The moon always consoled him,
Trying to vanish his sorrows,

She became his companion and buried all the shared secrets..

Never teased him for the loneliness he often felt ,
She glowed brighter and watched over him as he slept..

But later one day, cherry lips & rosy cheeks  outweighed  her greyish white  existence

With moist eyes the moon continued her persistence
No longer he came and waved at her with a smile,
All the low & happy moments with him were lost in miles..
For one last time , she glowed brighter ,trying to gain his attention,
But he had forgotten that the moon too has emotions !
