely on you!'

Ryu passed the ball over to Azure.

Azure: 'I honestly do wanna try and take it again, but I know I'll be stopped.'

Adam went towards Azure again, knowing that he wouldn't try another dribble combination,

Azure: Thanks for opening the path.

Azure passed the ball back to Ryu, who was ready to shoot.

Silva: Not on my watch!!

Silva went to block the path, as everyone on the Blue Lock Team knew what would happen.

Isagi: 'Good luck!'

Bachira: 'We already know that this is a point for us.'

Ryu kicked the ball fast and hard, as it shot past both Pablo and Silva, to even get past the Blue Lock man.

Azure: 'If you don't know it's coming, you can never stop Ryu's Dragon Strike!!'

Score: 2-1 Team Blue Lock

The World 5 Players were stunned, before all of them had their own reactions.

All of which where undeniably approval.

Silva: Well hot damn!! I didn't think there were kids with as much talent as Loki over here!

Adam: You've gotta admit, that's one hell of a kick.

Pablo: Do you have metal in that leg of yours? That was good.

Loki: Your speed isn't half bad either.

Luna: I'm pretty impressed by your change of pace. If you could accelerate faster then you'd be even more dangerous.

Ryu said nothing, turning back around, but having a satisfied smirk.

Ryu: And like that: The World's got an eye on me.

Dragon wings seemed to sprout from Ryu's back, as he glowed red.

Bachira: The monster's come out to play.

Azure watched, almost happy.

Azure: 'I didn't think what I asked him to do would make Ryu turn out like this.'

He thought back to the day they were in the park.

Azure: 'Ryu hasn't just become a rival to me as a Striker.'

A black and white aura appeared around Azure.

Azure: 'He's become someone I've gotta catch up to!'
