When last we left, Ryu had blocked the clear path Isagi's direct shot.

Isagi: 'Damn, Ryu really did see it! Oh well, I've gotta try anyway!!'

As the ball came to Isagi, he felt another presence nearby, looking back to see Rin.

Isagi: 'Rin?!! You're kidding!! Even though I broke away perfectly... He still managed to keep up too!'

Rin put a hand on Isagi's shoulder as he went further ahead.

Isagi: 'HE'S GONNA BLOCK MY SHOT!! With both of these two here... It's impossible!'

The ball got closer, as it seemed that Isagi wouldn't be able to score.

Isagi: 'I can't beat them...!!!'

Ryu: '... Why do feel like we're back in the 2010's?'

Isagi kicked, as he faked a shot, shocking everyone on the pitch.

Isagi: 'FOOLED YOU GENIUS!!! Sure, I definitely would fail if I shot from here, but that means you had to step out for my last shot!! And while Ryu's stunned, he'll react too late!!'

With Rin finally having stepped out, Isagi raised a leg.

Isagi: 'You both got here in time, to see my TRUE last action!! When you least expect it-'

Isagi kicked the ball with the back of his heel while he was turned away from the goal, as it bounced past both Rin and Ryu.

Isagi: 'MY DIRECT BACK HEEL!!!!'

The Blue Lock Man was slightly too late, as the ball hit the net. Everyone watching couldn't believe their eyes, with Ryu

Nagi: He's the savior of soccer.

Bachira: Isagi...

Isagi: 'It worked like a charm!! I devoured you both in one go!!!'

Isagi looked at the stunned prodigies.

Isagi: 'And I will surpass the two of you!!!'

Ryu still tried to process what had just happened, before shaking his head. He opened his eyes, as they went slitted.

Ryu: Screw it, not thinking about it anymore.

Azure: That's the spirit. He can't just let him score a goal that ridiculous and get away with it.

Rin: ... All of you... Bring out everything you've got left, or die trying...

Rin looked up with a blue glow in his eyes.

Rin: The Final Goal will be mine.

Azure: Not on your life. I'm taking it for myself.

Ryu: I wanna finish off the game with a Hat Trick, so I guess it's whoever's got the best shot, or whoever wants it...

All three boys glowed in fierce auras.

Ryu: Takes it for themselves.

Bachira watched, not knowing how to respond.

Bachira: 'It feels... Like they're getting farther and farther away.'

Azure kicked the ball to Ryu, as they all ran forward.

Isagi: 'Everyone got pissed from that last goal, so it's obvious what's about to happen.'

They all ran forward, with Ryu dribbling with no intention of passing.

Chigiri: 'If you've got the ball and have a chance to make a path, or already have to score, then you're gonna take it yourself!!'

Barou: 'They're not passing without reason.'

Nagi: 'Right now, they're going on both pure efficiency, and ego.'

Once Nagi and Chigiri were in Ryu's path, he began to do insanely quick scissors. They tried to follow, but once their eyes lost were too focused on the ball, Ryu kicked it out, and in a burst of speed caught up to it. However, he didn't expect Barou to be on him soon after.

Ryu: 'Argh!! They're cutting off the points to Azure, and Isagi is locking Rin down!'

He stopped quickly, before actually going backwards, and passing the ball to Bachira.

Ryu: GO ON DAMNIT!!!

Bachira: W-Wha?

Ryu: PROVE TO US THAT WE DIDN'T WAIST TIME PICKING YOU!!! STOP THINKING ABOUT ONLY HELPING OTHERS TO WIN!!!!

He broke away from the minor crowd.

Azure: You heard the man, play like a real fucking Striker! What the hell do you have to be afraid of?!! Being alone?!!

Bachira's eyes widened hearing this.

Bachira: 'He's right... All this time at Blue Lock, I've been playing with such skilled players, and in this game I've been trying so desperately not to get left behind...'

Bachira began to dribble forward.

Bachira: 'But when did I become scared of being alone? Just that last play when I tried defending against Isagi, that wasn't someone else talking, but it was my inner voice! I almost felt like it was okay to rely on others to get him back!!'

As he went forward, he felt a familiar sensation, with something within him trying to free itself.

Bachira: 'I relied on the monster inside of me, and when I found real life monsters, I was so happy that I could finally play with them! And then got scared, when I thought I wouldn't be able to play with them at all!!'

With each step he took, he felt his own monster trying to make plays for him. All around the field he saw places the monster was at where he could pass to, but realized it was a trap.

Bachira: 'If I'm always relying on you, I won't be able to catch up to any of them!! So go away... I'm begging you, please disappear!!! I don't need you!!!'

A giant version of the monster appeared behind Bachira.

Bachira: 'I DON'T NEED A MONSTER ANYMORE!!!!'

He Bachira went forward, only one person seemed to make a change. Isagi went forward to block his path and delay him. All around him the monster gave him options for a pass.

Bachira: 'DAMNIT!!! It knows that I've got almost endless ways to pass with those three on the field... But that's not what I want!!!'

Azure: BACHIRA, RIGHT HERE!!

Bachira: 'SHUT UP!! Get lost!! I won't pass-'

He nutmeg'd Isagi, getting through.

Bachira: 'TO A MONSTER ANYMORE!!!'

Ryu: 'That was one aggressive nutmeg! Finally, he's starting to smell the flowers!'

Chigiri ran forward to catch up, but Ryu did as well. This however wasn't only to get himself open for a pass, but to also be a distraction. With Chigiri's eyes slightly averted, Bachira used this to Nutmeg Chigiri as well. Bachira even though much more concentrated on scoring noticed this.

Bachira: 'Wait, did he do that on purpose?'

Ryu: FOCUS!!

