The next day Jake had come to school a bit mad even though he had the best sleep he's had since he started his American Dragon job. He took off his helmet and put it in his locker looking at the pictures of Rose he had in it before closing it.(I don't know where he actually puts it so just bare with me here.) He put his skateboard wherever it is he puts it then walked down the hallway.

When he was a bit far into the hall he saw a big group of kids surrounding something or someone. Trixie and Spud where looking at the person too.
Jake came over and tapped Trixie and Spud who turned around, "Hey guys what's going on? Why's everyone right here?" He asked.

"Jakey you don't even know?" Trixie asked in surprise raising an eyebrow.

"Know what?" Jake asked again.

"It's this new kid and he's pretty awesome looking." Spud explained.

Trixie nodded, "Ya and he's almost as good lookin' as Kyle Wilkins!" She exclaimed.

"But the thing is the dude said that he's not interested in telling anyone anything, only because he's looking for someone." Spud explained again.

Jake raised an eyebrow, "Seriously? He said that? Well maybe I should go see who this new kid is."

Trixie nodded, "You better get some information too! Its getting annoying that I don't know anything about him!"

Jake rolled his eyes as he tried to make his way through the crowd. When he made it to the middle he saw the guy, he was doing a magic trick.

"And now I will light this origami rose on fire." He said as he took out a lighter and as he said he lit the paper rose on fire, as it burned he had another paper as the ashes went in that. Once the rose was fully burned he placed his hand on top of the paper cone thing and shook it a little after that he quickly moved the paper away to reveal a real rose.(idk how its actually done...... DON'T JUDGE MEH!)

Jake looked at him and shook his head, 'He's got to be a wizard!' he thought.

The new kid smiled and gave the rose to Rose, "A beautiful Rose, for a beautiful girl." He said.

Rose smiled and laughed a little, "Wow, that was a really cool magic trick, and the Rose is beautiful. You know Roses are actually my favorite flower."

The new kid smiled, "Oh really? Then that was just the right trick to do. May I ask your name?"

"It's Rose." She said smiling and moving some hair out of her face.

"Well that's even better! Rose you are truly beautiful." He complimented.

Jake's eyes widened then glared at him.

The new kid glanced over to Jake and smirked, "Well if you'll all excuse me I have to go now." And with that he walked away expecting Jake to follow as he turned the corner.

Jake followed when he turned the corner, "Hey!"

The guy turned around, "Oh hello again." He smirked, "Like I said we'd see each other very soon."

Jake tilted his head in confusion, "Huh? Yo I don't know what your talking about, but I just want to know who you are."

The new kid laughed, "I'm the one from last night. The dragon you met. I told you I'd recognize you Jake."

Jake's eyes widened, "You...you were the dragon from last night?!"

"Yes I was, and now for me to properly introduce myself, my name is Daniel Short(Next update will be for better names for him or if you all want me to keep it.) I come from the state of California and the city of Las Angeles." he introduced himself bowing.

Jake just looked at him, "Eh.....alright then. Also how come I've never heard of you."

"I've kept my identity secret for my entire life." Daniel replied simply.

Jake narrowed his eyes in suspicions, "Okay then...I guess he's not a wizard..." he mumbled the last part.

"What was that?" Daniel asked.

"Nothing!" Jake quickly replied.