Barou grabbed Bachira by the shoulder.

Barou: Running wild, bowl cut?!!

Azure ran beside Barou, as before he said anything, Bachira nutmeg'd Barou as well.

Azure: How stupid can you be fallen King? There's a difference between running wild and waking yourself up!

Everyone neared the goal, as data seemed to enter Ryu's mind.

Ryu: 'Argh, this again?! Why does it have to be at the very last moment of the game?!!

He began to see the field with a wider view, as he perceived every position on the field.

Ryu: 'Bachira isn't gonna pass, so all I have to do it focus on weather or not he'll score! Rin's looking to position himself somewhere off of dumb luck, and it looks like Azure's gonna stay near to be an option if he really does decide to pass!!'

HIT THE MUSIC!!

Once again, instead of passing the ball when being triple teamed, Bachira kicked the ball into the air. For a moment, Ryu stopped thinking, just to admire the work of Bachira.

Ryu: 'Even though it's reckless, you've gotta admit...'

Bachira kicked the ball up into the air another time, as this time Azure looked at well, slightly smiling.

Azure: 'That style of soccer suits him better than the one before ever did.'

Once it dropped again, Bachira kicked the ball with the back of his heel.

Bachira: 'That's right. Even alone, I had so much fun. I ran around after the ball till it got dark. Just like it was back then, being one with the ball is all there is for me. I don't need any other reason to play soccer.'

He trapped the ball with the back of his head, catching himself with his hands.

Bachira: 'There's nothing more fun than this in the whole universe! So even if I get teased for being strange... Even if I end up alone again... even if I don't have any friends...'

Once lifting the ball back up, he did another back heel to get it forward, with a yellow aura appearing around him.

Bachira: 'I'll fight. I'll lose myself in this passion that burns inside me!'

As he was about to get past, Nagi grabbed him by the shoulder.

Nagi: Oh no you don't!

Bachira once again saw the monster by Rin, Isagi, and Azure.

Bachira: 'You guys aren't it!!'

He spun himself mid air to get free of Nagi's grasp.

Bachira: 'I'm going to be the monster!!!'

Ryu: O_O So he's a ballerina?

Bachira: 'Thank you for staying by my side until now. I'll be sad if there's no one else's at the end of all this-'

He stepped forward towards the ball.

Bachira: 'But from now on, I'm going to be dancing alone. Goodbye... Monster...'

He prepared to take a shot, as soccer memories began to play in his mind.

Bachira: 'Goodbye, Isagi, the guy who's been my soccer buddy up to now.'

The glow around him began to grow.

Bachira: 'And goodbye, Ryu, the one who showed me that real life monsters can pop up anywhere.'

Nagi: Crap. I can't stop him.

Bachira gritted his teeth, as his eyes glowed as well.

Bachira: 'I have to get back my solitary soccer!!!'

All around him, and in his memories, his monster began to vanish.

Bachira: 'That's what will awaken me!!'

For a moment, Ryu could've sworn Bachira's sclera had turned black, as he shot the ball.

Bachira: 'THAT IS MY ORIGINAL EGO!!!!'

Isagi leapt forward, blocking Bachira's shot.

Bachira: Isagi?

Ryu: 'So I was right. Isagi made a break to devour Bachira instead.'

The ball flew up, into the air, as Ryu's eye twitched, with his pupils going back to normal.

Ryu: 'Grrrr, although I knew exactly what it would be up to, it's not like I'm okay with it.'

As the ball began to fall, it had landed almost cruelly at the feet of Rin. The boy trapped the ball, before shooting it, and scoring.

Score: 5-4 Team Red

Announcer: FINAL SCORE: 5-4. TEAM RED WINS.

Isagi slammed his fist on the ground, before screaming his lungs out.

Azure: ... Tch.

Bachira: '... I fought alone. When I believed I didn't need anyone anymore... in this world where I stand alone, you came to find me...'

Bachira looked down at the defeated Isagi.

Bachira: 'Isagi.'

Ryu: Hmph.

Ryu looked at Isagi as well, mildly annoyed.

Ryu: 'You're one hell of a pain you know that? Out of all of that madness, you made the decision to go after Bachira, knowing he wouldn't pass. If that ball didn't land at Rin's feet, who knows if either I or Azure would've made it in time.'

He clenched his fist, looking at Azure, who said nothing.

Azure: '... Damn. I guess I should've watched out for you a bit more than I did, Yoichi Isagi.'

Ryu: 'You where the most troublesome player on the field today, without a doubt.' We're picking players now.

Rin: And just so we're clear, if any of you thought of someone else, the final decision is up to me.

Ryu: Oh quiet down Mr Luck. You scored that last shot but I still scored the most points. Plus, no one wants anyone else from that team.

Azure: Nagi's traps and Chigiri's speed are mostly covered by Ryu, and Barou doesn't bring anything but unnecessary chaos to the table.

Ryu: Yeah. I was able to process the last play, but reacting in time was a different story. In that instant, we were all beaten by just a single player. It'd be way too much of a waste to let him sink back down.

Isagi hearing this was shocked, before he saw Rin pointing at him.

Rin: Then it's settled. Come, Yoichi Isagi. You will watch me become the best in the world at my side.

Azure: Back the hell up!! The only thing you really did better than me was score the last goal, I'm still gonna be the best in the world!

Ryu: Dream on! I caused more havoc for them then either of you, that's my future title thanks!

Bachira seeing the situation only grinned.

Bachira: Not this time! My monster dribbling will take me to the top!

Ryu: Anyway, we've got some world class players to go against.

Ryu brought a finger towards himself.

Ryu: On your feet Isagi.

Ryu began walking away.

Ryu: Cause now I need to beat you again for payback.
